His other dilemma was his adopted son, who never really seemed to socialize with others. He didn't mind that since he knew most kalona's didn't really like talking to others even if it was their own kind, but he could at least go out. He wasn't his spawn and it hurt him to know that he had none, yet he felt like he was his actual son. He had been taking care of him ever since he was a foal and sadly the little bugger grew on him from then on out. He was a protective father and a stern one. He didn't like to play around and wanted all his kids to be strong. He was lucky Ahriman turned out to be all he wanted in a son especially a kalona.
Smirking a little at the thought, he stopped walking and stared blankly at the tree before him. He remembered it very well. His father use to take him here to train as hard as he could. The poor tree still had the indents and the slashes engraved in the wood. He was ruthless back in the day and in some ways he still was. He had no reason to change. Everyone in the family said he followed after his old man, but he didn't believe it until recently. Until he finally looked at himself fully. He was exactly like him, from the constant battles down to the very serious nature. The only difference was he preferred kalona's and his father did everything he could to kill them.
His past was his past, but it still remained alive even in the present. He couldn't shake what he was and what he had become. The only way he could was if he completely re-wrote himself, but that was impossible. Most in the family would call him a monster, but in his eyes he was their savior.

Suiseiseki was standing by the water,looking at her reflection of her torn up hat and her scratched up face. She let out a small sigh of hopelessness. The mare was a long long way from home and she was completely lost when she had come to a clearing. It was a nice little place she had decided to set up a camp. All it really was was a nest of leaves under a rather beat up tree. It would do. The next thing on her task list was to get lunch. The Main priority and goal of the hour. Suiseiseki took a drink of water to fuel herself up before she walked back to her nest and drug back a sharp stick in her mouth. Watching the ripped in the small stream so she could stab a fish.
It' was quite the task she had on her plate as she finally got a tiny fish on the stick. It wasn't much, but never the less it would do just fine. The brown female walked back over to the fire she had started and set the fish on the hot coals. As she looked up she Noticed a Stallion. One She had never scene. He looked like quite the pretty boy, but she wasn't about to judge a book by it's cover. She had been there and done that and it wasn't exactly fun. She only rolled her eyes and walked back to her fire under the tree and lied down waiting for her pathetic meal to cook, paying no mind to the spotted stallion.
Suiseiseki was getting pretty home sick. She may have been the most anti social mare in the group, but she missed the sound of her friends. Even though she was crazy and what most would say bitter sweet, she really did miss company, and she wasn't exactly the best and socializing with the opposite sex.most of her conversations ended in Sexual things...or blood and guts, witch was not most people's cup of tea. She only shrugged because it was just the way she was, If anything she would do a damn good job talking to her self. Who needed parents or anything when she had her own free will and imagination.

The large stallion barely noticed the mare near the fire and honestly he didn't really need to notice her. She seemed quite intent on being alone over there and everyone knew Gabriel loved being alone. Looking away from her, he walked closer to the tree examining it further before lowering his muzzle down to the ground. This was the last place he saw his father alive and after that he didn't know what happened to him. Maybe he wasn't dead? Maybe he was still alive somewhere? He didn't think it was likely since his father loved living dangerously. He was always attacking things that he thought were evil. If only his dad knew just how terrible his son turned out to be.
Sighing lightly at his own thoughts, he flicked his long mane over his shoulder before walking slowly away from the tree. He felt more at ease after visiting this place. He didn't know why. His father wasn't someone he usually went into depth about let alone visit a place he might have died at. He just didn't really care too much. His father was dead why should he bother reliving memories that were dead and gone. Memories that were just too painful to remember. Pain was something Gabriel could take large amounts of, but not when it came to sensitive subjects. He would get ruthless and angry on the spot putting another life in danger.
Keeping his gaze straight forward, he walked further slowly and steady. His bulk carrying him swiftly across the tall grassed plains. Yes he knew there was a mare in the distance, but he usually kept to himself. Social meetings were not something he really liked.

Suiseiseki turned her head and looked at the stallion. Maybe he was familiar with the surroundings..Maybe he could help her get home! Even though she was so far away, Directions would even help. The mare stood up and shook off the dust and slowly walked after him, unsure of what she was going to say. the Male seemed that he had stuff on his mind and she wasnt going to intrude but she just had to go home. Suiseiseki picked up to her pace and snorted slightly trying to get his attention. The Plain mare couldn't believe she was about to ask a stranger, it was so not like her. She Closed her miss-matched eyes and took a breath and then exhaled trying to calm herself. Especially in something all ugly and torn up like this...and to not only make matters worse, but the stranger was a male!
The brown female cleared her throat and opened her eyes. "Um, Excuse me sir." She said boldly. I've seem to be quite lost... Are you a native to these lands?" She tilted her head slightly.
OOC: Gaahh...Block QAQ -rubs away crying-

Gabriel looked at the brown mare after hearing her question. He didn't want to speak to her, but he wouldn't leave someone lost in a place like this even if he had to force himself to linger around her. She didn't seem like she was from here so he knew she wasn't lying at least. "I'm very familiar with these lands. Where are you trying to go to?" He asked her turning back around and walking over to the little camp she made for herself. He wasn't very friendly so if she was expecting a lot of manners she was wrong.
"Why are you eating fish? Are you part kalona or just trying to get sick?" He asked her tilting his head to the side and looking down at the fish on the stick. It wasn't something he would try because he would end up getting very sick.
