Day 1: Olivia has been working on a machine to try and reverse the normalization of their prestigious school. As she is working, she comes up with the idea that some of the students might have an idea to help fix things to. So she arranges a makeshift science fair for the students. As the day goes on, she decides to move her de-normalization machine to the auditorium after giving it a quick test run. She asks the school nurse, Katya, to help her, but as it is fired up, the machine backfires, and somehow turns Katya evil.

However, Katya is determined to wreak havoc, so Olivia asks Granz, to keep an eye on Katya and prevent her from causing catastrophic harm to the school. Comedic mischief ensues. Meanwhile, the books in the library seem to be so unorganized that Olivia and Naomi are unable to find the books they need, so they ask the students for help. After everyone searches, the needed book is finally found, so Olivia begins her reading.
