"Mmmm" the noise vibrating from the mares throat like a purr as she savoured the juices exploding into her mouth and making her stomach rumble at just the thought of receiving them. It broke through the silence and seemed to cue the sound of crickets and distant screeches (Or was it yelling?) bringing the scene to life. Peren had been awake a good few hours, she was awake and filling her gut before pondering how to spend this night, because everyone knew it didn't matter what you did it was better to do it on a full belly!

Flitting around the trees, Dew was enjoying the feel of the breeze through her hair. She has always enjoyed the vegetation and wanted to know more about it. "Ohhh!" Dew exclaimed as a falling leaf caught her eye. Chasing the leaf, following all it's twists and turns as it whirled it's way closer to the ground. She halted just before hitting the ground. She nosed at the leaf pushing it back into the air, but unable to get it to fall as it was before. "Humph!"

Pausing half chew Peren just stood still and listened for a moment, the background noise seemed to seep into the foreground for a moment there, or was she imagining it? Then she felt the faint vibration under foot and the clippity clop nearby of another, she was defiantly within herd territory so it had to be a herd member right? Don't know till you find out! Peren swivelled then headed towards the noise just in time to catch the humph "Are you ok Ma'am?" Staying on the edge she tried to show respect for the elder female she had never met before.

Perking her ears towards the new comer and her head followed when she was certain that the leaf was not moving anymore. "He gave up and I don't know why! They always give up on me..." A look of defeat crossed her face as she stared back at the leaf and then into the trees. A sudden realization popped up in Dew's eyes and she rushed up to the young mare, "Did you just call me Ma'am?!?" Laughter bubbled from within, "I've been called many things, but I don't remember ma'am being one of them." Darting around the mare, looking her over, "Who are you? Where did you come from?"
