Hobbies:
Drawing-
Sketching and drawing has been something Reeve has done since he was a young boy. It comes in handy for his jewelry designs, for he always sketches them out in advanced and plans out how he wants to work. To help with his drawing, Reeve carries a sketch pad on him at all times for whenever he gets inspired. This way he can doodle or sketch at all times, and his ideas are never lost.
Rockhounding -
It was no surprise to the Jenkin's family that rockhounding (or amateur geology, as it's also called) was in Reeve's blood from the time he was little. Due to the craft that the men in his family practice, there has always been an abundance of valuable gems and minerals in the household; Reeve was always captivated by these rocks. From pouring over tables of stones in his youth, to searching for them now that he's a teenager, the fifteen year old considers this hobby to be one of his biggest passions.
Exploring -
What teenage boy doesn't love exploring? When it comes to an adventure, Reeve definitely loves a good one! His parents often wonder how he stumbled across that peculiar totem of his in this woods one day, and venturing off was exactly how he did it. Reeve isn't afraid to go off and explore, and can often be found wandering not just around Palisade, but through the Wardwood when his father makes trips down to Old Castle. There is a lot out there that is still unknown, and when it comes to exploring nifty artifacts and beautiful treasure might be found. There is no way that Reeve will pass anything like that up.
Jewelry Making -
Jewelry making has been a craft that has been in Reeve's family for generations. His father is a jeweler, his grandfather was a jeweler, and even the young teen is apprenticing to take up the family business. It works out quite well for Reeve, however, as it allows him to put his hobby of drawing and his love for minerals and fine stones. It also comes in handy if Reeve ever wants to impress any lady that he has his eye on. People can't seem to turn down pretty finery.
Personality:
Reeve is a handsome young man, more artistic for his age than most of his peers. While the other young boys would prefer to hunt and talk of weapons and fighting, he prefers to draw and sit back while listening from the background. Although not as rambunctious as others, he is by no means un-lively, and throws himself into his hobbies and work with passion and a strong work-ethic.
When he's not apprenticing at his father's shop, Reeve cannot help but have a bit of a sense of adventure. He loves to explore, and will often be found in various places about Palisade or on the edges of town. On trips to Old Castle with his father, the teenager has been even known to frequent the Wardwood from time to time, enjoying the mystery of the old forest. His little explorations leave Reeve with quite a few stories and tales, which the young man tells charismatically to friends and others who are curious.
Typical for someone his age, Reeve is also rather charmed with the ladies. Although not as bold as some, if he has an eye on a particular girl, he will not hesitate to try and make her feel special. He is a bit of a flirtatious lad, and has been known to use his ties to the jewelry making industry to his advantage if hoping to woo a young woman. All in all, however, he's just an average teen growing up in Palisade, hoping to take over the family business when he comes of age.
