Round one!
In an abstract kingdom faraway, there lived a princess and a peasant. These two children met when they were little and became best friends after the princess saved the peasant boy from a gang of bullies. As the two grew up together, the boy grew a crush on the princess. Not because of her wealth or royalty, but because she was kind and faithful. It took a while for the boy to admit his love for the princess to himself but when he did, he was afraid to tell her. Eventually the time came for the princess to choose her husband and he knew he had to speak out. The soon to be queen and her friend walked through the castles proud garden when the boy proposed to his best friend. The princess carefully and kindly declined his offer and then a few months later married another man. After the wedding, the heartbroken boy became the newly crowned queens duke and at the wedding met the new duchess. The duke and duchess became very good friends as time moved on and the duchess fell in love with the duke, but backed up to wait for his love for the queen to die down. She knew about it because the duke told her once they made the agreement that she'd have power if she was loyal to him.
The royal family planned a ball soon to come, but the king wouldn't be able to attend. This made the duke happy, for he could have more time with his queen. Plus, he had special plans arranged with the duchess. Something big was going to happen during the ball that nobody but those two knew about. In the garden lies some golden instruments and that's where the ball would be held. These instruments had to be collected, for they were the key to saving the kingdom. The ball was planned to inspire the townsfolk to dream and dream well because the plant life was slowly beginning to wither away.
Day 1: A few instruments are found and guests decide who is to help in the search.
Day 2: The rest of the instruments are found. The duke gets the key and then destroys it.
Day 3: A new key appears.

Alrightie! Sounds good for the description so far, but we will need one to post on the front page only including the world falling apart and the duke was heart broken. We can't hint the duke is plotting something on day one^^
