"Hmm, I guess...no, I'm sure that this will fit Wilson fine! Hope he likes dinosaur t-shirts."
The basket that Eva had dangling from her arm was filling up very quickly with a variety of clothing. A lot of her friends had lost all their possessions when the rooms were destroyed, and Eva herself was not exempt from this--aside from her uniform and coat, she had practically no clothing left. Thus, the moment the chance presented itself, she took a day's leave to go shopping and replace what had been lost.
In the end, her shopping basket had ended up with more men's clothing than women's. She knew that Wilson had lost a fair share of his items, and she had read on the twitter that Otto's room was completely destroyed. So, being the good big sis and...er...puppy owner that she was, it didn't take long for Eva to decide to pick up some things for her friends as well. Shirts, pants, socks...
...And of course, underwear.
"HMMMMMM," Eva mused loudly, enough so that a few of the other customers turned to stare at her, "Does Otto wear boxers or briefs? ...Maybe I should buy them both? I mean, I should probably get a pack for Wilson too." As she spoke, she held up a pair of boxers in one hand, and a pair of briefs in the other. Her gaze slid between one and the other, lips turned downwards in a frown.
"If I were Otto, I'd wear..."

It was either destiny or a cruel fate that Otto chose the same day as Eva to go shopping. He had no idea the other Death trainee was out and about, let alone chosen the same mall, in the same city. Maybe it really was destiny. Especially since she seemed to be shopping for him. Be it another twist of Fate that Otto was in that very store when he heard his name called from an all too familliar voice. Her question said so aloud and public almost made him red in the face.
There she was. Holding up men's underwear. People were staring. But why was she buying him underwear? That seemed... weird.
Otto sighed, rubbing his neck as he stared at the back of Eva's head. "For the record, it's boxers." He answered, a narrow gaze held on the dark haired girl. "And why the Hell're ya buyin' me underwear?"

Eva jumped at the familiar voice, nearly flinging the underwear she had been holding in her hands. However, once she recovered from the surprise scare, the girl turned to face Otto with a bright grin. "Puppy, hi! And hmm, boxers, huh?" Eying the packages, she grabbed two packs of boxers--one for Otto, and one for Wilson--and tossed them into her basket. Frankly, considering how the basket looked as if it was beginning to overflow with clothing, it would probably be a good idea if she got another one soon.
With that done, she walked towards the blond boy with a bright grin on her face, lifting the basket for him to see. "I'm shopping, obviously! You lost your stuff when the rooms were destroyed, right? I saw your posts on the twitter, so..."
Trailing off, she stared at him thoughtfully, looking between the clothes she had picked out and the boy. "...While you're here anyways, why don't you try on what I picked out for you, just to make sure everything fits?"

Why did she look so elated with all that---- ... it was almost all boy's clothes. Why was she... wait. She wasn't seriously.. shopping for him?
Otto stared blankly at her as she approached, the pieces falling into place as she spoke. She really was here to replace his clothes. "Why.. aren't you just buyin' stuff for yourself? Like, you earned that money. I figured you'd go out and buy girl s**t." Otto seemed baffled, returning to rubbing his neck uncomfortably.
She asked him to try on some things, and he had to ask. "What... did you pick out for me exactly?" He spoke in an almost nervous tone.
He was bracing for the worst. Was he now her personal doll?

"I am buying stuff for myself," She told him, pushing aside some of the objects in her basket to reveal some woman's clothing and undergarments at the very bottom, "But since you lost everything, I figured that I'd replace some things for you. You know, coats, shirts, pants...underwear."
She lifted the pack of boxers and waved it at him with a giggle.
Her expression brightened at his question, and she immediately set the basket down so that she could root through it. "Lots of things! I mean, there are some t-shirts, dress shirts, ties..." Humming thoughtfully, she leaned back to look up at him. "You need jeans, right? Let's go find you some jeans, Puppy, and then you can try everything on."
Clearly Eva was having entirely too much fun with this.

Well, that was thoughtful of her. Otto really had no problem letting her buy stuff for him. It sure beat spending his own money on clothes. This also meant he didn't have a whole lot of say in what she bought. He cringed as she waved the pair of boxers about, turning his head and rubbing his neck.
This was going to be an awkward day. He could just tell.
Oh no she was buying him proper clothes. At least there were some t-shirts but he wasn't happy about the ties and dress shirts. Then again, maybe he'd need them down the road. "Jeans? I like, only wear those when I ain't got no choice." He grouched, though followed after her anyway. "They're so constricting to move in."

Eva gaped when Otto revealed that he usually didn't wear jeans. What...what?! But jeans were like...the default pair of pants that everyone wore! How could Otto--
Constricting? The girl frowned at first, but then a look of realization dawned over her face. Oh. Oh. "Why didn't you just tell me so, Puppy? Be back in a sec." Leaving her basket behind, the girl started darted off, and it would be a good five minutes or so before she returned. Once she did, however, she was carrying a new basket filled with what looked like more clothing. She bent down to transfer some of the things she had picked out for Otto--just a couple of the shirts and ties--and moved them into the new basket. Then, shoving it at the boy with one hand, she started pushing him towards a changing room with the other.
"Try these on, and then come out and show me how they look, okay?" She chirped cheerfully. After a moment, she lowered her voice to a whisper, "You should have just told me that that was what you mean by not wanting something constricting, you know. I wouldn't have judged you." With that, she gave him another push in the direction of the dressing room.
Once the boy had the time to root through the basket a little more thoroughly, he would find half a dozen skirts sitting beneath everything else.

Wait, what? Otto watched as Eva took off, leaving him with her basket. The small blonde looked around awkwardly, not sure what to do with himself. It would be a long five minutes, and when Eva returned she'd find the boy with his arms crossed and a not so happy expression on his face. However, since it was Eva that look was likely ignored in favour of shoving him toward a change room. Her cryptic whisper should have sent warning bells, but it didn't prepare him for his discovery.
Inside a change room he quietly huffed as he sifted through the clothes. Shirts and things, but just what were these.... these...
. . . .
"EVA!" He yelled through the door. Soon a big ball of skirts came flying over the change room door. She was clearly making fun of him. Clearly. He had half a mind to dump this stuff and escape. Still, with those dumb skirts gone all that was left was shirts and ties, which he still didn't see himself wearing at all.
Otto walked out of the change room with the basket in hand, holding it out for the tricky woman. His expression said NO.

Eva flung her arms out in a panic to catch the ball of skirts that came soaring from over the changing room door, and it with wide eyes and a genuinely puzzled expression that she watched Otto storm out of the changing room.
...What?
"Weren't you hinting to me that you wanted skirts, Puppy?" She cocked her head to the side, humming thoughtfully, "I mean, you said you didn't want anything constricting, and skirts are as free and airy as they come. Though in hindsight..." In hindsight, why would a guy like Otto ever want to wear a skirt? Which Eva had thought that it was a little weird at first, she had decided not to judge her friend's choices. He was who he was, and she'd accept him no matter what, right?
With a sigh, she dropped the skirts back into her own basket, and then folded her arms over her chest. "Well, fine, no skirts. But you will try on those shirts I picked out for you." There might have been a glint in her eyes as she continued, "Or do I have to come in there with you and forcibly make you put them on?"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I WANNA WEAR A DAMN SKI---" He coughed into his hand, noting his yelling had drawn attention. "I like loose clothes." He said pointedly, tugging on the baggy shorts he was wearing. If he had a choice though, he'd wear the damn jeans over a skirt.
The threat worked, simply because he knew she'd do it. "Fine." He said through gritted teeth, turning sharply back into the dressing room.
After a while of quiet cussing from behind the closed door, he emerged again with a shirt and tie, holding out his arms in a display of 'Look i wore the damn thing. Happy?'

"Skirts are loose," She pointed out, smiling mischievously as she rest a hand on her hip, "And breezy. Though...if you're sure, I guess I can go switch these for a size that will fit me." Unlike Otto, Eva had no qualms about speaking in a relatively loud voice. It didn't bother her in the slightest that they may have attracted some attention from the other shoppers--the girl seemed pretty oblivious to everything that was not Otto, clothes, and making Otto try on clothes.
She waited patiently (and with a look of triumph) when Otto turned and stormed right back into the changing room. From the sounds of things, he was not happy...but free clothing (free on his part, at least) was free clothing, right? When she heard the latch of the changing room door slide open, she turned to look at him.
"Hmm...looks good, Puppy!" She moved forward, tweaking his tie so that it sat a little straighter and...stuffing in his shirt for him, regardless of any protests to the fact that this meant shoving her hands a good few centimeters down the perimeter of his pants. Standing back, she looked him up and down and then nodded.
"Okay, we'll get that. Why don't you go pick out some other stuff too?"

Free clothing he likely would not wear outside of a formal occasion. But free nonetheless.
Otto raised a brow as she began to fuss, rolling his eyes as she fixed his tie. However he squeaked a bit as she just went ahead and basically stuck her hands down his pants. "Geez! Watch it." Sure it was to tuck in his shirt but still. He was not expecting to be manhandled by Eva. Once she stood back he gave her a rather offended and incredulous look.
"Yer sure forward.." He commented as she allowed him to change and pick something he'd actually wear. He turned back into the change room to get dressed into his original attire before returning with the clothes he'd tried on. They were handed to Eva rather hurriedly.
"You payin' for the other stuff too?" Of course he had his own money, otherwise he'd not have come, but the more free things the better. He already began moving through isles to find shirts and pants he actually liked; most were graphic tanks and tees, bermuda shorts and his usual tastes. Almost all in blues, grays and blacks.

Either Eva didn't know that her actions were uncomfortable for the boy, or she simply didn't care. Judging from the amused grin on her face, though, all signs pointed to the latter. She pat Otto on the back in a reassuring manner, and then shrugged, looking unfazed. "I'm just being brisk and efficient with finding you clothes and getting you to try them on," She told him, taking back the offered clothing and carefully folding them. She chuckled at the boy's question as she dropped the dress shirts back into the basket.
"Sure, I guess. Just don't overdo it, okay? I need to get stuff for me and Wilson too, you know." And probably some kind of thank you gift for Gale, since they were inconveniencing him by staying in his house until the dorms were repaired.
...Er, if...they were repaired?
With the baskets hanging at the crook of the elbow, she followed after Otto, lifting her brows at all the things that he was picking out. While she didn't say anything, she did emit a heavy sigh at his choices.

Otto tilted his head and stared at Eva from the corner of his eye as she sighed. "You didn't seriously think I'd choose stuff like you picked?" Likely he'd only wear dress shirts and ties on a normal day if all other clothes were destroyed beyond comprehension. "Too stuffy."
With that note he tossed another shirt and shorts into the basket, stuffing his free hands into his pockets. "I like my normal clothes. They're comfortable." He leveled a narrowed gaze at the dark haired girl.
"Did you lose anythin'.?" Not that he cared, or anything. Just so you know.

"No," Eva admitted with no hesitation, "I knew that it wouldn't be to your taste...but I didn't expect to run into you and have you stop me from buying you classy clothes, so." Crossing her arms over her chest, she grinned deviously. To be fair, she had had some t-shirts and other casual things in her basket, but had Otto not run into her, Eva probably would have gone on to buy him some full suits instead of something he would actually wear.
That being said, she couldn't argue with comfort. After all, after a long day of fighting monsters of being thoroughly pummeled, no one wanted to wear pants so tight that they rode up their a**.
"Pretty much everything," She answered him with a wry smile, "I was wearing most of my Christmas gifts, so that was all saved," She held out her wrists to show him the bracelets before continuing, "And I managed to save a couple of the plushies you gave me, but my clothes were a goner."
