Carter stood in one of the many coffee shops in New York, waiting her turn in line. Of course she knew some --well most-- of the males in the shop where staring at her. How they were still attracted to her, she couldn't tell. She went threw all of the steps she could to hide herself so she wouldn't attract to much attention. A pair of sunglasses hid her stunning eyes, and a large sweatshirt hid most of her body. Still no matter how hard she tried to cover herself, she guessed it wouldn't change the fact she was Aphrodite's daughter. So she stood in line, ignoring the looks as best as she could. When it was her turn to order, she smiled and approached the counter. The person at it was a young teenage male, so this would be easy. "M-may I take your order?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly. Smiling, Carter nodded." Yes. I would like a Vanilla Latte please." Nodding, the worker rushed to get it. Lifting her sunglasses onto her head, Carter let her eyes focus on the boy. Seeing him flinch once, she smiled as he brought her over the drink. "$3.98 please." " I'm sorry, I forgot my wallet at home. Do you think you could cover for me?" She asked with her charming and inoccent smile. The male nodded and handed her the coffee. Smiling, Carter kissed his cheek and winked at him before walking out. Alright maybe being the daughter of the Love Goddess had its perks.

Logan sat on the edge of the building, watching the clouds roll in. His father was at it again wasn't he? Wanting to play with a little lightning. He looked down at his fingers as they sparked, and sighed. Being son of Zeus was alright he supposed. No one screwed around with you, they knew better than that. Hell, Zeus could smite them or something, just turn them to ashes for touching his son. But no way in hell would he do that. The gods didn't interact with their children, which he thought was complete and utter bull s**t. But of well, he did just fine on his own. He closed his steely eyes, a gust of wind blowing around him and lifting him to his feet. Only once he was standing on the edge of the 50 story building did his eyes open again, looking down at the people below. They looked like ants. "I could squash them like ants too." He mumbled in a smooth voice, turning on his heel with not a fear in the world of falling off. He started towards the door thhat led off the roof, then stopped. His fingers sparking again, he looked over his shoulder at the edge of the building. Oh why not? He smirked a little, then with a running start, jumped off the edge. With a little help from some wind, he landed on the next building. Being a demigod wasn't bad at all. It was quite enjoyable. He repeated his actions until he made it back to the base, jumping down window ledges until he was on the ground, landing with lightning sparking from his feet. That whole thing about rubber repelling lightning was bull. It would take a whole hell of a lot more than an inch of rubber to stop his lightning. Humming softly, he lifted his hand to the scanner, and stepped inside the air conditioned building. He hadn't realized how humid it was outside until he stepped into the cool, dry air.
