The kids are either trapped in cages or cells when the lab goes into flames. So as everyone is running for there lives a scientist frees them, not wanting to let his work die, and they have to make it out before it blows.

Black smoke swirls around outside, not able to get into her cage because its enclosed. A Fire has started and is spreading fast. Her cage was Glass, and made it unable for her to shift. She could hear exclaims of excitement as metal cages were opened, and people were getting out. Karmon pushed against her cage, "Help!" She screamed, not wanting to be forgotten in this collapsing, horrible building. She usually didnt ask for help, or at least the person she had been didn't. But she was more then desperate to be rid of this building. What if they found her after the flames, what if she didn't get free, but survived. She'd be forced to do horrible things again. She remembered some of them. But she'd been someone else then, literally. Finally she could hear the keys in her cage that would unlock her. Then the door spun open, and the horrible hands reached in to pull her out. She screamed, and fought thinking he was going to take her somewhere else to be experimented on. But he just shoved her out, and went to the next cage. A cloud of smoke puffed up into her face, and she coughed it viciously out of her lungs. She didnt wait for more, she wanted out. As she neared a door, a fallen metal beam closed off the exit of the room. She searched around, looking for someone who could move it. She would even become the person if she had to, and use their power to move it herself.

Logan tried desperately to cover his mouth and nose with his shirt, his steely eyes stinging from the smoke. How did this damned fire start? He hadn't done anything this time, it wasn't his fault! He heard cages opening, his eyes meeting the scientist's for a moment before his door was opened. He almost cheered in happiness and relief, but that would mean breathing in more of the foul smoke. He was going to bolt for the door, but then he froze. Where was she? Was she out already? "Carter!" He yelled, dropping the shirt from his face. "Where are you?" He coughed, covering his mouth with his hand. He wouldn't know if she had already gotten out unless he went outside to check, but then he wouldn't be able to come back inside if it turned out she was still stuck in here. He stumbled over a bit of the ceiling that had collapsed, barely staying on his feet. "Can you hear me? Carter!" Almost all of the cages had been opened, was hers open already? He had to get out alive, he had a family. A family that he loved dearly. His brother Zach, his sister Miranda. He had to take care of them. They were too young to support themselves. And since mom and dad weren't around anymore, they relied on him. He couldn't help but wonder how they had been doing without him all this time. Were they doing okay? After he found Carter, he was going to get back to them

Spiridon let a howl escape his lips as the heat singed his bare skin. With a single chain holding him to the wall by his neck, he was probably the best off out of all of them. Everyone else was heavily caged and chained up. Like his sister. The single thought of Apollinaris made his heart leap. Was she okay? No. There was no way she was okay. She hated fire more than anyone he knew. Grinding his teeth together, he fumbled with his foot on the ground, searching for something - anything - to get him out of the clasp. An empty sound clinked against his foot. He toed the thing onto his shoe, able to barely reach it. Holding it in his hand, it was a syringe. A cold, empty one. Maybe he got lucky this time. He fumbled to slide it into the lock of the cuff, hand shaking as he wiggled it around. The Russian managed to move the tumblers around and unlock the cuff, removing it from his neck. Coughing violently, he briefly rubbed his neck before frantically looking around. "Apollinaris! Apollina! сестра!" he yelled, voice hoarse as he switched from English to Russian. Unable to see anything, he coughed and fumbled until he found a wall. He could see a faint glow of white and blue from nearby and began to approach it- until, "брат! брат! Spiridon!" a frantic scream returned. He felt a cold hand on his arm. It had to be Apollinaris. Spiridon held to her hand as he ran to the light, finding it to be a glass window. Thank Gods. He reeled back a fist and punched, jumping out and bringing Apollinaris with him. He pushed her away from the building, pausing. As she ran, he stayed. Over the burning and collapsing, he could hardly hear anything. But he stayed close, listening intently and ready to rush in and help.

Logan growled in frustration as he got no reply. This was great, absolutely fantastic! He had to jump back when a few scientists tackled each other to the ground, grimacing at them. He saw the keys go spinning into the fire, his hope slipping away. Great. Just because he could shoot fire didn't mean he could walk through it unharmed! He could just barely hear the whimpers and growls from the girl in the cage. Alexis if his memory was right, wolf girl. And she looked agitated, really agitated. Going against the voice screaming in his head to find Carter, he turned to her. "Back up." He said, his fingers sparking. He bit his lip, concentrating until he produced a flame. If he heated up the lock, he could just snap it off and get her out. No use just looking for one girl-- even if he loved her-- and let other's die right? "Come on dammit." He muttered, shifting on his feet. The cowardly scientists had finally gotten up and just abandoned her, moving to others. They only had one set of keys now because one of the idiots dropped theirs. He felt relief dawn on him as the metal started to turn an orange color from the heat, but his fingers were starting to burn too, his hand shaking. He had to stop before his fingers turned to charcoal. With his unharmed hand, he gripped the red hot metal, sirens of pain going off in his head. But adrenaline coursing through him, he ignored it and pulled. The lock snapped off, and he pulled her door open. "You have to get out now." His steely eyes met hers for a moment before he turned away, coughing through the smoke. Where was Carter? He had to find her, he had to.

Spiridon gave another cough, looking up as smoke poured from the shattered window.He peered over his shoulder at Apollinaris, who was coughing on the ground but seemed to be unharmed. He hated to leave her, but knew he had to help everybody. He climbed back up to the window, entering the building once more. The smoke burned his eyes and mouth, the heat feeling like it was about to melt his skin off. With a cough, he yelled into the building, "Сюда! Ребята! Guys, over here!" He repeated the words as many times as he could. He could hear people fumbling deeper inside the building, but didn't dare enter again unless he knew he was needed. He waved his hand in front of his face, coughing violently. He looked back out the window at Apollinaris, who was now sitting up and wringing her hands. She was too scared to near, he knew, but could help calm people down once they exited. "Каждого! Everybody!" he yelled finally as loud as he could.

Karmon realized it'd be impossible to see, and everyone seemed to not know how to get out. Focus! She told herself. What people have which powers? This wasn't that hard to remember, she'd in fact been some of these people. But what power would help her at this time? She decided on Alexis for a split second decision. She had wolf senses, but not only that, but she had better hearing, and instincts. Maybe instinctively she could find her way out, or even with better hearing that would help. Karmon started the process, trying not to move because that made the tingling even worse, liking having your foot, or arm fall asleep. After Five seconds of the change, Karmon Gathered Alexis's personality and past. She wanted to run, and be free, to smell the outdoors, and see the sunlight through this dark place.
Karmon was able to pick up a muffled calling of other people. She thought it was Spiridon, but these ears heard things differently from her own. Or... did they? Who was she again? Being completely morphed into the person, she had one goal in mind, to get out.
Karmon ran, fallowing the voice, having hope Sear through her As she jumped through the Window, and tried to remember that the air was still tainted with smoke, so she couldnt take a big breathe of relief. Then she backed away cautiously when she saw herself. No.. that wasn't herself. Did she have a twin, she searched her memories. No she didn't. Then she slowly remembered, and shifted back, still disoriented, feeling as if her own body now was all wrong. She still felt like Alexis, so shouldn't she be?

celesteselenemoon  Flames, smoke and...and...and fire! Panic spread through every part of her body, and she had to focus for a moment and allow calm to spread through her body. This was the only good thing that ever happened after the years of being trapped here inside the lab, this new ability of hers. Suddenly, a clink from her cage, and her cage was opened by a scientist, whose eyes were wide, 'get out quickly.' he mouthed to her, before running towards another cage. Finding her way out of the cage was easy, but navigating through falling objects really was a difficult task. She heard the frantic screams of the people around her, and then she felt things falling around her, only narrowly missing her small body. She covered her mouth and nose with her shirt, and fought the involuntary tears that were beginning to fall, and she screamed, "Somebody, anybody, help me!"
Seeing nothing, Celeste proceeded to allow her calmness to spread through the room, to allow sanity to take over so that everyone could get out calmly and efficiently. When she finished channeling her calmness, she felt tired, and kneeled down, only to find a burning pillar on the floor in front of her. Oh crap.

celesteselenemoon Seeing a blonde calling out to her, Celeste forced her head up, through the exhaustion, and saw Alexis, coughing and calling out to her. When she flinched, Celeste saw the flames dancing around Alexis, and Celeste found the will within her to force herself up onto her feet and stumbled forward towards the girl. "Alexis..." She forced out before she managed to force a few steps forward and then stumbled forward towards Alexis. Why was she so tired? Celeste didn't understand why she felt so tired, she had barely used any strength just now, and she hadn't inhaled that much smoke anyways...

Karmon after awhile began to understand that she was Karmon. But it didn't stop her from doing an Alexis move in diving back into the building once she knew she could help. Scientists always carried keys to all the cages. She could easily enough shape shift into him, and unlock the cages. That's exactly what she did, Getting through the tingling feeling was nothing now, compared to the harrassment of images that flooded her mind. She felt like throwing up at the torture, and experiments, but soon she was the Scientist, and those kinds of things seemed natural to her. She now understood a lot of how they gain their powers, and other thing she.... or he(?) Never knew before. She dug into her pocket, knowing the task she must do. This was her work... not it wasn't? Whatever! She yelled at herself. Just get the job done! The Smoke that swirled around her was suffocating, she had little time. She first neared a girl who's name was Alanna, she knew this was the Scientists memories on her unique ability of being a ghost. Therefore she was put in a cage that is unable to travel through. She struggled with finding the right key, going through at least thirty before the key clicked, and the door swung open. "The Exit is that way, through a window." She told Alanna, pointing. Then she moved onto the next person, a boy named Blake with a the ability to control anthers body. She found the key easily this time, and the door opened gratefully. "G- go, th- the e-exit is that w-way." She said, coughing uncontrollably now. She had to get out. Karmon shifted back, not wanting to hold wicked scientist body anymore. Why are all my creations going? I must capture them, and use them more. The wild thought raced through Karmons head, until she own thought interupted. What am i thinking? I'm a creation myself. Right? She thought doubtfully. Contorted by another spasm of coughing. She was now disoriented. Where was i supposed to go again?

Alanna began to panic. There was a fire! A fire! And she of course was in the back of the stupid lab. She looked around watching as people ran past her cage. She wanted to scream at them, but her glass cage disabled her to to so. She tried desperately to go through it, but it didn't work. The cage had been built to keep her in. She hit the cage a couple times, but still nothing worked. Alanna coughed from the smoke she was inhaling. Great. How was she going to get out now? Alanna was determined not to die, no matter what. She rammed her cage one more time only to hurt her shoulder. She snarled in discontent. Could this actually be the end? Alanna's thought stopped when she saw a scientist. Yes! Her cage was unlocked and she darted out not even bothering to thank the man. She looked back and narrowed her eyes. I hope he burns, she thought wickedly. Alanna had no sympathy for those evil people. They were the ones that changed her and all the others in here and now they were getting what they deserved. She dodged falling debris, but reached a dead. Oh great now what? Alanna paced back in forth for a second. Duh! She grew transparent and drifted through the wall. Alanna found herself outside now. The sky was bright and blue up above. A rather deceiving sky to say the least. She quickly made herself solid again and ran around the side of the building. Did the others get out alright? She finally found the Russian siblings. Apollinaris was sitting on the ground and her brother Spiridon was at a window. Oh it was that window. Alanna sat on the ground with Apollinaris. "You okay?" she asked seeing how frightened the girl was.

Blake paced his cage. What was he going to do? The smoke was nearly suffocating him as he coughed. Blake grabbed onto the bars and yanked on them. Gah! Why couldn't he manipulate objects too? He struggled trying pull on them and lost his grip. He was pulling the bars so hard that he flew to the other side of the cage hitting the wall. Ouch! Blake rubbed the back of his head. He coughed and stood back up. Now what? then suddenly a scientist appeared and the cage was opened. Finally! Blake darted out, but saw that the scientist transformed into Karmon. So she helped him? Blake could never understand it but he always felt some weird connection with Karmon. That sounds kinda weird.. He approached her hacking his brains out. "K-Karmon come let's get out of here," he said grabbing her hand and pulling her along.
