❖Personal:
Personality: Feranes is a very driven individual; guided by a sense of honor and nobility, he is a being that attempts to keep his word to the best of his ability. When in combat, he is shown to care greatly for those underneath his command and is a fearless combatant who would give his life to protect his men as well as innocents and allies. He is a skilled tactician and strategist, which allowed him his many victories over the forces of the Old Ones in the past.
As Taros, the Scourge of the World, he was characterized as being quite angry, and far too willing to give in to blind rage at even slight offenses to himself. He cared little for those under him, willing to sacrifice entire legions of orcs and other such creatures in battle, with no real regard for any sort of tactics or strategy whatsoever. Strangely enough, this complete opposite of his former personality may have been what led to the Old Ones' initial success after he was turned into Taros, though it did eventually lead to them losing the war.
After becoming King of the Elves in this universe, Feranes still had problems with his temper and was trained by an unknown being to control his anger-- and therefore control the great dragon Taros, who was revealed to be not an evil entity that Feranes had been turned into, but rather a physical manifestation of his own anger. After learning how to properly control his anger, Feranes has become much more level-headed, and is nearly impossible to anger anymore.
It has been noted that Feranes struggles to comprehend the idea that in this reality, Paranormals such as him are treated as if they are myth and legend, and those humans that are aware of them consider them dangerous or outright evil; this is understandable, considering how long he fought against the Old Ones to protect the fledgling humanity in his universe. He has gone back and forth about his former oath to protect humanity, partly because of how they act in this universe toward magical beings and partly because he now has very important responsibilities as the King of the Fey and as a father, meaning he is often too busy to act as a guardian of humanity anymore, especially with the continuing tensions with the Dark Fey. On this particular subject, Feranes has stated to his wife several times that he is more than willing to seek peace with the Dark Fey should they ever actually want it, though due to the centuries of slavery that the Light Fey endured, it is highly unlikely that they would support any gesture of peace he actually extended, much to his displeasure, so he is stuck with the only option being to keep the status quo of a cold war among the Fey, and keep the Dark Fey at the Far Reaches.
In regards to the Light Fey, Feranes commands extreme respect and loyalty from them, and due to his status as the "Savior of the Fey" (or at least, they associate that significance with him), they obey his word without question. In turn, Feranes is a thoughtful and kind man to all of the Light Fey he encounters personally, and he is quite fond of his adopted people. He is perfectly willing to lay down his own life in the defense of the Light Fey if circumstances ever caused him to choose between doing so and saving his own neck, and they return this level of devotion in kind.

❧Skills, Abilities, and Powers
Skills:
Combat Mastery: Feranes is a master of many forms of armed combat, having been trained by Scathach, a fellow Elder.
Master Tactician and Strategist: Feranes is a natural when it comes to leading armies and winning battles, and this scored him his many, many victories against the Old Ones.
Diplomacy: Feranes was taught how to properly act as the King of the Elves by an unknown being in another plane of existence.
Shapeshifting: The same being who taught Feranes what it meant to be the King of the Elves also taught Feranes how to shapeshift between his normal form and Taros, the great dragon form that he was transformed into by The One. As Taros, he is impervious to offensive magic, though it is possible to circumvent this by using other disciplines, such as charming him and putting him to sleep.
Abilities:
Superhuman Strength: He has strength well beyond that of a human, being able to lift around seventy-five tons on his own, and possibly more if he augments his strength.
Superhuman Durability: Feranes' bodily tissues are much denser than, say, a human's; therefore he is highly resistant to most forms of physical damage and can survive injuries that would normally be fatal to a human being or someone of similar durability.
Superhuman Stamina: Feranes' physiology greatly diminishes the rate at which fatigue toxins build up within his body, allowing him to perform at peak physical capacity for prolonged periods of time.
Superhuman Speed: Feranes' physiology allows him to run at speeds outpacing the finest human specimens.
Superhuman Senses: Feranes' senses are far more acute than a human's.
Immortality: As an Elder, Feranes is immortal to a degree: He does not age and is immune to disease, though he can be killed by external forces.
Natural Magical Ability: Being a creature of quasi-divine nature, Feranes has immense capability when it comes to magical spells, specifically of an offensive nature. This is even more prominent when among other elves, and even later-generation Elders like Serawyn. Feranes comes from a period of time where the Elders were much more powerful due to fighting the Old Ones, and as such, his power is monumental compared to theirs.
Powers:
Arcane Mastery: Feranes is an unrivaled master of offensive magics, and is supremely skilled in several other disciplines as well, making him one of the most powerful beings in the entire Revenant reality.
Limited Weather Control: Feranes has the ability to manipulate the weather to a limited degree, though this is mostly shown when he's angry.
Weaknesses:
High-Order Magic: Being a creature of quasi-divine nature, it's rather difficult to really harm Feranes magically, but it is still possible for very powerful magisters to cause him pain or even kill him.
Enchanted Weapons: Conventional weapons, such as mundane swords, arrows, or bullets, don't do much damage to Feranes because of his physiology. This is negated by enchanted weapons, which can affect him in the same manner mundane weapons affect mortals.
Loss of Control: Despite his training to keep himself in a tranquil state, it is possible for Feranes to lose control of his emotions; the rages that he had in his youth were the stuff of legend, and were the inspiration for the psychotic rages of Cú Chulainn, a character from Irish mythology whom was inspired by Feranes himself. Should Feranes lose control of himself, he can cause a great deal of damage, especially if he morphs into his dragon form.
Technology/Weapons/Paraphernalia:
Excalibur (from the Blood Rush Grounds reality); The blade's properties mirror that of its twin from this universe, for the most part. These abilities include:
Unbreakable: It cannot be broken by mortal or magickal means.
Blade of Light: The blade can be used to summon Light, wield light as blasts or energy, open portals, and kill demons to the point where they no longer exist.
Enchanted Scabbard: The scabbard prevents blood loss of the wearer. It cannot be taken by force. It can be called to Feranes when he is in need of it, along with Excalibur itself.
Healing: The blade can be used to heal extensive wounds.
Owner Attunement: The version of Excalibur that Feranes wields was crafted specifically for him; the blade will not operate properly for anyone apart from Feranes himself. In the BRG reality, Excalibur was lost to time and eventually wound up in the ownership of the King Arthur from that reality, who became its last known owner before Feranes returned. Upon Feranes' return, his version of Excalibur came to him automatically, as soon as it was able to escape from Avalon. In addition to this, Feranes' Excalibur will not or cannot harm him due to this attunement.
History
Feranes comes from the universe of Blood Rush Grounds. Born countless centuries before modern times in that universe, the being known as Feranes was once one of the most powerful of the Elders (a race of gods), and as such was named their Champion to fight against the Old Ones (which also were a race of gods that predated the Elders). He served as a leader of the armies of the Elders, scoring many victories against the Old Ones as the two factions fought over the fate of humanity. Eventually Feranes journeyed to Mount Ravan, a focal point of the Old Ones' power, and never returned. It is not known what happened there, but it was recently discovered that the great dragon that emerged soon after Feranes went to Mount Ravan was in fact Feranes himself, who had been turned into an Old One. It was also discovered that he had had his memories suppressed so that he believed he had always been an Old One.
Taros, as he was now known, terrorized the Earth in the name of a mysterious deity known as The One for several thousand more years, before the Elders returned to fight the Old Ones once again. This next war ended with the Elders withdrawing from Earth once again, but the Old Ones were all put into deep states of hibernation before this happened.
When first encountered in modern times, Taros had been asleep underneath Blood Rush Grounds for millennia. The creation of so many temporal wormholes and the general imbalance of space and time had woken him up, and he was... cranky. He was a very mystically powerful dragon, capable of firing blasts of pure dark energy from his mouth. However, events led to Taros being turned back into back into Feranes. The purpose of this transformation is unknown, and Feranes has stopped thinking about it for some time now.
At the end of the final war with the Old Ones, a treaty was signed: Feranes would have to leave the universe of Blood Rush Grounds, and the Old Ones would at last leave the mortal realm alone forever. However, a connection between this realm and the realm known as Tir Na nOg (a realm that housed the Elders) was still allowed. Serawyn, the daughter of first-generation Elder Cernunnos (who ruled over Tir Na nOg), had fallen in love with Feranes, and elected to go with him as he had found a realm separate from Tir Na nOg that he could reside in-- the Revenant reality.
After their arrival in the Revenant reality several years ago, Feranes and Serawyn encountered the Fey Realm, where creatures similar to the Elders made their homes. At the time, the realm was dominated by the Unseelie, or Dark Fey, who had the Light Fey, or Seelie (whom Feranes and Serawyn resembled) magically bound to them and kept in slavery. Unaware of this, Feranes and Serawyn sought asylum with the Dark Fey. The Dark Fey's council, known as an Enclave, attempted to perform the same magical binding to the Elders that had entered their realm so as to steal their powers. But they greatly underestimated the magical abilities of Feranes and Serawyn, whom not only protected themselves from the spell, but the dual-charm they cast wound up breaking the Unseelie's hold over the Light Fey as well, giving the Light Fey freedom for the first time in centuries.
The Light Fey rallied around their new saviors, and Feranes organized the race into an army to combat the Dark Fey. The superb generalship of Serawyn and Feranes proved enough to defeat the Dark Fey, whom were banished to the furthest reaches of the Fey Realm after months of civil war (which in turn devastated the mortal realm through extreme weather anomalies, though Feranes was initially unaware of this). After the war was ended and with the rule of the Dark Fey over at long last, the Light Fey proclaimed Feranes and Serawyn their new leaders (in accordance to an apparent prophecy foretelling the coming of the savior of the Fey, whom the Light Fey assumed Feranes was).
After becoming the Elven King in the Revenant reality, Feranes encountered beings such as Semyaza and Nightshade, both of whom attempted to anger him to the point of declaring war. As a result of his still-present temperament, Feranes was whisked to a higher plane of existence by an unknown being and was trained to control his anger-- and as a result, he could transform freely into Taros and back again, as the great dragon was actually a physical manifestation of his own anger. After this, he decided to remain in the Realm of the Fey with his wife, attempting to live in peace unless he was needed by mortals. During this time Feranes fathered two children with Serawyn-- Twins, by the names of Tristan and Kaie.
At present, the most notable action Feranes has undertaken in the mortal realm is a meeting of several representatives of the Revenant's supernatural races, despite the fact that Feranes has not actually joined the faction. This meeting was sabotaged by a being that attempted to cause havoc by flooding the meeting with Dark Magic. This magic overwhelmed Feranes and turned him back into Taros involuntarily, and while he struggled to regain control of himself Serawyn came to his aid and eventually managed to revert him back to normal. Deeply shaken by this turn of events, Feranes went back to his kingdom and continues dealing with the Dark Fey, who seem to want to antagonize him and dispute his leadership over the realm that was once in their control.
