Sky had bought a room for the night. She didn't know where she was going to go for the next night or the next. The family even almost turned her away. Had she not revealed she was one of them they would have. What was she going to do? She couldn't work the same job. She need new housing at this rate. She would get all her answers when who ever came for her. For now she curled into a ball and cried.

Show Me How To Lie....
Pyry departed as soon as they reached the inn. The spirit had tagged along mostly to ensure that the other went to the right place, as well as ensure that his hand was well looked after; he had insisted on stopping at a pharmacy along the way to purchase burn cream and bandages. He had to return to Mizuki to ensure that she knew he was okay, as well as explain what had happened should she wish to know. He had wished his brother luck as he stepped into the inn, who proceeded to walk past the check in counter as if he knew exactly where he was going. Which, in all truth, he did; the man had seen where his girlfriend would go, and followed his vision all the way to the appropriate room number. He raised his hand to knock, stopping when he saw the bandages completely covering his palm and most of his fingers and thumb. Instead, he raised the other to knock on the door. "Sky? Sky, it's me." he called, his voice carrying through the cracks around the edges. Hopefully, she would answer and they could sort this out.

Sky had fallen asleep after crying for a bit. She flipped from her back to her front and hid her head in her pillows. She didn't want to look like a wuss who would cry. No amount of sleep could hide something like puffy eyes. "Come in." She called out with a tired voice. She knew Adney's voice by heart. she had heard it every day for six months. On the stand next to her was her wallet and the pregnancy test that she used to find out she was pregnant before confirming it with the doctor.

Pushing open the door, he stepped inside and closed it behind him. He looked at her, he could tell that she'd been crying but chose not to mention it, before moving across the room. He had briefly scanned the room before entering, as he did before entering any room, and had taken notice of the pregnancy test on the stand. He pulled a small brown drawstring bag from his coat pocket, setting it on the stand by her wallet and the test. "Rye asked me to give this back." he explained, raising his now empty hand to comb his bangs from his face. "I think we need to talk. About this," he pulled the box she had shoved in his hand earlier and set that on the stand as well, "As well as that." he indicated the pregnancy test laying on the counter, letting his hand fall so he could slip the coat from his back. His right hand was bandaged completely, the clean white bandages wrapped halfway to his elbow. "You're pregnant." it wasn't a question, as he had seen nearly every outcome of her decision. He figured he might as well start with the biggest matter at hand.

Sky heard him start to talk to her. There was a lot that they needed to talk about. Sky flipped onto her back and took the pillow with her. She didn't want Adney to see her face. "So much." The woman responded back. Her voice was kind of soft compared to normal. "Yeah. I'm pregnant. I don't know what gender it is. I wont know until I'm twenty weeks." She told her boyfriend. Her stomach was still very flat because she was still at the beginning stages.

His coat landed in a pile on the floor, and he moved to sit on the edge of the bed. Carefully, he rested his injured hand on his lap. "I know what gender it is. I even know what it will look like." he responded, turning just enough so that he could look at her. "Or rather, what it could be. The vision kept changing. You kept changing your mind, and the vision was trying to keep up. Then it gave up, and it showed me coming here. I think it was trying to tell me that, whatever happens, it will be decided here." he was still looking at her, knowing she was trying to hide her face. "I need you to tell me, quite blatantly, what it is you want. Don't think about what your family wants, or what my brothers want. Not even what I want." he needed to know that much before they talked about marriage or abortion or whatever else.

The fingers that gripping her pillow now loosened and it then wrapped around her belly. "I want to have the baby, but there is no way that I can do it alone. If I don't have support of the people around me then I'll have to give up the child." She told Adney that she did want to keep it. The life inside her was important to her, but she didn't want to bring it into a time that she couldn't give it the world. "I also don't ever want to be too far from you. Even if we don't work out I still want to live next door so that way we aren't taking the child more than the other." She answered him. Abortion to her was only an option if she couldn't take care of the child.

Show Me How To Lie....
Accepting this answer, he gave a short nod to communicate such. He paused a few minutes to think, the options narrowing down. The vision was still fresh in his mind, and he absently felt along his injured arm with his good hand to examine the damage. It hurt terribly, but he was grateful that he could feel at all. He was starting to regret, however, refusing the idea of pain medication when Rye had suggested it. "Do you actually want to marry me or is it just because of the baby?" it was a question he wasn't totally sure that he would be able to ask, but he knew he had to. "I'll help you support it. I'll move somewhere where you could live next door, though I won't be quitting my job at Reed's." he could convince Cam to give him the transporter he'd bought a few years ago, knowing the other man could just buy a new one. "But I can't marry someone who doesn't want to get married for us."

Sky wasn't sure how to answer that. Maybe she was foolish to ask, but that didn't mean her own feelings weren't true to her love for Adney. "I do love you." She answered him. "You're the first guy who I cursed and insulted and yet we still ended up together." She commented with a giggle. It was five years until their second date. "You were the first one who I let see my room and my body. If I said I didn't love you that would be a total lie." She answered him. "My actions were part fear of losing you and part because of the baby. If you don't want to get married that is fine, just don't push me away." She stated her honest feelings. She sat up removing her pillow. He probably knew anyways. "I don't want you to give up anything. I just want you to have more. If you quit your job because of me then you're a no good boyfriend and I'd dump you." She added. That was something that she would keep her word.

Show Me How To Lie....
The teacher couldn't help but smile a bit as she spoke, relief evident on his features. It was a nice thing to hear, that she loved him, and he was glad that it wasn't only because of the baby. They could raise the kid even without a marriage, and he had known plenty of people who had turned out fine even without their parents married. "I'm not quitting my job." he reassured her, shaking his head. That definitely wasn't going to happen, not in this lifetime. "I wouldn't be giving anything up by marrying you. It would just be speeding things along a bit." it was an answer he was fairly sure of, knowing full well that even if they didn't have the baby, they very well might have gotten married in the future. "But I do have one more important question." it was something he needed to know, something that very well may make or break the possibility of marriage. "Do you hate my brothers?"

Sky thought for a moment. Today's events were probably troublesome to the group. "No." She answered after a thought. She took a moment to think more. "I don't really hate them. I think there is some things that need to be fixed. I understand that Cam and you been through a lot, but what he did today was a little extreme. At the same time we kind of have him to thank for the baby." She answered about Cam's reaction. If the younger brother didn't give the older one encouragement then who knows what would have happened. "Pyry and I have our differences, but it's getting better slowly. I don't like it when he raises his voice, but he's still a good guy. He even protected us today."

His expression shifted as she spoke, his lips pursed as he thought. "Pyry only ever raised his voice to you once." he pointed out, understanding why it had happened. It seemed that Sky was the sort that wasn't very forgiving. "And Cam.... you kind of struck a nerve on that one." his mind moved quickly now, trying to figure out the best way to phrase this. "Right before Rye and I decided to come to Reed's, Cam's girlfriend at the time was pregnant. He chose to stay behind to help support her, and she kept pushing him about marriage. He was hesitant about it, finally deciding that it would be best to wait until after the baby was born." he paused, taking a breath before continuing. "Once it was born, though... it was pretty obvious it wasn't his. He found out that she had been pushing to get married because she didn't know if it was his or not and she wasn't sure if the other man she had been seeing would support them." he had been looking away from her, down at his injured hand and he refused to look up. "I'm guessing he just saw the similarities and.... snapped. He really can't control himself or the flames when he gets mad. It's part of the reason he tries so hard to be upbeat."

"Still scared me, but I think that I'm over the Pyry issue." Sky pointed out about Pyry. She listened to her boyfriend about his younger brother. He didn't want to get in the way of them and that was the main reason she withdrew from the idea. "You're brother has issues. It's great that he worries about you, because being family is something that is way more important that friendship. If I didn't have my brother and sister I would be a total wimp, but at the same time he did over react. You're the only guy that I ever slept with and you know that. Mr. Cherry-popper." Her face soon had a blush and a smile. "I don't know if I could be near him for a while. Not without speaking my mind and probably pissing him off again." She warned. She let go of the pillow and moved closer to Adney. The blond woman wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. It was her sign that she was going to try to do her best.

Well, at least one brother wasn't blacklisted. "We all have issues." he pointed out, wrapping his good arm around her. "But unless you try to kill Rye or one of his bandmates or I, I don't think you'll make him angry again. He's usually very easy going." he sighed, his bad arm resting carefully in his lap. He knew that he was the only guy she'd ever slept with. "I was a bit surprised it happened, actually. I think between the stress of being a celebrity, the way you chose to handle the whole thing, and then the vision he just snapped. We weren't meant to be magical, and with his crazy ability, it really takes a toll." he leaned his head against the top of hers, an attempt to show that he wasn't angry with her. "Look on the bright side. He'll probably buy you something expensive to show that he's sorry." it was a bit of a joke, but he had seen the expression on his brother's face before he left; there was bound to be a bit of self loathing there, and he wondered where the redhead intended to go.
