Mostly the bad dreams, but I sometimes remember the weird and good dreams.

The most recent one I remember is my friend David getting murdered ._.
I remember this one of aliens visiting my school and taking people with them to their mother ship. Then this chubby redneck with a beer belly came in and told us all that he knew the way to end the apocalypse and that we should all follow him. Probably the most vivid dream I've ever remembered.

I remember something like that in one of my dreams, we also went in a helicopter but instead of zombies, it was like child-sized Pyramid Heads with spearheads for hands. I got stabbed in the neck in the back seat of the helicopter and I woke up.

Me too. I always wake up too scared to fall back asleep again.
Last night my dream was that my house was about to explode and my dad and I were trying to get all of the stuff we could manage before it blew, but my ex-stepmom was also there helping us pack (weird) and she drove us away in a van while my dad said he would catch up with us in his truck, but as we drove away I saw the house explode while he was still inside, so when we reached our destination (my camping trailer...?) I like prayed to God or something to turn back time and let me have a chance to save him, so I guess time was turned back and I was able to save him, then I got this certificate randomly saying that God really existed and I signed it in gold ink. Then the two main Chemistry teachers from my school, Mrs. Saylor and Mrs. Alvator, showed up and their classes had to re-build this old castle that we had our classes in, so it was a contest to see who could do it better or something.

It was...really, really weird.

According to this one website, this is what it means that my dream was sort of focused around an explosion.

Explosion
To see explosions in your dream symbolize your repressed anger. The rage that you have been holding in has come to the surface in a forceful and violent manner. Your subconscious is trying to get your attention.

Father
To see your father in your dream symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant. Consider also your waking relationship with your father and how aspects of his character may be incorporated within yourself.

To dream that your father is dead forewarns that you need to proceed with caution in conducting some business matter.

To dream that you are hitting your father represents a desperate need for greater closeness with your father. You feel that he is not listening to you. In particular, if you are hitting your father with a rubber object indicates that whatever you are doing or telling him has no significant effect on him. Things literally just bounce off him. Conversely, if you dream that your father is the one beating you, then it implies a lack of emotional connection with your father.

To dream that your father is angry at you indicates that you are doing something that he may disapprove. The dream may also be a projection of your own anger towards him. There are some unresolved issues that need to be worked out.

To dream that your father has a girlfriend or mistress, even though he is still married to your mother implies that you are feeling disconnected with one of your parents. The dream may also be a commentary on your own views of marriage.

Stepmother
To see your stepmother in your dream suggests that you are trying to cope with a mothering figure in your life. You are either feeling smothered or neglected. If you do not have a stepmother in real life, then the dream may represent some unresolved issues and tension with your actual mother. Or the dream could be a pun that you or someone is "stepping" all over your mother. Show her some appreciation and compassion for all the work that she does.

The weird thing is, I haven't lived with a mother figure in my life in years. My dad is my 'mother figure'.
As for the bold part in the Father meaning, I've had that dream before too. We were standing in our living room arguing and I started punching him in the stomach. I woke up very, very scared and sad that morning...

I don't have many strange dreams of my own, but one time my sister dreamed she lived in a post apocalyptic world where there was a zombie mailman with a huge tumor on his face that ate a kitten.
