God calls us out of our comfort zones to do His work. For when we are out of our comfort zones we must rely fully on Him.

God told Moses to go outside of His comfort zone when He told him to speak before Pharaoh.

Then Moses said, "What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say? For they may say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.'" The LORD said to him, "What is that in your hand?" And he said, "A staff." Then He said, "Throw it on the ground." So he threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. But the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand and grasp  it  by its tail"-so he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand- "that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you." Then Moses said to the LORD, "Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of
speech and slow of tongue." The LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes  him  mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say." But he said, "Please, Lord, now send  the message  by whomever You will." Exodus 4:1-5, 10-13

Yet Moses kept giving excuse after excuse to not pop his comfort zone bubble.

Then the Lord's anger burned against Moses and he said, "What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him. But take this staff in your hand so you can perform the signs with it." Exodus 4:14-17

When we refuse to come out of our comfort zones we can miss out on all the blessings God has for is.

There are several...

Like doing something productive. Or finishing my work early/on time.
I usually want to sit around and play video/computer games, and many times I end up doing that. Then I realized that I'm never going to get anywhere if I don't try to end my procrastination habit.

Standing up for people and being myself. I used to be someone who almost always followed the crowd, was really quiet, and did what everyone else is doing. Being against the mainstream media and trying to see different than what others are seeing is something I'm trying to work on. I think God wants me to learn how to socialize and try to be someone who's kind of a leader.
