When Rin had given word for Sasha to lead the way, Sasha had been all-too-eager to do so. She'd twirled, hopped, skipped and bounced her way out of the main building. When she wore her bracelet it was like everything in the world looked a little brighter, felt a little warmer. Like... at any moment something entirely too exciting and amazing could happen. It was the best feeling in the world. As they neared a nice, secluded spot on the sandy beach, Sasha laughed happily. "I know you texted Jerry, but I'm going to text him too!" Sasha sing-songed, whipping out her phone so that she could messily send her boyfriend a text. Bilious Text to Jerry: We're at the beach, and we made SANDWICHES (: (: (: (: (: (: (: (: <3 <3 We found you a suit and a towel. Go straight from the main bldg, turn left and keep walking until you find us!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Rin nodded at Sasha before setting down her load, placing it all in one big heap between them before she started to peel her clothes off again, revealing the green bikini underneath. She folded her clothing carefully into one neat pile she sat beside the towels and lunch.
"Wanna wait till he gets here before we start swimming?"

"Well."
Suddenly the thought of swimming didn't sound too great for two reasons.
A) She'd never really been swimming in the ocean before, and she'd certainly never worn a skin-tight one-piece suit, and
B) Her hair. Just thinking about having to deal with the sodden mass was enough to dampen her happies.
"Well."
She had a few options.
"Maybe we can just wade a bit. I mean, I love the beach," she'd never been to a real beach, "and I love swimming," in creeks, small ponds and the like, "but I don't love having to deal with all of this haaaaaair."
She gave a thoughtful hum.
"What do you think?"

"Wading is fine," Rin smiled.
"Common, lemme see you in that bathing suit!" she cheered at Sasha before patiently and hopefully waiting.

"I.. I don't know."
Sasha fussed briefly with her bracelet before removing her jacket and setting it aside. Shoes came next.
Aw, what the heck.
"You know what, you're right. Help me braid my hair first! Do you think I should get it cut? I mean, I love my hair - it's long and pretty and my papa loved it, but.. it gets in the way so much. Like, soooo much!"

Rin looked thoughtful before smiling.
"I don't know Sasha, that's really up to you. I bet you'd look amazing no matter what you did," she immediately winced. That was going too far wasn't it? She frowned to herself.
"But.. I'll help braid it no problem, keep your hair nice and safe from the water. I swear I wont even splash you~"

Sasha beamed at Rin's compliment. It probably should have been awkward, but... it wasn't.
The bracelet chimed as Sasha shifted.
"Thanks, Rin. You're.. well. You're so amazing."
Sasha immediately presented her back.
"No splashing!" She giggled madly. "I bet the water is freezing. It'll be so refreshing!"

"Mmmhmmm~" Rin hummed as she set to work on Sasha's hair braiding it quickly but carefully.
"You're amazing too Sasha," there was a soft smile on her face she couldn't seem to shake as she worked.

When Rin started humming, Sasha did too, stopping every now and again to giggle. The diamond on the bracelet caught the sun, and Sasha paused to admire the way the stone glittered, a myriad of colors.
"Today really is the very, very best day, Rin."

"Really? Any specific reason?" Rin asked, thoroughly tempted to hum a song for the rest of her time braiding.

Sasha shrugged.
"Just everything. The sun, the sandwiches, the bracelet, the company. The beach! All of it. I haven't been this happy in... a long, long, long time."

"Really?" Rin questioned sounding... very unbelieving. Still she smiled and settled into the braiding calmly. Deciding to give in and start humming again but this time clearly some unfamiliar tune. Melodic but sweet in nature.

When Rin started humming once more, Sasha picked up the tune again, bouncing in time. "Are you almost doooooone? I'm ready to go swimming!" She sounded almost like a child. "And then beachcombing, and sandwiches, and -- oh, we should have told Jerry to bring his guitar and my flute so that we could all sing together!! Wouldn't that have been the best? I might just.. can we text him again?" She didn't wait for a response before she leaned away from Rin so that she could grab her phone from her jacket. Rin stopped her humming as she looped Sasha's braid through a scrunchy so it was held high on her head and hopefully out of the way, "There... all up and ready to go swimming now."
Rin nodded even though Sasha already was firing off a text, "Ready to get wet?"

Sasha tossed her phone onto her towel and jacket, nodding brightly.
"I'm.. I've never like.. been in a real bathing suit before so. I'm kind of nervous!" She gave a little laugh. "But it's good to try new things! Right?"
Sasha cleared her throat. She didn't sound convinced.
