Sasha was skipping - yes, skipping - down the hallway to Rin's room. It was pretty exciting. She had to hop over rubble, and by the time she'd made it to Rin's room, Sasha had turned it into sort of a game. A really excellent game! Every time her bracelet jingled, Sasha giggled.
"Room one-ninety-nine," Sasha sing-songed, stopping in front of the closed door. She didn't knock, merely turned the handle and strolled in like she owned the place.
"Rin! It's me!"

Rin promptly sat up in her bed, twisting her blankets around herself like a massive cocoon as she gave the other woman a bewildered stare.
"S-Sasha?! Hi? Uh... Hi? What are you... uh..."

Sasha blinked a few hundred times in rapid succession before lifting her brows at Rin.
"You're sleeping!" It wasn't a question. "Why?! It's so nice out. I think we should celebrate. And.. you know, you're like my best girlfriend - I mean that like, a girl - a girl who is also my friend - on the island -- anyway, LOOK AT THIS."
A slender wrist immediately shot out.
"Jerry got it for me. Isn't it so amazing? And! He promised he wouldn't drink. That's amazing too, don't you think? There are a lot of amazing things going on around here."
Sasha made a flawless pirouette.
"Get out of bed!"

"Uhh... I was just taking a nap." but her words were soft and quickly fell to silence as Sasha went off on some strange hyper tangent.
Ah... a bracelet? Is that all that has her acting so strange?
She smiled feebly at Sasha, "Sasha... dear... that's lovely and all but I can't presently get out of bed. Not with you looking."

"That's ridiculous. Come on, up, up! We should go to the beach! It's sunny there. Jerry went to the bunkers to get the rest of my stuff. And his stuff."
Sasha waited.
"I want to have a picnic!"

"Well, if you insist." Rin personally didn't care too much about it so she tossed the covers off herself and slid out of bed over towards her clothes and proceeded to get dressed. Yes. She was butt naked under those covers.
"A picnic sounds lovely, we can make sandwiches. That is, if you feel like sandwiches?"

Sasha kept babbling.
"Yes! Sandwiches. But, Jerry is going to be there too, I mean, if you don't want him to have your sandwiches I can make him some Rin why are you NAKED."
Sasha turned her back.
"Anyway, I can make him some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or something if you don't want to share your sandwiches with him. I've missed the sun! Haven't you missed the sun? It's just. So. Amazing."

Rin smirked idly to herself at Sasha's questioning of her nudity but she chose not to answer until fully dressed and wrapping her scarf about her neck loosely.
"I tend to sleep naked~ no big deal." there was a clear hint of laughter to her tone.
"He could this time I guess but a sandwich by you would mean more, I think." she flashed Sasha a smile.
"Maybe before eating we can go swimming?"

Sasha hazarded a glance over her shoulder, and upon seeing Rin completely dressed, she twirled to face the other woman.
"Do you think the water is too cold? I don't have a bathing suit. I don't even think I have shorts, do you think the ... what is it called? The quarterman? Maybe he has some I can buy or something. I haven't been swimming in a long time. Swimming is pretty great."
Everything was great.
"Everything is so amazing. I'm so glad your room isn't ruined. Are you going to let someone bunk with you? I mean, someone who lost their room? I would, but Jerry's there and he seemed pretty happy that I was going to let him stay."
Sasha took a breath.
"What kind of sandwiches do you want to make? I just love sandwiches. I could make Jerry a sandwich. I bet he loves sandwiches, too. He's so sweet, Rin. I'm glad my room is safe. I'm glad your room is safe too."

Wow, what was up with her, this went a lil beyond the high of a new gift, "You uh... sure you hadn't had a lil n** of sommin' sommin'?" Tipsy would certainly explain it.
She frowned slightly though before attempting to slowly climb the mountain of questions she had offered, "Well, I bathed in it when it was cloudy so the sun should help it a bit, I think the quartermaster does, no one has asked to bunk with me, he's what?, and I... I'm glad too?"
Se was starting to look concerned.

Sasha looked baffled by Rin's concern. With each passing second, Sasha was just feeling... happier. Happier and happier. There was no explaining it, but Sasha merely attested it to the fact that the dorms were back in relatively working order, and that was something worth feeling happy over.
Joyful, even.
"Sorry. I'm just... I have a good feeling about all of this. I mean, people who lost their rooms are ... they're upset, but like. There's so many happy people, too! It's just wonderful. Everything is."
She tilted her head to the side.
"Don't you think?"

"Err... ... yeah, I guess." Rin reached out to gently pet Sasha on the shoulder, "You sure you've not eaten or drunk anything after the bird fight that might be... unusual?"
Her brows raised as she forced a little concerned smile to her face, "Im just making sure is all."

Sasha huffed, dimming slightly.
Just slightly, and then the wattage was turned up to eleven.
"Don't be worried. And don't worry! Everything is going to be great."
Sasha gave Rin a hug.

Rin was hugged and after the initial startled jerk slipped her arms around Sasha and pat her on the back.
"Eh.. about those sandwiches and getting a bathing suit?"
Hopefully whatever it was was temporary and Sasha would be fine as it worked its way out of her system... right?

Sasha twirled her way towards Rin's door.
"And you shouldn't sleep naked," Sasha said quietly, "what if there's an emergency! Maybe we should get you some pajamas."
