It was a typical weekday afternoon in Moonfall, where cafe's and little restaurants were mildly filled with customers who had the luxury of a long lunch break, or having the day off. A light buzzing of idle chatter amongst groupings filled the air, as did the cries of birds overhead, wheels churning, and shoes clicking. For Paviella, she was one of the lucky folk to have a day off. This wasn't uncommon for her though. The witch quite enjoyed having days to relax and gather herself from the hustle and bustle of work that she was committed to. This wasn't to say she disliked her job, no no, but an artist needed some time to step away from their work, yes? Of course.
And so she walked casually down the cobblestone sidewalk, sparing glances into windows, and at those who passed her way. Sweet smiles would be given in return, chestnut brown gaze grabbed by the sounds of televisions in a few window's spewing information on products sold in the stores they belonged to. None really took her fancy.
Her intentions were to visit a cafe and have a drink and maybe something to nibble on before heading to a fabric shop she usually visited. But there were so many cafe's! Which to choose...

Keiskei huffed to himself and thought hard to see if he’d forgotten anything. Looking down at the packs of bottles and potion ingredients that lay out before him on the table. Everything seemed to be accounted for. He quickly tied the packs securely and stuffed anything he’d need for the short journey to the town of Moonfall into his large backpack.
“Oh dear,” Nunna, his adoptive parent chided stepping near, “Don’t forget to bring your lunch! And…you packed that little contact book of yours right? – for the apothecary you’re going to?” Her eyes crinkled as she said this. His mummy never failed to look out for him.
Keiskei sighed, “Yes Nunna I did.” He quickly grabbed the little black booklet from within the hidden pocked on one of his robe sleeves and showed it to her. “No worries! And I promise to bring you back those nice little coffee-flavored muffins that you like!”
“I know dear,” She smiled and gave him a small peck to his cheek in goodbye. ”Be safe.”
The Druid soon waved goodbye to his adoptive parent and set out for Moonfall.
Breathing deeply, Keiskei smiled. Anytime he went to the town he couldn’t help but feel more than a little excited. He rarely ever went there to sell his potions and salves. However every time he’d gone he’d always had a chance to learn something new and see things he’d never seen before. Not to mention…the muffins in the Cafes were awfully good. Expensive but really good!
Whistling to himself, he quickly made his way down the Forest pathways and straight into Moonfall. Another adventure begins! He thought to himself in anticipation before mentally adding a note to himself to visit a Café for some lunch. He’d apparently forgotten to pack his lunch even if Nunna had reminded him just before he left. Damn.

Continuing her leisurely stroll, the witch let her eager gaze dart from cafe to cafe, deliberating which to choose. They all had various themes; a jungle theme, a desert theme, a more classy theme, a laid back theme, etc. This meant different sorts of drinks and food at each one! What was she in the mood for..?
She stopped somewhat in the center of the large pedestrian walk of town, a hip popped to the side, with one arm folded across her chest, the other propped on the forearm of it, so a finger could tap at her chin. So many choices... so many choices! Some soup sounded nice, with a cool drink... or maybe a cookie with a warm drink... It was mild outside, a playful breeze rolling by from time to time... However her attention was stolen by something else entirely. In her pondering, and wandering eyes, she spied a gentleman walking just a few paces off from her, in a very curious get-up. Naturally, the tailoring side of her activated, and her eyes were inspecting the garb quite thoroughly; as best as she could from her distance. My what an intricate and interesting design. What sort of fabric was that? With a very complimenting colour scheme. The guy seemed to know what he was doing! A smile spread along her lips, arms lowering to her side, as she made her way over to him. Once close enough, at his side, she piped up casually, "Hello there sir~ Forgive my forwardness, but I simply had to ask about your attire. That robe caught my eye from afar! What is it made of?" she asked, eyes once again running along the long folds and draping.

Keiskei finally made it into Moonfall an hour or so later. It had been a long hard trek and he’d gotten a bit of sweat from the journey. He wiped off the excess of moisture with a small towel obtained from his packs and then made sure all the clinging debris of the walk was taken out of his person. Can’t do to make a bad impression on the Apothercary he was going to be selling his wares at. Not to mention the last time he went in to a Café and bought the muffins without cleaning himself had been horrible. Now he had more respect for what Vagabonds have to go through to get some decent service.
Entering the town proper, he smiled and couldn’t help but dart his eyes around at all the sights, sounds and smells of the large never-sleeping town of Moonfall. Such grandness!
Keiskei’s eyes quickly fell to the shops along the streets. Ah! He was actually in the right entryway to the town for once! The exact place where the Cafes he’d needed to visit to get some decent muffins were.
Quickly rearranging his packages better on his body, he jauntily made his way down the bright shops and the enticing smell of freshly brewed coffee.
Keiskei was suddenly halted by the sudden appearance of a well-mannered young lady greeting him. How very odd. Her hair seemed to be in different colors. The Druid’s head tilted at the question asked about his robes and looked down on what he was wearing. Huh? How weird…she thought to look at my clothes first. But first things first….
“Ah.” The petal-haired Druid started, “Why is your hair different colors?” Keiskei asked totally forgetting the fact that the girl had asked him a question earlier with the burning curiosity of the oddly colored hair bouncing around in his thoughts.
Keiskei then walked around the young lady examining her hair from different angles. “Is it your natural color? Does it run in your family? Why these certain set of colors? Certainly not for camouflage….” Adjusting his glasses for a better look, peering in and ever nearer, totally ignoring the lady’s personal space.

Paviella's eyes were glued on that robe with obvious interest. Was it handmade? By him? Her gaze darted to his hands as if for confirmation. Usually a fellow tailor had slightly rough finger pads.. but it was hard to see what with all the stuff he was carrying. Thus, she gained no information in that sense. But no matter! Not at all minding the close proximity, too engrossed with his outlandish attire, she let a hand reach out to gently brush the back of a single finger along some of the loose fabric that hung from his arms. My, it was quite fine, and fair~ Very pale, with the subtlest hint of a blush. How precious.
Smiling softly on her lovely lips, the witch was surprised to be pelted with questions towards herself. Looking up to the spectacle covered eyes, for as long as she could before he went on his inspecting fit, she giggled softly, "Well now, it's rude to ignore a ladies question, you know~" she teased lightly, peeking over her shoulder at him, as he took a closer look, "I'll answer yours if you answer mine, how about that?" of course she had no issue telling him her reasoning of hair colours, but... she was feeling a bit playful, and after all she had instigated him first. Common courtesy. So she waited, hands folded behind her back, a hip popped to the side, "Is it silk? Or perhaps cotton? It looks to be a somewhat heavy fabric. Or is it a combination?" she mimicked his round of questioning, just for fun, to see how he would react.

Oh, how rude of him. He’d totally forgotten that she’d asked a question. What was it again? ---Something about his robes right? Yeah that was it.
Keiskei peered down at the shorter lady with the multi-hued hair and found that she’d somehow gained purchase on a part of his robes and was diligently examining it. Keiskei knew his robes weren’t exactly normal wear, even back at his Druid Enclave. Nunna had unearthed a few precious rare books back when she had been studiously trying to decode the message. A message she’d found along with the mysterious crying baby she’d gained from the Grave of Fairies Forest. Keiskei had read quite a few of those back when he was younger and trying to discover more about his origins. The robes had been a side effect of that search for his identity and he wore them out of respect and a little feeling of connection from he had probably come from.
The young Druid had bothered and pestered the few Druids who could tolerate his presence and eventually learned how to grow some cotton plants and how to harvest silk from wild silkworms. The weaving and sewing was another matter though but he wasn’t surprised to find that Nunna knew all about it. She’d used her crafting skills to raise him after all. Over the years he had tried to sew some of the robes on his own and got more than a few needle pricks for his trouble. Nowadays he still grew some of the raw materials but for the actual tailoring he had other druids or clothiers in the cities to make them for him.
"I'll answer yours if you answer mine, how about that?" Keiskei heard her say, and tilted his head in wonder. That seemed fair and it would certainly assuage his curiosity about her odd hair colors.
The Druid hummed underneath his breath as she guessed at his material choices and grinned and her surprisingly astute guesses.
“You’re quite right multi-colored haired Miss!” He announced, “The other robes are a blend of cotton and silk, with a heavier part of cotton weave. The inner robes--,”He raised his hands and showed her the inner robes underneath the outer gray robes,” – are entirely made of silk.”
“Now, about your hair….” Keiskei trailed off, and raised an inquisitive brow.

Smiling as sweetly as possible, her weight shifted to one side, to show she wasn't really going anywhere without an answer. The fabric looked rather durable, yet it wasn't stiff looking like most strong materials. Perhaps she could nab some of this stuff to use sometime!
When the druid went on to confirm her assumption, she beamed a little more, leaning closer for a better look, and stroking along the exterior of the sleeve when it was raised. She even gave a little feel to the inside one, humming softly in approval, "How lovely~ I do so like it!" she praised, looking back up to him, "A very good choice for such a robe like this!" who ever made it obviously knew what they were doing.
Ah, but now it was her turn to give information. It was an exchange, after all. Retracting her hand, but keeping her attention poised on the garb, the returned hand idly fiddled with the loose hanging strands of her hair, "Can't say there's too much mystery to it. I was just born it this way~" she grinned, twirling some of the teal around her fingers, lacing it through, "Do you like it?" she asked with a wry smile, and a harmless little wink in play.
