Leon stretched out upon the small lounge chair he in. It was a typical slow day and the Pockettu showed no signs of leaving the welcoming shade of a nearby tree. "I'm really thankful they set up a small park in the solarium...", a content sigh escaped his lips as he gazed up at the passing clouds above.
---
It was a beautiful summer day. The birds were spinning music out of the wind, and the clouds were taking the forms of small cuddly animals. It was a good day. Miranda was resting on a large branch of a tree enjoying the sun but staying away from the bugs. A solarium was the perfect blend.
"I'm really thankful they set up a small park in the solarium..."
Quickly realizing that she wasn't alone, she snapped out of her daze.
"Hey you!" She poked her head over the side and peered down at a boy below. When did he get there? "What are you doing under my tree?" She tilted her head to the side slightly in question.
---
Leon blinked and sat up when he heard someone yell. It took him a moment to realize where the voice was coming from and glanced up into the tree to see a woman. "A-ah... well... I don' t think this is your tree, ma'am... It belongs to no one." He frowned a bit. "Can't we share?"
---
"But I was here first! The laws of the playground are firm about that!" She paused and smiled softly. "Besides, I like this tree. It has good stories."
Realizing that she was being rude and hadn't even introduced herself, Miranda made her way down the tree in a graceful but brisk manner. Brushing off non-existent dirt from her self, she smiled. "I'm Miranda, what's your name?"
---
Well, she was right. First come, first served. There were other trees around, it shouldn't be too hard to find one, even though this one was really nice. Leon sighed a bit and got up from his chair and blinked. "Oh, it's nice to meet you Miranda. I'm Leon." He extended his hand for a hand shake, smiling at her. "Not to sound rude or like I'm hitting on you or anything... but... are you an angel of some sort? You have wings... I've never seen anyone with wings before."
---
Miranda's mouth dropped agape, ruining the professional handshake she was exchanging before."You haven't seen anyone with wings before? Well now you have!" She raised her arms in a casual Ta-da! pose. "But I'm not an angel, silly. I like to refer to myself as a nature spirit..."
"Even though I'm clearly a person. But shhh, I can be anything I want to be!" A childlike grin spread across her face. "So what about you, Leon. What do you want to be?"
---
Leon blinked a few times as he watched her. She was certainly different than most Pockettu he had met within his owner's collection. She was a lot nicer, and seemed fun to be around. "A nature spirit, huh? That's cool." He thought for a moment. "I'd want to be a bird, so I could fly among the clouds." He smiled. "It's a bit cliche, I know..."
---
Honey brown eyes blinked in thought, flying... "Well that's not something I can manage right away, but I'm sure we could figure it out somehow! If it's cliche, it's only because it's been said a lot, and if it's been said a lot, then it must be a good idea, hn?"
"So what were you doing out here anyways?"
---
Leon nodded his head at that. "I guess so. It's a shame we haven't figured out a way for that to happen. Well... some people have I guess, if you have wings. We're half way there." He laughed a bit and shoves his hands in his pockets. "Oh I was just looking up at the clouds. I like watching them. A lot better than stargazing if you ask me." He looked around and realized there wasn't a lot of other Pockettu around. "Why are you here?"
---
At his mention of cloud gazing, Miranda beamed. "I agree! The clouds move a lot more, plus you can see different shapes and animals in them as well. Stars are cool 'n all, but you can't really do anything with them."
"I was just here thinking, enjoying the sun and stuff." Her deep thoughts about nature having left her briefly, as there was something else on her mind. She linked her arm through his and started walking to the exit.
"But now that you're here, let's go get some ice-cream! I've never had it before and was told it was delicious!"
---
Before he could say anything he was being tugged along, arm in arm with Miranda. He blinked for a moment then caught up with her. "Ice cream is really good. There's a whole bunch of different flavors. I can't believe you haven't tried any." Leon chuckled faintly and looked up at the sky as they walked. "Oh great now I'm seeing ice cream cones in the clouds..."
---
"Different flavours? Is it like sushi where there's different foods inside the rice?" She looked up to the sky to look at the cloud as well. It had a point edge to the top. "Pizza ice-cream?"
---
Leon had to think on this. "I guess it is. I'm not sure how good pizza flavored ice cream would be... But there's ones that taste like cotton candy and bubblegum." He smiled and nodded.
---Grinning at the thought of sugary treats, Miranda got carried away with walking. As they passed a few buildings, she stopped. "Uhm," a sheepish grin graced her lips.
"I don't actually know where we are going."--- "I'm sure her hair isn't weird. Just different." Leon began to look up at the shop signs. "Huh... I honestly didn't notice that at first... Let's look for one with an ice cream cone then!" -- "I guess... but she does things to it to make it different, darkens it. That's not natural, I don't understand why she would do such a thing." Miranda shook her head in discontent, and when she looked up her gaze just happened to fall upon "The ice cream shop!"
The ice-cream shop, conveniently named 'The Ice-Cream Shoppe'.
She got more excited than she was when she dragged Leon off in the first place. "I wonder what the different flavours are!" She exclaimed as she pushed open the door and rushed over to the glass casing.

"Huh... I guess she's not happy with her hair color?" Leon tried to think about it. He couldn't understand woman at times. Always so eager to change their appearence to the standards of what others considered beautiful. But well, who was he to judge?
Startled for a moment at Miranda's sudden outburst he watched her rush inside, slowly walking after. "Slow down, the ice cream isn't going anywhere.." He chuckled. She was really cute when she found something that caught her eye. Really energetic too. "Hmm..." He approached the glass casing and looked down at the plethora of ice cream within. "They're all labeled so pick what you want to try."

"Rocky road... vanilla... chocolate chip cookie dough..." Words quietly spoken as honey brown eyes scanned the labels. "Bir-"
"Birthday cake! I like birthday cake, and thus, I have to like this flavour." She pointed her finger on the glass above the tub. "Which one do you want Leon?" She grinned.

Birthday cake? He thought about it and it seemed like it could be a good flavor. "Hm... that sounds really tempting but I'll go with Cookies and Cream." He smiled and looked up at the Pockettu behind the counter before looking back at Miranda. "Did you want it on a cone or in a cup?"
