Yeah, I just came out to my brother about my sexuality and my non-standard gender identity. It felt so good to get it off my chest, although I doubt I'll tell anyone else in my family any time soon.
It was actually easier than I thought. It helped that my brother already knew what bigendered meant, though.
It was kinda funny, looking back. At first, he thought I was going to give him hell for something, then he thought I was pregnant gonk , and then he just put his arm around my shoulder and said "oh, that's ok". Of course, then I started bawling my eyes out, partly out of relief, and partly because I've been stressed out because of the amount of homophobic and transphobic trash I hear at home. As much as I know that there are straight people who are accepting, it never really hit me that my 14 year old brother could see it as just another little odd bit of my personality, instead of a big deal. I don't know, I'm rambling, I have a bit of an adrenaline rush going on right now, and I am literally vibrating (I'm like twitchy here -> lol ). Yeah I don't have a problem here, besides how do I calm myself down now, but I needed to share this with someone.

Sweet! It's always good to come out to someone. I remember when I came out to my neighbor (she's like family) and how I was really shakey afterwards. But it feels good. Im glad to hear that he excepts you. whee
