Upon entering the doorway of Jade, you find yourself in the midst of organized chaos. The walls are decorated in delicate hand-held fans, mannequin busts displaying ivory and jade hair clips, shawls and sashes of silks and laces lying neatly out to display their delicacy. In a corner of the room, you can see shelves of stuffed toys there for the pleasure of the young haka and Gehaka that accompany their parents into the store, and in another corner are hardier tools for Gehaka, such as shovels and rakes for them to work the land. There are shelves full of books for a haka looking for leisure, and the air is filled with the strains of music played on the koto and shamisen, and the flute.
There is no obvious counter, for even that is covered in shawls and fans, displaying the wares, so that everything blends in together, and there is nothing obvious about the fact that this is a store. A delicate young haka sits on a small chair, watching his Gehaka run the store quickly and quietly. "Hello." he says with a pleasant smile when he sees you have entered, and a Gehaka hurries over to you, bowing respectfully, obviously the haka's assistant. "Welcome to Jade."
