Tristan sat leaning against a tree with legs crossed and a thick book on mechanics in his lap pouring over it like it were a bestseller. He was endlessly fascinated by machines, they could look so simple, yet be immeasurably complex. Just likes the clocks he helped his father fix.

"Dear me Dear me. I'm sure I dropped it here somewhere." Clockwork was frantic as he walked backwards his head lowered as he was looking for something very precious to him. One of his mechanical wings were a tad lower than the other as well. He was in such a rush to get his wings repaired that his clock necklace snagged on something and broke off. He was so busying tracing his steps he missed his appointment.

Tristan peered up over the top of his book upon hearing someone talking to themselves, it didnt take him long to spot the stunning green and white zune, with the... mechanical wings? Trsitan got excited just thinking about it. that zune, actually had mechanical wings now if that wasn't awesome, what was? Setting his book aside, he stood up and dusted himself off then approached the zune, who he could now tell seemed to be searching for something " e-excuse me, but have you lost something? perhaps i could help"

Clockwork didn't expect anyone to speak let alone to him, It gave him a bit of a startle where his working wing flared out showing the more of his wings that were underneath, before he turned around. "Oh! Um, I'm sorry did I disturb you?" He almost forgot what he was doing before his ear flicked at hearing about help. "If it isn't to much of a bother, I'm looking for my Clock. It's gold and blue with gears, winds and screws that's hanging on a blue cord. I'd loose my head if I didn't have it. I get lost quite easy with time. I mean, it's really important to me." He sighed, he probably sounded like a babbling fool now to this nice person.

When the wings moved, Tristan couldent help but starte they moved, they actually moved, he was practically giddy with excitement, but he had to keep his composure. Oh how he longed to be like his father who seemed perpetually stoic. "o-oh, a clock huh? Sure ill help you find it. Did you last have it around here?"

he tapped his chin trying to remember. "I know I was wearing it on my way out from my home, I check it quite often. Hum....I figured I lost it on my way to the repair shop. My wings really needed a tuneup and the rain a few days ago seems to have messed one of them up. I fear it's probably rusted an old joint." He shook his head why was he explaining such a frivolous thing. "Anyways I figure I lost it from home to on my way to the repair shop."

Tristan had to resist the urge to jump for joy, here was his chance! " oh well, i happen to be a pretty good mechanic, i learned from my father. After we find your clock, i could take a look? that is if you don't mind. I won't even charge!"

Clockwork blinked a bit surprised at his offer. "Well I probably missed my appointment, if it wouldn't be to much of a bother to you, that is if you really want to." He was still looking around for his Clock. "For all I know it could be caught on something, broken or someone else found it." He gave a sad look.

Tristan moved away a bit, examining the ground for any sign of the clock. Looking over his shoulder at the other zune he smiled " it'd be a pleasure, i really love mechanical things so anytime i get to see something new i get kinda excited about it" kinda excited? well that was certainly an understatement, he got right down ecstatic about machines. " Don't worry, well find it for sure. " he said reassuringly and resumed his search

Clockwork gave a small nod as he pushed his glasses up his nose more, continuing the search. "Well i doubt it'll be any higher that myself since well I'm flightless at the moment being." He pondered some as he tried to retrace his steps before stretching and rubbing his lower back. "Wit the sun out it might help if we looked for anything gold shining, uh yeah." He continued to walk around before he heard a crunch and held still with the look of dread on his face. "I think I found it..."

Tristan heard the crunch as well and winced, that wasn't a good sound. He looked back over " uh, everything ok over there?"

Moving his foot, Clockworks looked as if his heart just broke as he crouched down, picking up the small pieces. "No, I broke it. My clumsy self broke my treasure." His ears drooped. "I don't even know if i can repair this myself."

Tristan hurried over " let me see." he said and examined the pieces " I think i can fix this... It just so happens I'm from a family of clock-makers, but i can't do it here. help me gather all the pieces and make sure nothing gets left behind."

"You sure?" He was a bit hopeful hearing that as he gathered every piece, following him once he lead him to where they needed to go. "I've had this since I can't remember. It would mean the world to me if you could fix it."
