Aleister was walking back after having been patched up and rested for a bit. "So.... how many more do you think there are?" He asked as he looked over towards Harrison.
He'd also restocked on poptarts, just in case. They were important in case someone needed a sugar rush. The death trainee stretched a bit as he walked, "I really don't know why my coat has enough pockets for me to stash so many poptarts in."
<Maybe it's not for poptarts but something more important....?> Puca suggested sighing. He'd be glad when this whole thing was over.

Well she hadn't done such a bang up job last time, but this time. This time she could feel it. This was the place and time.
She saw Leon preparing to go fight too. Ooh. Now she could get behind that. Or maybe in front ...
EITHER way she was defending him. "Doin' okay?" she said, standing in front of him, preparing to block a swipe with her glaive. "Let me help you out. I'll deter the bird, and you find an opening to hit it. Sound good?"
Hopefully he'd forgiven her for their little uh ... "encounter" earlier.

"You could be a motivational speaker," Jordan laughed, and spun Ferros. A break and something to eat and more coffee had done a lot for his mood, and he was back to feeling energetic.
The phoenix seemed to object to optimism. It knocked him flat with a high-speed dive; he lashed out at it, but hit nothing at all. He groaned and picked himself up as it swooped back up into the air. "Yeah, yeah, screw you too, Big Bird. Ferros, shut up."

Endless. It was like a treadmill, he wasn't sure when it would ever end, if they'd just be fighting these ******** birds forever. He found he didn't care, he could do it forever. Fighting meant he wasn't thinking. Fighting meant he had to be getting better at it. Maybe. Hopefully.
He wanted the dorms back.
He just wished he had more to give.
Again they were attacked and again he tried to hit it, hoping against hope to hit more than nothing.
He cringed as he met nothing but air.

the break only lasted a measly 60 minutes, but there was just one left. one silly freaking bird left to swat away and it was time to hit his bed, his real bed. That was the only thing that had Leon going. a man had to have his man cave, and he was going to fight tooth and nail to get it back. "One more left huh?" he asked Ami lightly as she took her spot in the front lines, this time giving him cover. it was nice not to have to pretend to be some kind of tank and have to eat hits for once. "Sure, you be the wall and we'll be the javelins to slay the beast from behind its defences." he said with a ear to ear grin and let the chainsaw rev maliciously. Oh yeah, Leon had his veggies before coming back to the battle.  he ate his damn spinach. HP: 40/50 DMG 6 CHRG: 1/3 Boss HP: 85/99

Aleister nodded, "Yeah shame we don't have the whole Ep team here." He was looking at the phoenix. "Hopefully though... I've improved since the Island trials." Even if it wasn't by much it'd be nice to have improved a little bit.
He waved to Leon as he joined, before heading for the phoenix again and aiming the blitzball for it's wings.... which missed.... Aleister frowned.... He'd been doing so good too....
