Maybe you can download ME 1 & 2 using Nintendo Network. Origin does have a section for the Wii

I think this is good. Expand the fan base, get more people playing Mass Effect

Personally I think it's pointless.

What would you NEED it on the Wii for?

Honestly, I have mixed feelings on this. Like Pilotslover, I feel like it's pretty pointless, but like Patton I feel like it is good to simply expand the fan base and such.

I don't think it needs a bigger fan base, it's one of the biggest franchises out there (Up there with Assassins Creed me thinks!); this move just strikes me as pure EA greed ...

I agree with Jackie Chan here. It was one thing to include Playstation when ME2 hit, but to release (only) the third installment onto a Nintendo Console? Personally, I feel that Miyamoto has moved their platforms in a different direction than Microsoft and Sony, and isn't really able to compete in the same kind of market. Just like Microsoft botched it with Kinect versus the Wii-motes and PS Moves.

But I digress. Whatever EA expects to gain from giving Wii-U players a chance at Shepard's epic, it can only be to cover the debauchery and bad taste left in everyone's mouths after the first week of release. Monetarily, or otherwise.

EA's always looking to scrape more money. just ask a sims player ninja

but anyway... eh. I don't know if it's really needed, but oh well.
