Kenjutsu styles

Kenjutsu (剣術; Literally meaning "Sword Technique") pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi or samurai. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu, chakra flow and even genjutsu in order to achieve more devastating techniques. The entire military might of the lone samurai nation of the Land of Iron, have so-far all been depicted as practitioners of kenjutsu. Among the shinobi nations, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist are particularly well known as kenjutsu practitioners. Also, a majority of Kumogakure shinobi are swordsmen.

Mist Sword Style

Description:
The Hidden Mist Sword Style is one of more commonly used methods of assault. Practiced since the village’s creation, this style has proven itself to be both simplistic and effective…truly, a timeless classic.
Traditional sword techniques are passed from Master to Pupil, but can be learned almost just as easy from Scroll.

Rules:
• Certain techniques can only be performed by certain weighted swords

The user swings their blade to their left, then to their right, or vice versa…easy

The user steps forward and quickly swings their blade from the right or left, due to the speed, this technique can knock opponents off balance

Shifting Side

The user steps forward, holding their sword tightly, and swings their blade from right or left- bashing their opponent with the flat side. Due to the power and good amount of speed, the opponent can be knocked over rather easily
• Can only be used with heavy swords

Vertical Descent

The user quickly dashes up, seemingly disappearing- they will then fall from the sky, blade held however they please, in an attempt to get in a vertical slash

Cap Break

The user will bring the hilt, or sheath, of their blade to the opponent’s knee cap in an attempt to momentarily cripple them. This technique can be performed rather easily while dodging or running

Enhanced Divide

The user will entrust the arm(s) they use to swing their sword with a light amount of chakra. For a short amount of time each attack the user performs deals slightly more damage and is slightly faster (Damage and Speed increased by a D Rank)

The user adjusts their position so that their weapon is held pointing tip down. From this position the user is able to deliver a rather quick rising slash

The user adjusts their position so that their weapon is held pointing tip down. From this position they will step forward and attempt to stab their target. If the stab is successful, they will continue by twisting the sword while its blade is still inside

Dual-Wielding Stance

The user is capable of using a pair of swords to perform most techniques in the style, as well as some additional ones. This can result in the user’s potential in a fight doubling, or even tripling

The user will adjust their stance so that both swords point either inward or outward. From this position they will close the distance between their opponent and attempt to impale with both weapons

Twin Fang Sinking

The user will adjust their stance so that one sword points inward, and the other points outward. From this position, they will entrust each blade with a good amount of chakra, close the distance between their opponent, and finish by attempting to impale with both weapons. If the attack is successful, the chakra will be released, causing the opponent to fly back

Gemini Breaker

The user begins by flipping hold on one of their swords- so that one is held pointing up, and the other down. They will then proceed by closing the distance gap with their opponent. When the opportunity has come, they will swing with the upside down sword, attempting to hit with the hilt, followed by the blade, and finish by bringing the other sword into the (most likely) disoriented opponent
• Requires two swords

Murderous Intent

The user will apply a thin layer of chakra around their blade, causing it to generate a white hazy effect. This aura around the blade may not seem like much, but even if the sword is held still, the haze is always moving, making it appear that the blade is moving as well. In addition, all strikes that occur for the duration of the technique deal an additional D ranked amount of pure chakra damage

The user brings their sword down at an incredible speed, capable of shattering stones into dusts and forcing anything strong enough to withstand the blow eight inches into the dirt. Though it seems incredibly simplistic, if the user does not know how to hold their sword the correct way they will end up causing severe hilt burn and bleeding upon usage

Murderous Form

A highly advanced version of ‘Murderous Intent’…The user will apply a thin layer of chakra around their body, causing a white hazy effect to envelope their entire body. Just as the technique it is based off of, this will cause the user to appear to be in a shifting motion, even if standing still. Whenever the user dashes or performs Mist Sword Style techniques a trail of blurry afterimages will be left behind

The user will attempt to stab with both swords, If successful they will then shift their hands from the hilts in a very quick downward fashion, causing both blades to spin in place. While spinning the swords cannot be adjusted or tampered with by non-elemental forces…Though this technique is typically used for flesh rending, because the user is able to abandon their grip on the swords it makes a nifty distraction for other attacks…

Merciless Drop

The user will grip their sword with one hand, and swing it overhead. They will then proceed by using their freehand to tilt the hilt inward, causing a faster, yet shorter ranged, drop of the blade. Most anything caught within this attack is shattered to pieces, even normally tempered steel. Because of its speed, weight, range, and drawback, this technique is typically used as a finisher
• Puts strain on the hand used to begin
• Can only be used with heavy swords

Devastating Haze

An extraordinarily powerful attack which utilizes the effects of ‘Murderous Intent’. The user will begin by assuming a stance in which they hold their sword directly upward, they will then shift their sword in various circular motions, generating a solid fog of white which obscures the user’s position and movements. When the user assumes the moment has come, they will thrust their blade from the fog, in an attempt to pierce their target. Should they be successful, the chakra used to perform ‘Murderous Intent’ will flood the opponent, causing an additional A ranked amount of pure chakra damage
• Requires ‘Murderous Intent’ to be active
• Nullifies ‘Murderous Intent’ if successful

Shunkan no Hagane
Flash flood of flying steel





Description:
The Shunkan no Hagane style uses blades of all sizes to mold the flow of battle to the user’s will. This style is a modern adaptation of traditional weaponry practices, taking the facets from the traditional styles themselves and applying them to more recent situations. As such many of the moves can be executed with a variety of bladed weapons. The techniques can also be used with blunted and training versions of bladed weapons, but the techniques in the style lose the majority of their piercing and slicing power.

The Instant of Steel style originated in a peninsula to the northeast of the Water Country and drifted slowly toward the Western lands and their Hidden Villages. Many of the practitioners gained fame through formal sparring tournaments, and as such the name of the style has yet to gain the fame that some others have; only those who actively watch or participate frequently in contests know of the practitioners and their abilities. Unfortunately, the style is hard to adapt in earlier stages for use in sudden battles, and is mostly used in duels. However, it is incredibly useful in almost any battle once higher levels are mastered, as the basic techniques become much stronger and faster.

Notes:
• “Finesse” refers to the ability to execute movements without excess damage, as in fine-point striking.
• Techniques taught by Shunkan no Hagane receive no learning reductions.

An overhead vertical strike meant as an offensive technique. Very basic, but it is a very powerful strike.

○ Forward Step

A single step or series of steps forward, meant to add a great deal of power to offensive attacks. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements in the Style.

○ Backward Step
Simple :: E-Rank
A single step or series of steps backward, meant as an escape or evasion technique. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements of the style, and it is mostly used as a positioning technique.

○ Basic Stab
Simple :: E-Rank
The basic stab used in most blade styles. It is a plain forward thrust with the blade, meant to pierce skin and cause damage to the main body.

○ Basic Block
Simple :: E-Rank
The set of basic upper- and lower-blocks used with swords and other bladed weapons. It works best on the basic offensive chops and slices.

○ Pivot Block
Simple :: D-Rank
The user pivots on the forward leg and deflects an incoming attack with their blade, setting them up for a highly effective counterattack. In addition, this movement sets the user up for a highly effective disarming technique, or even a throwing movement.

○ Forward Grind
Simple :: D-Rank
After blocking an incoming attack or after the opponent’s block, with the blade of choice, the user grinds his or her blade toward the opponent on the blocked weapon. This movement closes the distance between the user and the opponent while forcing the target’s weapon to remain still.

○ Deflection One
Simple :: D-Rank
In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and slightly alters the course of the incoming attack so that it misses, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user.

○ Disarming One
Simple :: D-Rank
The user aims for a point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and gently guides his or her blade to that point. After it has reached this point, the user redirects the weapon away from the opponent, causing it to slip out of the target’s grasp.

○ Calligraphy
Simple :: C-Rank
A series of fine-point stabs and slices resembling calligraphy strokes. The wounds they inflict are shallow, but very painful and debilitating.

○ Extension
Simple :: C-Rank
A technique that relies on the user’s skill with blades being more than that of a normal person’s. By swinging firmly and quickly, the air around the user’s blade shears and sharpens; this makes an incredibly powerful attack that can strike slightly farther than the blade seems possible of reaching. In essence, this attack cuts a few inches farther than the blade can reach.

○ Thread Walking One
Simple :: C-Rank
Utilizing their new balance, the user can now walk on threads and wires without much difficulty and without chakra.


○ Solid Footing
Simple :: C-Rank
When on the ground the user becomes incredibly difficult to throw off of his or her footing, in or out of stance.

○ Swordslinger
Simple :: B-Rank
The rapid changing and using of blades during a battle has become recently known as “swordslinging” within the martial world due to its resemblance to certain methods of using long-range weaponry. Within the Shunkan no Hagane style, however, this is a technique taken very seriously, and as such it is only given to those who have mastered the style up to this Stage and have experience using at least five weapons. The technique involves rapidly unsheathing, attacking, and sheathing weapons without pause, constantly changing mode and form of attack, and results in the user’s ability to use techniques without any extra physical cost.
• Extension, Calligraphy practiced using at least five other bladed weapons.

○ Illusory Double
Simple :: B-Rank
A close range attack, the user goes for a direct stab at the opponent. By pulling the blade slightly back immediately afterward, the user can then strike another nearby point very shortly after the first strike. This technique is fast enough that those who are of the same rank as the user cannot see the second strike.
• Basic Stab.

○ Sensory Information
Simple :: B-Rank
A passive technique that allows the user to judge the location of an incoming object or person, but not the direction it is moving in, based on sounds and disturbances made in the environment.

○ Twin Blade
Simple :: B-Rank
Due to the user’s strength, the air around the blade sharpens similar to the Extension technique. However, due to the user’s speed and proficiency with blades, the air blade hits after the actual blade with enough force to crack or shatter most blades.
• Calligraphy, Extension learned.

○ Brush Stroke
Simple :: B-Rank
A series of quick cuts that eclipse the Calligraphy technique in both speed and depth, but are much more difficult to work with. The cuts now pierce all the way through muscles, and can cut in to bone. This technique can only be seen by people with a speed rank higher than the user’s own.

○ Hydra Strike
Simple :: B-Rank
An enhancement of the Twin Blade. Instead of only one additional strike, the user can now launch several in a row without any loss in speed or power.
• Twin Blade learned.

○ Disarming Two
Simple :: B-Rank
The user aims for the point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and swings strongly for that point. Once the user’s blade connects, the opponent’s blade breaks in two and the hilt of the blade is sent flying. If the opponent holds on to his or her blade too strongly, the bone fingers in the hand(s) holding on to the hilt crack.

○ Deflection Two
Simple :: B-Rank
In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and alters the course of the incoming attack so that it is rendered useless, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user.

○ Advance of Steel
Simple :: B-Rank
A very quick forward movement that doubles the strength and effectiveness of all offensive and defensive techniques and makes them very difficult to dodge by anyone of the user’s speed rank or lower.

The user, because of the large amount of training he or she has now completed, can now operate blades with such speed and ease that the air begins to shear along the edges of the weapons when they are used, extending their range by almost a foot on all bladed sides. This effect lasts for ten posts.

Simple :: A-Rank
The user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as totally infeasible.

○ Crescent Block
Simple :: A-Rank
A circular block meant to serve as an all purpose defensive technique. By catching the incoming attack and carrying it in a circular path on the blade edge, the user gains a great amount of control over the opposing weapon, enough to be able to drive it in to the ground or to easily disarm the opponent without the need for extra techniques or movements. In addition, this technique has great cutting power against soft weapons such as arms, legs, and anything made out of wood or bamboo.

○ Defense of Steel
Simple :: A-Rank
A powerful defensive technique that is capable of nullifying elemental Ninjutsu up to C-Rank. By performing any appropriate block while Shearing is active, the user can slice through an incoming attack without his or her blade ever touching it. This technique works by shearing the material in the path of the blade, dispersing energy and matter in to the surrounding landscape. This defense is extremely effective against carried weapons of all types. Must be using a metal blade.

○ Sword Drawing Technique
Simple :: A-Rank
A quick drawing of the sword that operates as a slash and breaks through not only blades, but can pierce armor as well. Opponents without a speed at least rank one lower than the user’s cannot see or react to this technique.
If using a two handed weapon, Opponents without a speed at least three ranks lower than the user's cannot see or react to this technique.

○ Final Words

A passive technique whereby the user can accurately judge the distance, location, and speed of an incoming object or person based on the sounds made and the disturbances made in the environment.

○ Vorpal Blade
Simple :: S-Rank
A passive technique that forces the user’s blade to act as if it were twice as sharp as it actually is. This makes it easy to carve through armor even without the use of techniques that do so, and those techniques become potent enough to slice through heavy armors.

○ Movement of Steel
Simple :: S-Rank
An unbelievably quick movement technique that has a speed that totally eclipses that of the Body Flicker Technique, with the same range. However, it is difficult to control and can only be used in one direction at a time. This technique creates an after-image where the user had been standing.
• All techniques prior to this Stage learned.

○ Offense of Steel
Complex :: S-Rank
From the ready position, the user swings the blade he or she has chosen at a given target, sending a wave of energy in the direction of the swing that slices anything it hits in the way that the blade would. The technique starts out with a range of 5 meters, but increases by another 3 meters for every rank of speed added to it. This means that a Genin using this technique would only have a range of 5 meters, but that a Kage would be able to hit something 18 meters away.

○ Instant of Steel
Complex :: S-Rank
A change to the physical state that doubles the speed of all blade techniques and halves the user’s reaction time. This state lasts for ten posts.

Santoryu
Which blade will you counter?


D e s c r i p t i o n:
Santoryu is an unorthodox, but deadly sword style that originated in Kirigakure. Those that created the Santoryu were noted for their curious ability to utilize a third blade, held in the mouth for lethal, unpredictable attacks that left very few witnesses to spread tales of their prowess. Those tales that did survive, however, spread rumors that each Santoryu user was really a demon, a monster in the form of a man; a rumor that few have tried to disprove.

• This style confers a slight increase to speed with each stage mastered.
• Before learning the techniques in a stage, the practitioner must learn any sword style within that stage.

Description: Using one sword wielded in his left hand or with his right hand gripping his left wrist for support [ or vice-versa ], the user jumps high up into the air and slashes his opponent. After slashing them, the user's opponent then goes numb from where they were slashed because the user embedded some of his own Chakra within that spot.

San-Juu-Roku Pondo Hou [ Single Sword Rising Phoenix ]

Description:The user holds his blade in his hand over his shoulder and then swings down. Then as he slashes he releases some of his Chakra in his Swords causing them to create a single spiraling Chakra wave.

Description:A stance where two swords are held parallel so that the tips are pointing to his right or left side, this move is like a pre-requirement to perform: Tourou, Outourou, Hirameki, Samon.

Tourou [ Climbing a Tower ]
Rank: C :: Complex
Description: Two Chakra-based projectile slashes are sent upwards while jumping as the user swings his swords in an upward motion.

Outourou [ Reply Climbing a Tower ]
Rank: C :: Complex
Description: Two Chakra-based projectile slashes are sent downwards while falling as the user swings his swords downwards, with the gravity complimenting the force of the attack.

Hirameki [ Flash ]
Rank: C :: Complex
Description: Two Chakra-based projectiles are sent forward after swinging both swords from the left or right side.

Description: The user holds both blades in his hand over his shoulders and then swings down. Then as he slashes he releases some of his Chakra in his Swords causing them to create a double spiraling Chakra wave.

Description: Increasing the number of blades, as well as the difficulty, this is the second-to-last step in mastering the Power of the Cursed Three. The user begins to grow accustomed to holding a blade in their mouth, as well as strengthening the jaw muscles to avoid quick exhaustion as well as a stronger bite.

Oni Giri [ Demon Slash ]
Rank: A :: Simple
Description: A three-way simultaneous slashing attack. The user crosses his two swords across his chest and places the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them. The user then approaches the target [ Preferably quickly ] and cuts through by swinging the swords across his chest, resulting in a descending diagonal-crossing slash from both swords while the mouth blade performs a horizontal cut from either the left or right, depending from which side of his mouth did he positioned the sword's main blade at.

Yasha Karasu [ Night Crow ]
Rank: A :: Simple
Description: The user spins like a rolling wheel at an enemy with his swords, eventually coming to a head with a tornado-like move while continually thrusting the swords at the opponent. This attack leaves cuts shaped like crows' feet.
• Repeated use can cause dizziness.

Gazami Dori [ Crab Seize ]
Rank: A :: Simple
Description: All three swords are horizontally parallel, suddenly clamping down on the target like a crab's claw for a guillotine like effect that would normally cut a person's head off.

Tatsu Maki [ Dragon Twister ]
Rank: A :: Complex
Description: The user spins with his swords to create a dragon-like tornado that both slashes and blows away the target(s).
• Enhanced by Fuuton Chakra.

Karasuma Gari [ Demon Crow Hunt ]
Rank: A :: Complex
Description: Performs a flying multiple slash technique. The user concentrates their Chakra into their arms to move at a faster pace slicing multiple objects in a short amount of time.

Hyaku-Hachi Pound Hou [ Triple Sword Soaring Phoenix ]
Rank: A :: Complex
Description: The user holds both blades in his hand over his shoulders and then swings down and slashes horizontally with the blade in his mouth. Then as he slashes he releases stored chakra in his Swords causing them to create a triple spiraling chakra wave.
• Effective range: Ten meters.

Hyou Kin Dama [ Leopard Golden Ball ]
Rank: A :: Complex
Description: The user jumps forward while spinning in the air, forming a ball shape with his blades. This is basically a feinting maneuver, so even if the target manages to read the pattern of this attack and move out of the users trajectory, they will still be cut by the Chakra that is emitting from the blades that are sharpened to where they feel like the tip of a blade.
• Can be charged with an Element of the users choice for an additional [20] Chakra. Ex: Katon, Suiton.

Santoryu Ougi Sanzen Sekai [ Ultimate Three Swords: Three Thousand Worlds ]
Rank: A :: Simple
Description:The user holds two of his/her swords at an angle against each other and spins them while running towards his/her opponent which will shred the enemy to bits. According to the name of this attack, this is the ultimate and strongest technique of the Santoryu.
• Requires all previous techniques learned.
• No post reductions applicable.

Kyutoryu [ Nine-sword Style ]
Rank: S :: Sword Style
Description: The final sword-mastery step in the Cursed Three, the Kyutoryu. Unlike the previous, more physical focused sword-masteries, the Kyutoryu is more energy-centered, due to the large amounts of chakra the final techniques consume.
• Confers a passive +100 chakra boost.
• Double the post requirement to learn.

Kiki - Kyutoryu - Asura [ Demon Spirit - Nine Swords Style - Asura ]
Rank: S :: Complex
Description: The technique that allows the user to use Kyutoryu. While being relentlessly attacked, the user's anger and frustration manifests itself from a dark aura emanating from themselves into a being with six arms and three heads known as an Asura. The full activation of this technique actually causes the ground to darken several meters diameter from where the user stands and blow a gust of wind from the user. He then motions his arms upward leaving behind to sets of arms and each time the arms manifest so does the head coming from both right and left. This is used by creating Kage Bushin [ Shadow Clone ] that do not leave your own body.
• Can only be used twice per battle.

Description: The user holds the swords so the blades are pointing towards the victim, the user leaps towards them slashing them with all nine of his swords at once afterwords ending in a position where all the swords are held in a way to make them look like they're fanning out. This technique has enough force to rip through a small mountain because of the Chakra emitting from each blade.
• Can only be used twice per battle.

Asura Makyuusen [ Asura Demon Nine Flash ]
Rank: S :: Complex
Description: The user makes use of chakra to propel himself at the target with great speed, enough to where he leaves behind an afterimage of himself. As the image fades the user presents themselves right in front of the foe and begins to slash them up using all nine swords and ends with a stance where all nine swords are in a wheel shape. The wound is similar in shape to the sword stance. Leaves the user exhausted, as well as placing great strain on the joints.
• Can only be used once per battle.
• Requires 18 posts to learn.

Kohanagakure Style - Death By Stealth And Silence
Unseen, Swift, Death



Description: This Style is a very distinctive Style that was developed in Kohanagakure which was unique for working so well for Covert and Stealth Missions. The Hojinshi Style is a Style that uses Daggers for both swift and quick movements to move with ease so that won't be slowed down. This Style also have honed their skills to where they are able to counter attacks on them swiftly even in severe situations.


Stage One: D-Ranked


Description: The users of this Style are just now starting to begin their Training learning the Basics of how to use the Dagger with their Techniques as well as move swiftly and silently. This requires a good amount of control and focus. Regular Techniques are Genin Level and the Special Techniques are beginner Chuunin Level.
Abilities: none
Graduation Requirements:You are mostly Trained to move swiftly without being seen or heard able to move quick on your feet without a sound. Mostly Training in quiet areas as well as learning how to use a Dagger as if it is a extension of yourself.
Techniques:
○ Shikaku Kataki [ Assassins Revenge ]
Description: This is a basic Technique that all beginners use when fighting up close. The user will flip their Dagger having the Blade face them as they come in ducking down slashing horizontally across the opponents stomach then as their hand reach the other end of their stomach they will jab it in the end for the Dagger to pierce their skin.

○ Shikaku Naibun [ Assassins Secret ]
Description: This is another basic Technique where the user will come in and slash their Dagger upward across their opponent and because of their flexibility they will kick right after keeping on leg on the ground making a cyclone like rotation. Leaves them open for a split second because their leg must come all the way back around.

○ Bikou Tokkan [ Shadows Rush ]
Description: This is another basic Technique but is the most used one of them all where the user will slash their Dagger horizontally across the opponents chest starting from the left then slash to the right and do a back leg kick with their right leg to the opponents neck.

○ Suterusu Hiretsukan [ Stealth Sneak ]
Description: The most advanced of the Beginner level Techniques the user will move in quietly and take their Dagger slashing across the back of their opponent. You can also slash from the frontal position aiming mostly for the torso or the neck.


Stage Two: C-Ranked



Description: The pupil now has attained a great level of Stealth and focus increasing their Stealth overall being able to move silently without being seen to those of their level also increasing their Techniques effectiveness. Regular Techniques are Chuunin Level and the Special Techniques are Beginner Jounin Level.
Abilities: None
Graduation Requirements: none
Techniques:
○ Akki Bachi [ Cretin's Curse ]
Description: This is a very aggressive attack that is mainly used in combat instead of during Stealth Missions. The user will come in quickly faking a punching then kneel down as they slash horizontally to the left then the right both aiming for the foes neck then come up doing a vertical slash across the opponent's right shoulder.

○ Akki Gikai [ Cretin's Parliament ]
Description: A Technique that moves in a quick and fluent motion as the user will slash Vertically over the opponent's right shoulder then as they are coming back up the user will flip the dagger as they slash horizontally across the opponent's neck or chest. Then finally the user will kick with the back of their right leg on the side of the opponent's neck.

○ Tenrai Shioki [ Divine Punishment ]
Description: A technique that utilizes the legs where the user will do a double kick on the right and left side of the ribs then jump up doing a spin kick into the right ribs on last time most likely sending the opponent flying.

○ Ryuuki Narabi [ Rising Aliment ]
Description: A strong and powerful kicking combination that is used mainly for battle instead of Stealth. The user will jump in the air and doing a back leg spin kick across the side of the users temple and continue spinning as they come down kicking the opponent in his ankles knocking them into the air. The user will then kick one last time while the opponent is still in the air kicking him in the chest knocking him back


Stage Three: B-Ranked



Description: This stage shows how the pupil is growing gradually but has gained a great increase in Stealth which is why they are able to move around without being detected by those of their Level.
Abilities: none
Graduation Requirements: learned all previous stages
Techniques:
○ Suterusu Hokou [ Stealth Walk ]
Description: After Training to move quietly and quickly those of this Style have grown accustomed to moving silently their normal movements have become quiet making them almost hard to notice when they really move in action.

○ Kuikku Satsu [ Quick Kill ]
Description: Also after Training for such a long time with a Dagger those of this Style are able to kill those with much more Stealth so they won't risk being seen mostly aiming for fatal points to end it quickly.


Stage Four: A-Ranked



Description: This stage of the training becomes most serious since they will be learning traits that the Hojinshi Style is well known for. Regular Techniques are Jounin Level and the Special Techniques are Beginner Anbu Level

Techniques:
○ Kire Kamakiri [ Severing Mantis ]
Description: A swift quick Technique where the user will sprint and crouch while sprinting as they get behind their foe quickly and come up back up with a upward vertical slash across the opponents back then flip the Dagger around as the user does six multiple stabs into the foes back.

○ Bunri Inochi [ Detachment Of Life ]
Description: A Technique that can be used for both hostage situations or escape. The user will appeared behind the foe taking the foes right hand pulling it behind their back and placing the Dagger to the foes neck and can choose to kill the foe or not.

○ Teikiatsu Kakou Ashige [ Cyclone Drop Kick ]
Description: This Technique is mainly used in battle and is very deadly. The user will sprint towards their opponent and then slide tripping them causing them to fall forward after they have fallen the user will kick of the foes shoulders to get a high footing in the sky as they come back down from out of the sky spiraling like a Cyclone into the opponents back.


Stage Five: S-Ranked



Description: A state of Hojinshi Style that is not often reachable to those outside of Kohanagakure. The Mastery of these skill allows the previously known techniques to require slightly less Work. The Masters of the Hojinshi Style have been known to be those of ranks such as S-Rank, Village Leader, and Kage.
Abilities: none
Graduation Requirements: all previous stages learned and rank is sannin or kage
Techniques:
○ Hyoumenka Inpan [ Breaking Seal ]
Description: The user will grab the user from the front and jump into the air then flip over the foes shoulder forcing the their feet into the foes back pulling their arms back as the foe lands on ground with no way to defend themselves from the collision.

○ Enjin Rasen Kakou [ Ring Spiral Drop ]
Description: The user will sprint towards their opponent and kneel down as they launch a powerful kick to the foes chin launching them into the air. Then the user will grab the foe in midair as leaning forward as both the user and the foe roll in midair right before they both reach the ground the user will loosen their grip pulling out the Dagger. As they land on the ground the user will be on top of the foe and slash horizontally him across the chest or neck.

○ Kaze Inpan Tokkan [ Wind Sealing Rush ]
Description: The user will sprint in and kneel down coming up with a upward vertical slash that will launch the opponent into the air then will spin coming around with a side kick to the opponents ribs while in mid kick the user will spin the Dagger around and come down with a downward vertical stab to end the combination.

Nunchaku Kata
Whipping and whirling barrage



Description:
The nunchaku is a traditional weapon of the Kobudo weapons set and consists of two sticks connected at their ends with a short chain or rope. Though not typically used in a ninja arsenal, the nunchaku have spurted up every now and then, proving themselves to be both quick and powerful. Unfortunately, the effective use of these weapons when fighting other ninja requires much training and dedication. Through brutal training and realization of hand movements, the user often finds himself faster after a long day’s training with this type of weapon.

Rules:
• Some techniques require a pair of nunchaku.
• Some techniques that require two, can also be used with one.
• All techniques in this style require an [1] additional post to learn.
• Each stage grants a slight increase to agility.

Ring Bop

The user takes a step forward, shifting the opposite foot backward, holding one nunchaku at its end. At any given moment during this stance, the user will quickly swing in a full circular motion, smacking with both of their weapons. Because of the speed, this technique is also capable of knocking certain projectiles from the air.

The user takes a step forward, holding one nunchaku by the end and the other near its center. They will proceed by continuing their forward stepping, spinning both nunchaku in rapid vertical circle motions.

The user holds both nunchaku by their end, then proceeds by swinging them both around their torso, generating a hasty parry and bludgeon perimeter.

• Deflects Rank D projectile Ninjutsu.

The user infuses both of his nunchaku with a light amount of elemental chakra, causing them to deal an additional D Ranked amount of corresponding elemental damage per hit.

Spinning Cane

The user takes various awkward steps forward, takes both nunchaku by their ends, and swings them around his body in multiple linear patterns.

Ring Toss
Complex :: Rank B
The user holds one nunchaku by its end and injects chakra into it. With a light whip-lash style motion, he will let loose a spinning disc of pure chakra as if a large shuriken. However, the technique can also be adjusted by using elemental chakra, resulting in rings of fire or water, and so on.

Eight Point Bash
Simple :: Rank B
The user charges forward, nunchaku ends tucked between armpits. When the time seems right, the user will attempt to unleash a combination of eight directional strikes. One uppercut, one overhead strike, one strike from the left, one strike from the right, a second uppercut, one diagonal up from left to right, one diagonal up from right to left, and finally a hard forward jab. Each strike is typically aimed for the head, as thus, if the initial uppercut lands, the remaining seven strikes should follow fine. Additionally, the ending jab offsets most opponents.

Friction Motion
Simple :: Rank A
The user will continuously sling his nunchaku around himself, creating a 360º barrier, extremely effective seeing how the user may still remain moving. Any light or medium weight projectile that comes near the user during this period is deflected, if not simply shattered. When the user has finished his swinging, each nunchaku will seem to be giving off steam, and for a brief while, any successful attacks brought on by these enhanced nunchaku deal an additional D ranked amount of fire damage and can cause severe burns.
• Rotating preparation requires [3-5] posts.
• Burning effect lasts [6] posts.

Twisting Dragon
Simple :: Rank A
The user will begin by holding one nunchaku at its end, and the other as they see fit. They will proceed by attempting to close the distance, and when the time arises, swing out the loose gripped one in an attempt to wrap the foot or leg of their target. If successful, the user will quickly follow by bringing the blunt end of the opposite nunchaku into the opponent, and finish by spinning and throwing the opponent into the air. Because this attack is so swift, and essentially a grab, it can be used as a quite lethal mix-up technique.

Dragon Fang
Simple :: Rank A
An anti-air technique developed to stunt enemies in their tracks. The user will hold both nunchaku folded and backwards, then stab at high speeds diagonally into the air. Roughly twenty strikes, each one with enough power to suspend a person in midair. The final strike is different however, as the user will jab one nunchaku hard into the target, let loose his grip on one bar, and slam the suspended into the ground.

Voluptuous Dragon Tongue

The user will begin by holding both nunchaku folded over between his armpits, he will then proceed by creating in opening in the opponent's defense in someway. When the time has come, the user will harness all of his arm strength, causing veins to strain and ungulate. He will then swing his nunchaku at incredible speeds, forming loops, linear strings, and hard jab free-style attacks; all while shifting his feet to circle the opponent. Because of its speed and power, the movements will also likely cause friction burns. After the technique has come to a close, the user will have minor arm strength left, resulting in his ability to only use specific techniques with a single nunchaku at a time.
• After usage, techniques are performed with one [1] nunchaku.
• After usage, techniques above Rank B cannot be used.

Stage One: No Rank Requirement



When they first attain their Tonfa, the user is able to execute simple swings and punches, yet nothing truly fancy yet. They are able to use their chakra, yet not with the Tonfa, due to lack of practice. They need to get more of a feel for the weapon before they are able to do that.

Stage One Techniques

Burst Shot
Rank D
Using chakra, the user is able to re-enforce their punch with chakra, to make it stronger. Though, the range of increasing of the attack is minimal. It can crack boards of wood, but nothing more. The range of increase it around 5% of the shinobi's strength.

Spinning Winds
Rank C
Again using chakra, the user will spin the tonfa around to make the longer end face forward. The user then spins on one foot, using the increase in strength, as well as the momentum from the spin, to cause a high strength hit from the end. Anyone hit by this will get a pretty bad bruise, and/or a cracked bone, but not a break. They will be pushed back about a foot, and anyone blocking it with a weapon will feel like they got hit by a baseball bat.

Stage Two: Genin



As the user becomes more accustomed to the Tonfa, they gain a much more versatile skill of being able to spin the tonfa in their hand, causing slight winds to build up. To gain this stage, the user must first train with their tonfa for a period of time[around fifteen posts only using the tonfa]

Stage Two Techniques

Pushing Winds
Rank D
Using chakra to build up in the user's hand, their strength increases by roughly 10%. When swung, the power from the swing creates slight winds, used to uproot dust and to slightly move a weapon off course(only a kinai or shuriken, able to be moved three inches at most)

Boomerang Blade
Rank C
Using their ability to spin their tonfa, the user will spin the weapon quickly in their hands, using chakra to help with the spin. They then throw it, leaving a small amount of chakra attached to the tonfa. Using the ability to manipulate the chakra, after it hits, or misses and opponent, the tonfa will arc and come back to the user, like a boomerang

Stage Three: Chunin



By this point in time, the user is able to wrap their chakra around the Tonfa, and can easily move with it. The Tonfa is starting to feel a part of their arm, making it much easier to use, as well as maneuver while using it. The user, to attain this stage, must again train with the Tonfa, this time doing the training against a boulder, until it cracks. [Twenty posts of training with the Tonfa and then hitting a rock until it cracks]

Stage Three Techniques

Crushing Force
Rank C
By focusing a large amount of chakra around or into the Tonfa, the user can now punch right through wood like paper, and crack boulders, after training. The strength increase is now around one fifth the user's current strength. The move can be used like Spinning winds, this time able to push back kunai and shuriken easily, now able to deflect ninjutsu of Rank D or lower.

Bladed Arm
Rank B
Using the chakra wrapped around the Tonfa, the user focuses it into an appendage to the side, or the front of the Tonfa. It can be either blunt, or sharp, and acts like whatever the object is, either crushing or slicing what it hits. The size of the appendage, depends on the user's chakra manipulation ability, as well as overall chakra level.

Throwing Crush
Rank C
Using the same technique as Crushing Force, the user will wrap chakra around their arm, and then throw the Tonfa. The force that it is thrown at propels it forward, slamming against a person or object. If it hits a person and it is not blocked, it breaks bones. If it hits an object that is not made of metal, it breaks. Sine the move can crack boulders, it's only natural that it can break bones.

Stage Four: Jonin



By this stage, the user can now break rocks, and shatter bones. The Tonfa is an extension of the person's arm now, and can be used like the user's arm. Now the user can use their own element with the Tonfa, greatly increasing it's power and range

Wind Barrage: Burst
Rank B
Using the user's wind chakra, the user can use their chakra to increase their speed, striking multiple blows at once and in a short period of time. This allows a better overall effect. The user can also use their chakra to allow a better effect of Bladed Arm, making their chakra to look like an actual blade.

Water's Rage: Storm
Rank B
Using Water from a nearby stream, or any other water source(even the water from the air), the water user will then punch forward, like Crushing Force, and the water will then continue forward, blasting right into whatever is in front of it. Since there is the same principal as Crushing Force, with the high increase in strength, whatever it hits will most likely be crushed, or pushed far back.

Lightning's Palm: Current
Rank B
Using a current of electricity, the Raiton user will channel the current around or through the Tonfa, depending on what it is made of. When they punch, it will send a strong jolt of electricity through the object, or person. If the user also has the Fuuton element, they can use both Burst and Current, hitting many places at once and still causing a large shock.

Rock Cover: Hard as Steel

Using the Doton element, the user will wrap Earth around the Tonfa, making it sharp or blunt at the end. The user will then have the ability to manipulate Earth through the Tonfa, combining it with other ninjutsu to make it a powerful attack.

Fire Storm: Searing Strike

Wrapping the Tonfa in fire, the user can either shoot a fireball, or fireballs, from the tonfa, as well as swing the Tonfa and having a fire wave to emanate out from it.

Master: Blast
Rank A
Using a large amount of chakra in or around the Tonfa, as well as in the arm using the Tonfa, the user can launch the Tonfa forward, the longer end facing forward, especially while thrown. The force that it hits something...is astounding. For instance, if thrown at a tree, it completely goes through the tree, but stops as the handle hits the tree. This shows that the longer end went cleanly through the tree, not breaking the tree as a whole. By this stage, the user is almost a master of the Tonfa, as well as rapidly progressing in chakra control. If it hits a person, it does the same thing as if it would hit a tree. It has the ability to crush through rocks, which says something. When they are able to do this, they are ready to become a master.

Stage 5: Sanin



By this stage, the user is almost a master of the Tonfa, using it as more than a part of their arm, but as a part of themselves. They never have the Tonfa away from them, and can use it as if it were light as a feather. For this to happen, the user must be able to use Blast, to move on.

Blunt: Blade
Rank S
Molding their chakra around the tonfa, the user can either make the end of the tonfa sharp, or blunt. Whichever is used, will determine what it can do. If the end is blunt, it will have the same effect as Blast, but the chara will act as an elongated end, doing it at a much larger reach. the chakra will attack not only the outer body, but if the jutsu is used by a ninja with very good chakra control, or a medical ninja, can attack the inside as well. If the end is like a blade, the technique will be able to cut through weak metal. This means senbon, or light blades. The chakra in this attack is much more difficult to use, which is why most go for Blunt, rather than Blade. But, if utilized correctly, the jutsu is the strongest of the style. This attack, if used by a medical nin or a nin with good chakra control, can make precise cuts into shinobi.

Akira Style

Hidden,Fan,Deadly






Description: The Akira Style is elegant, made for faster fighters than it is for strength. Based upon dance like combos that increase speed while using blade like fans, the Akira style is light and requires a deep focus to fully master. Balanced steps and sharp reflexes are a must. Users of this style are abnormally well balanced, and rarely can be knocked down. Their movement is light, but quick flowing.

Rules:
• Akira techniques are performed in stages, as thus, only certain moves can be done in each stage
• After learning a Stance, the user learns all techniques in that stage.
• Users must be of small body frames
• This style gives a slight increase to both agility and flexibility for each stage learned.


Stage One: D-Ranked

Description: Akira- Speed: The most basic of all stances, movements are simple and often revolve around solid foot movements with watery arm gestures. The user begins with both legs together and their arms to their side…
Abilities: none
Graduation Requirements: Requires 10 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This Stance
Techniques:
○ The First Akira: Blade
Description: The user’s hands come up to elbow height and are then extended outward until straight. Fan(s) are then flicked open, and the user cuts quickly with a backhanding motion.

○ The First Akira: Motion
Description: The user presses their weight to a leg, leans forward, and sweeps with the opposite, knocking most off balance

○ The First Akira: React
Description: With fans open, the user crosses their arms across their chest, forming an ‘X’ slash. With a simplistic motion, the user returns to the Stance One position

○ The First Akira: Complete
Description: The user raises both arms till they are straight, then flicks both wrists, causing the fans to open wide in a back slashing motion- meanwhile, the left foot is shifted forward. The user will then lean forward, arms curling to their back, and perform a sweep kick with the right. If successful, the user will finish by slicing their target in an ‘X’ formation by swinging both fans forward, and finally return to the Stance One position

○ Grace
Description: The user tightens their leg muscles, but still retains their swiftness. For a short while, the user cannot be knocked off balance by D or C ranked techniques

○ Flickering Beauty
Description: While performing ‘The First Akira, light flickers are left behind, serving as a minor distraction


Stage Two: D-Ranked

Description: Akira- Balance: The user has a rough understanding of how to retain balance in most positions, but is still clumsy in awkward positions. The movements of this stance are based around sturdy yet soft footing with fan utilization. The user begins with hands at torso level and knees are slightly bent
Abilities: none
Graduation Requirements: Requires 10 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This Stance.
Techniques:
○ The Second Akira: Snap
Description: The user sends one of their feet forward, causing them to assume a near ducking position, it is a simple maneuver to dodge

○ The Second Akira: Chop
Description: While in any form of ducking position, the user will slide their fans together from chest level, causing a pair of parallel horizontal slashes

○ The Second Akira: Fold
Description: While the fans are atop one another (horizontal or vertical), and at torso level, the user will emit a very light blast of chakra by clapping both fans shut. This burst of chakra is elementless, and capable of pushing most shinobi a yard away, it can also deflect projectile ninjutsu

○ The Second Akira: Complete
Description: From any ducking position, the user slides their fans together from chest level, once horizontal, and once more vertically. After the hit is confirmed, the user will snap both fans shut, letting loose a burst of null element chakra that deals moderate damage and pushes the target back roughly two yards. During the time the target is sent away, the user will either spin around once rising and assuming the Stance One position, or continue into a combination

○ Enhanced Step
Description: The user channels chakra through their feet to perform a quick strike or dodge
• Can only be used 3 times per battle

○ Chakra Slash
Description: The user channels chakra through their hands into their fans before striking, or to send a wave style slash towards their opponent
• Max range of 10 meters

○ Elemental Burst
Description: The user channels their elemental chakra into their fan to send a gale of wind with a simple back waving motion. The wind shares the element of your choosing, which could result in a searing wind, if fire, or say a chilling wind, if water
• Max range of 15 meters

○ Wall Shadow
Description: The user presses chakra into their feet in order to attach to a wall or ceiling. The user then holds up a single fan, if eye contact if made with either fan, the opponent believes the user leaps into the sky and vanishes

Stage Three: C-Ranked

Description: Akira- Elegance: The user is now accustomed to strange positions, and is able to retain strength and grace even within the most pressing of situations. Quick and sturdy movements can be performed even when ducking or bent backwards. The user begins from a bent back position or almost fully ducking position…

Graduation Requirements: Requires 15 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This State
Techniques:
○ The Third Akira: Flip
Description: From either a ducking position or bent back position, the user will slide back on their hands, performing a hand stand. From this position they lift one of their arms, and quickly extend the opposite leg, equaling the weight. If the opponent is close enough they will likely be kicked by the extending of the leg, or will be within slashing reach of the free hand and fan

○ The Third Akira: Slip
Description: The user will bend their arms while standing on them (or one) and slowly slide to a held position on their forearm(s). From here, they will bend in their legs, and slip under or around an opponent. While sliding on the ground (on either back or stomach) the user can very easily slash with their fans

○ The Third Akira: Rise
Description: By recovering from a sliding or downed position, the user will lift themselves with either leg and use the momentum to force forward or backward. With the boost of movement, they will then beautifully spin, bringing both arms in full circular slashing motion. (Can be performed with fans open or closed)

○ The Third Akira: Complete
Description: From a bent back, or almost completely ducking position, the user with lift themselves with either arm, quickly bringing up their opposite leg in an attempt to kick anyone in the immediate area. From this single hand stand position, the user will bend till their elbow makes contact with the ground, whence this has happened they will curl their legs into their stomach and press off with a mighty oomph- causing them to slide on the ground to their target. When the desired distance has been reached, the user will lift up with either leg and use the momentum built up by the slide to spin around, arms balleting in a circular fashion

○ Elegance
Description: The user expands a blanket of chakra in a 2 yard radius (12 foot diameter), allowing them to ‘sense’ when they are going to be hit by Taijutsu and allows them to react accordingly. It is only because of their reflexes that this technique is so effective, giving the user the ability to bend or step to evade. This blanket of chakra does not actually expend any chakra, rather it sets aside the total used to be reclaimed when the blanket drops.

○ Projected Wall Flower
Description: In order to begin, the user must catch the eye of their opponent with sight or fan connection. The user seems to flicker from their position, while in reality is nothing more than an illusion. As the Genjutsu begins to fade, a vine of chakra will wrap around the opponent’s legs, rooting them in place.
This technique needs three posts to fully form. The first, the sight connection. The second, the illusionary flickering from place to place. And thirdly, the fading of the Genjutsu and the wrapping of the root. If during any step the opponent is dealt physical damage, the Genjutsu fades

○ Twirling Deception
Description: When attacked by a close range Taijutsu, the user will spinning sidestep the attack, bringing up one hand with a burst of wind to inflict cuts along their torso


Stage Four: B-Ranked

Description: Akira- Coordination: Having understood Elegance, Speed, and Balance, the user now learns how to use the fans as if an extension of their own two hands. They can now perform a wealth of weapon attacks without requiring a hard grip upon their fans. It is also likely by this point that the user is completely aware of their fans, and no longer have to carry the troubled thoughts of self-harm…

Techniques:
○ The Fourth Akira: Twirl
Description: The user will motion their fan, open, upon a single finger, spinning it like a pin wheel. The bladed fan will likely be able to slice through flesh as if a rotary saw

○ The Fourth Akira: Exchange
Description: While spinning both fans at once, the user will flip them up into the air and catch them with the index fingers on the opposite hands, continuing the spinning motion. Though this seems trivial, it becomes apparent why the technique was developed later on

○ The Fourth Akira: Point
Description: The user extends both arms, forward, and flips both fans together using their wrists- the two appearing as one. Again, using only their wrists, the user will flip both fans upward, and throw one high overhead. They will then spin around, to catch the falling fan. During this spin, the user is both nimble and deadly, as they have full usage of the hand still bearing a fan

○ The Fourth Akira: Complete
Description: While spinning their fans atop their fingers, the user will quickly exchange the fans to opposite hands…after catching each fan, the user will flip both fans upward, making it appear as though there is only one fan. They will then proceed by flipping the fan upward, as a distraction, spin backward or forward (depending on how the fan is thrown) and catch the falling fan with their open hand. During this nimble step, the user has complete control over a likely distracted target, allowing them to slice with the hand still holding a fan

○ Return
Description: The user will attach a light line of chakra to the handle of their fan before throwing them at an opponent, causing them to retract on the user’s whim. This technique can also be applied to the fans if they have been knocked out of the users hands
• Max range 10 yards

○ Carousel of Death
Description: The user spins both open fans amongst a single arm, after increasing their stamina and stability via chakra infusion, creating a full spread pinwheel of blades- Due to the speed they are spun, it seems more like the user’s arm is simply enveloped in rotating saws.
• Able to cut through un-tempered steel

○ Kiss of Death
Description: The user channels chakra into the tips of the blades of their fans, causing each point to glow a deep purple color. Though this effect does not last long, the rewards are immense…If the opponent is cut by these glowing edges, they will be inflicted with a viral poison that will slowly begin to eat away at their body. If it is not cleansed within 3 posts, the user will grow faint- if it is not cleansed within 6 posts, the user will faint- and finally, if the poison is not cleansed within 10 posts, the user will die a slow painful death

○ Spin Burst:
Description: The user will spin their hand in a fast motion, creating a ring of razor sharp chakra. This ring of chakra has the unique ability to slice through all Kekkei Genkai created materials.

Stage Five: B-Ranked

Description: Akira- Focus: After coming to a complete understanding of the previous methods, the user is now at the point of learning the most important lesson- Focus… Through vast meditation, the user begins to discover how to control their powers with precession, and power, without seeming lethal. Techniques:
○ The Fifth Akira: Crescent
Description: The user shifts one foot to cross the other, bending it as they step. During this simple movement, they will also raise one arm, fan open, in a swinging motion, meanwhile, the opposite arm is performing an exact mirrored action…If in a condensed area, both fans should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor, but never actually make contact

○ The Fifth Akira: Full Moon
Description: From a dipping and spinning position, the user will shift forward, twisting around while weaving both arms through the air, both fans open. Each fan should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor but never actually make contact

○ The Fifth Akira: Shifting Moon
Description: With a twisting, rotating, step, the user will flip both fans overhead, coming to a full rotation, they will then catch both fans by the flat tips of the blades. This is a simple evading step technique that can also dazzle the opponent

○ The Fifth Akira: Darting Moon
Requirements: Requires three additional posts to learn
Description: The user will take their open fans by the flat tip of the blade and fling them like a disc at an incredible speed. Because of the beautiful speed, the fans become more like rotating saw blades than anything else, able to cut through most organic materials, aside tempered metal and crystal. But, their power and speed is not their only benefit…because of the way these fans are tossed, they will return to the user even if they make full impact on the initial toss, operating more like a boomerang than anything else. However, if the user is not very well taught in this technique, it can result in their own hand removal…

○ The Fifth Akira: Complete
Description: The user begins by shifting one foot over the other, kneeling as they move forward bringing one open fan overhead, and the other in a lower swinging motion, mimicking the overhead. After the swing has come to a finish, they will perform a mirrored technique, on the opposite foot. With one arm and fan still high, the user will then throw that fan up, catching it as it comes back on its bladed edge. To finish, the user will fling the fan at incredible speeds, causing it to appear as if a solid razor ring- Because of the spin on the fan, the thing will return to the thrower even if it makes impact on the initial throw

○ Concentration
Description: Any technique performed in ‘Stance Five: Akira- Focus’ has its damage increased by one rank (C ► B, B ► A) for a short amount of time
• Lasts six posts

○ Peace
Requirements: Cannot move for two posts
Description: The user remains perfectly still for a short amount of time and regenerates enough chakra to perform two additional B ranked techniques


Stage Six: A-Ranked

Description: Akira- Finale: Having come to full knowledge and understanding of the previous stances, the user has managed to gather the grace and beauty required to at long last flourish as a user of the Akira Arts…The user will begin by training their leg muscles under extreme pressure, followed by their arms, and finally the torso…

Techniques:
○ The Sixth Akira: Rebound
Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will quickly line the blades of the fan with a hefty amount of chakra, causing them to glow an eerie black. The user then proceeds by immediately tossing the fan again- due to the speed, and chakra, the fan is more like a razor wind wheel than anything else, capable of cutting through materials like tempered steel (but not crystal)

○ The Sixth Akira: Duster
Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will perform three hasty spins, bending their leg straight up on the second spin. During these spins the user has complete motional control over their body (unless hindered) allowing them to move at normal speeds regardless of the terrain. Whence the third spin has come to a halt, the user will bend forward, slashing in a heavy downward motion capable of tearing massive sections of flesh clean off. Should the blades be entrusted by poisoning techniques, the effects would not only be applied, but also amplified…
• Reduces the time required for ‘Kiss of Death’ stages to take effect by 1 each

○ The Sixth Akira: True Beauty
Description: This technique seems to have no effect on its own…The user simply readjusts their position, legs straight forward, arms to their sides, and fans closed…

○ The Sixth Akira: Complete
Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will quickly line their fan with chakra, causing them to shine with a black aura. The user will follow by tossing the fan at incredible speeds capable of cutting through solid tempered steel. After catching the fan whence it has boomeranged from the initial toss, the user will spin anywhere from two to ten times, allowing perfect movement on any surface. The user attempts to close the distance using these spins, and when they have come to the desired position, spring out their hands- fans open. The horizontal slashing motion that is caused by the combination of spinning and erect arms results in incredible flesh rending power- additionally, should the blades of the fan be poisoned, the afflicted will feel their effects slightly sooner. Upon completing this slashing gesture, the user will tap their foot on the ground, echoing a hollow sound as a thin aura of chakra spins around them. The user will reset their footing to a simple sturdy stance, and place their hands to their sides, fans closed…The aura that was moments ago present will be absorbed by the user, resulting in a great boost of ability…

Description: The user will remain perfectly still for a short period of time, forcing the natural chakra flow of their body to work in multiples- healing them of the damage caused by 2 A Ranked techniques, and breaking any chakra flow obstructions
