The scent was how he'd found the place the first time around. How could he have missed that heavenly smell in the area? It was an oasis, one that King frequented. When he stepped through the doors, a smile came to his face, the gentle tones of the dried leaves and flowers not quite strong enough to overpower, but enough to cover the other less pleasant smells.

He'd been ready to head back in after finishing half the sample he'd been given when a ghoul came his way. He hardly hand time but, he reached out of her, dropping the last of his tea in a rush to save her from a fall. "Miss, you alright?"

He blinked, a bit shocked that she seemed more distraught over tea than he own well being. He could understand the sadness of losing tea, but really the poor ghoul needn't feel so bad. "Tis just a cup, not a whole kettle. I was almost done with it anyway." He took the cup from her spinning it in his hand.

"They also did not fall on us, so, we do not need to change. Really, not so bad." He tried to sooth her with a gentle touch to her back. "Hrm, we might be able to get another sample, but I digress, what is important is that you are unharmed no?" The tea shop sample giver was watching. King was betting they would not be getting the second sample. Stingy.

It was good to hear that she was not hurt, though her cleaning up was unnecessary. He could have done it himself and spared her the trouble. That aside, she made Frost pause with her smile, looking not all that comfortable. ear darted down as she introduced herself. He hadn't done something to offend her did her?

Bowing, the wolfos's ear pricked back up hoping she might relax. "Frost in the Storm. And there is no need, accidents happen. In comparison to other circumstances, this is not bad by any means. Bad would be that we are taking a test or are in detention. Far from that, we're outside a place that serves tea." Smiling her motioned for her to join him inside. "And tea is far from unpleasant."

The smell of the place made him loosen up and relax. If he could have, King would have curled up on a corner and begun to nap. Sadly that wasn't really allowed in the shop, so, he had to fight the urge to nap.

It was a strong urge.

Going to the vast listing of green teas, all on display, his tail swayed back and forth. happy, but not a full blown wag. Lacie's look was only returned with a soft smile as he reached up pulling down a particular green with a lavender infusion. "Well, for relaxing this blend would be good, if mild. It somewhat depends what you're looking for. I personally need a strong tea to keep me up for testing in the future. I have found that.. some teas are not the ideal to aid in staying up to finish things."

Like overdue homework.

"So to answer your first question, yes. I just recently became a Knob. It's nice if..." He paused to find the word. "tumultuous."

Ah, to relax? That wasn't so hard. Her reasons, as somewhat vague as they were, were enough for him to understand. Things kept happening and stress was high, even with prom coming up. "That's not too hard- ah let me look." Putting the one tea back, he pulled out another sample sniffing it before putting it back. Another pulled out and he offered it to her. "A lavender infused tea. Soft it helps calm the senses. Good for rest and relaxation. As for staying up-" Another box of teas was pulled down with no hesitation. "A plain Darjeeling will do."

Ear twitched as she said she was snot. "No doubt you will rise soon enough. We all do with time and experience. And the work is not so much hard as it is... unusual? I came from a very secluded tribe far north so being here is very much a cultural experience."

When she asked about his tribe, King smiled. "Well, we're a large tribe for our kind. Most of us are hunters, a role I am suited for, and a few are gatherers. We live as one pack, my uncle being our alpha. I have.. no brothers aside from pack brothers, but all my kin are sisters. Which is very hard in some ways, though I love them none the less."

When he heard her reasoning to wanting to hear he smiled, going on. "My family lived in our hut, near the communal cave. We had out own cave for the winter, but it was always nicer to go to the main one and sleep with the others of our pack. When I came here I was a bit surprised we did not all sleep in the same area. Sleeping alone seems... lonely. Granted, I have adapted, but then I also have my minipets."

Taking the tea to the counter he began the process of ringing up his order, the cashier smiling as King bought another full tin. "Family is not always by blood. It can be found anytime and with anyone."
