House Baratheon

House Baratheon is one of the Great Houses of Westeros, although also one of the youngest. It is the current royal house. The ancestral Baratheon stronghold is Storm's End, but since becoming the royal house they have also taken possession of the old Targaryen island fortress of Dragonstone, whilst the King rules from the city of King's Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms.
House Baratheon's sigil is a black stag on a gold background. When Robert ascended the Iron Throne, a gold crown was added to the stag, denoting their status as the royal house.

Their words are "Ours is the Fury".

House Caron

House Caron is a vassal house that holds fealty to House Baratheon of Storm's End. Their lands are in the Dornish Marches and their castle is called Nightsong. The head of the family holds the titles of Lord of Nightsong and Lord of the Marches, suggesting that they have dominion over other noble houses from the Marches, the Marcher Lords. The current head of the family is Bryce Caron. The Caron sigil is a field of black nightingales on yellow.

Their words are "No Song so Sweet".

House Tarth

House Tarth is a vassal house that holds fealty to House Baratheon of Storm's End. The family controls the island of Tarth, the Isle of Sapphires, which lies in the Narrow Sea just off the coast of the Stormlands. Their seat is called Evenfall Hall. House Tarth is ruled by Lord Selwyn Tarth, a widower. House Tarth's arms are yellow suns on rose quartered with white crescents on azure.

Their words are not known.

House Trant

House Trant is a noble family from the Stormlands. They are one of the principal houses sworn to House Baratheon. The seat of House Trant is Gallowsgrey. They blazon their shields with azure, a hanged man, sable.

Their words are "So End Our Foes".
