The minutes tick so slowly by as she watched him eat. He had a peace about him, an aura of calm and serenity that floated after him while she watched. It made her smile when she interacted with him, the family. They all assumed she was oh so happy to see them. Actually she was oh so happy to hit them with reality. Really the people of this world were the laziest lot she had ever met. None of them knew how to defend themselves, and all of them were friendly and welcoming to a grinning face. Even one that openly displayed her weapons.
She continued to watch, the way his throat bobbed when he laughed, the lines he got on his brow when he got involved with a serious conversation. Everything, all while delicately nibbling on her food like a lady and politely carrying on a conversation with the lady of the house. Her fork slipped onto her plate for another bite and bit by bit she felt her smile widen. The elderly lady's hand had just reached out to rest on her shoulder, discussing some enrapturing topic that Crimson could care less about when a gasp and choking noise came from the head of the table. All the members turned quickly toward the head of the house as the man grabbed his throat, his face turning red.
Instantly hell broke loose as the family scurried around to find some way to help. The son ran to his father's aid attempting to dislodge the object that could be blocking his throat, the daughters held their father's hand in comfort, the wife was a mess of hysterics wailing and running around, calling for help, begging her deity for mercy. All of them singled in so much on the one in trouble they didn't notice their silent guest.
Crimson just sat there, watching. When the noise increased she slowly rose from her chair and approached the patriarch, her steps silent in the chaos. The family were rushing around trying to decide what to do since it was obvious they could do nothing to save their father. They raced off to find a phone to call emergency services and were screaming at one another as she made her way to his chair. She leaned against him and smiled sweetly as he begged her to help him with his eyes his face turning purpler with each second. He was asking for death and she caressed his cheek before cutting open his throat with her claws. The very substance she was named for began to coat the floor as she fled out a window, the family attempting to process what had just happened in her wake.
The feeling was exhilarating if not hard to come by nowadays. Killing was a part of life and any fool who dared disagree should direct their attention toward nature. Crimson grinned as she flitted from tree to tree, her hair flying behind her and her borrowed dress beginning to rip to shreds as branches grabbed it. A job well done. Now all she wanted was to run off to her gang and share in a round of drinks and maybe some sex but this was a new world. A lonelier world. One where killing was known as murder and was frowned upon, not accepted as a way of life. But there was one person she knew she could count on to share in her joy of the hunt. So Crimson set off to attempt to find Glaive.

Glaive had spent the better part of the day fighting with Ruger, and training with Hazlin. It had been a good day all told. She didn’t see a problem with spending her days like this, though she hadn’t done her job today. She gave a low yawn as she passed by her mother who was sitting in the living room curled up reading, of all the things. Glaive quirked a brow at her and tilted her head moving over to sit on the arm of the couch.
“What’cha reading?” She asked looking over her mother’s shoulder at what was written on the page. Cy gave a soft sigh and lifted her hand to pat her daughter on the head. It was a ritual between the two. It was Cy’s way of showing love when she was busy or when Glaive was being particularly antsy about physical contact that day.
“It’s a book from my world. I doubt it’s something you would like.” She stated looking up at her daughter as she finished the paragraph she had been on.
“But you don’t know that.” Glaive pointed out as she read over a paragraph and promptly stuck her tongue out. Her mother had been correct; it wasn’t at all something she would like. How her mother could read those disgusting romance novels was beyond her. There was no good blood or gore in them, no adventure so she wasn’t sure what her mother saw in them. Then again it wasn’t like she saw her mother read much aside from tactical novels and romance novels.
“Mom, you’re strange.” She stated which earned her a charming laugh from her mother.
“Well, that’s alright I suppose. Better than being normal.” Cy stated as she let her eyes fall back to the book. Glaive turned her nose up before standing up and ruffling her mother’s hair. Which earned her a huff as she scampered off to go annoy someone else; it just wasn’t a good day unless she annoyed her whole family.
Her next victim just so happened to be her sister who was sitting outside curled into Fluff’s side. She would never understand how her sister had fallen for their basic butler slash nanny. There was something just not quite right about that. Though Glaive couldn’t put her finger on it, she settled on the fact that her sister was just strange and had no taste. Not that Glaive didn’t like Fluff, he was a bit… upstanding, for her taste but he was alright. He had done well by her after all, taken care of her through her young years and the like.
“So what does this romantic evening consist of?” Glaive asked as she flopped across them both and was promptly dislodged by her sister vanishing and reappearing on the other side of Fluff. Something Sarin had gotten from her ‘biological’ father, and it made Glaive endlessly jealous. How easy would her job be if she could just vanish and reappear at will? Sarin, on the other hand didn’t seem to care at all for doing much of anything. She was a bit of a primadonna in that aspect, she was so lazy, it drove Glaive up the wall just a little bit.
“Be gone baby sister.” Sarin stated flicking her tail over her sister’s cheek in a almost caressing and caring motion. “I do love you.” Sarin commented after a moment, a sweet smile curling her lips. Glaive wasn’t buying it though as she stood up. Her sister was a natural born liar, she was sure of it. The female had the ability to lie through her teeth with the most simplistic of ease. It was another thing that drove her up the wall, but at the end of the day she did love her sister.
“I’m not buying it.” Glaive stated as she pranced away from them. Waving her hand over her shoulder at the ‘be safe’ and the ‘it’s true’ comments that drifted behind her. She was bored and it was time to fine some fun elsewhere. She needed a good source of entertainment. It was then that a certain redheaded vixen popped into her head, well now there was an idea.
She took off into the trees at an easy pace looking for the femme. She had no real way of knowing where the other was or what she was doing. No way of actually finding her but she figured that if she went far enough out and then just stopped, that Crimson would find her. So it was that she made her way almost to the center of the forest before flopping out in the grass staring up at the darkening sky. If she was lucky Crimson would show up soon and if she wasn’t then this night would prove to be extremely boring. She had faith though, Crimson had a way of just showing up when Glaive needed and or wanted her.

She jumped easily from tree to tree, taking her time as she searched and sniffing the air around her for some familiar scent. The dark sky and shadows made excellent hiding spots as she traveled, her eyes the only give away if any of the idiots below had the intellect to look up for a change. They were lucky they weren't her targets, she would have slit their throats by now.
As time began to pass her agitation grew. She had to be getting close, she knew that her mission had been far from home but her current speed was fast enough that she should be near but her nose wasn't picking up on anything yet and that bothered her. What little patience she had had was snapping. So to speed up her search she flared her magic out further then her nose could smell. The effort was pleasant since she hardly had means for it anymore. This world.....the things she could complain about. So many useless things. Slowing down slightly she leaned against a tree and closed her eyes to allow her magic to take her full concentration. Within a few minutes of use she felt a thrill run down her spine as Glaive finally touched her own magic.
She smirked in amusement, wondering how Glaive would react to the slight trickle of red glow that had appeared and just as quickly disappeared upon touching her. Well she'd get over it. It was the fastest way to locate her and if Crim was right she could get there within minutes. The thought made her smirk larger and she took off at top speed toward the female, her teeth sharpening slightly in anticipation.
When she finally got close she let an idea slip into her head and her smirk turned into a grin. She couldn't hide herself completely from the girl but she could highlight one thing about herself. Turning her eyes onto the dried blood on her hand she allowed her magic to slip into it slowly but surely, renewing it into the bright and sticky liquid it was supposed to be and making it's smell that much worse. Slowly but surely it grew more and more intense and as she got closer she let it hide her own smell. Hoping it would throw the other off she lurked among the branches and watched, surprised that she actually wanted the other to find her. That was a new one.
(Sorry for the short reply! I didn't know what else to put for her not e

Glaive was lazing rather comfortably despite the fact that she was bored. Her eyes drifting open and closed in a lazy manner, as if the world itself held no interest at all; those violet orbs had just begun to drift back open when they caught the flash of scarlet colored magic that shimmered across her body. She arched a singular brow, tail twitching lightly as her ears swiveled back and forth before she came to the conclusion that whatever it had been it was not dangerous. With that she let herself relax back into the grass.
She was just about to give up and go back home to annoy her father some when the first tickle of a smell caught her nose. She let her eyes flutter open as she sat up. The smell was coming from her left, off to the east. This was a curious thing as she was sure it was the smell of blood and human blood at that. She twisted to her feet and glanced around herself, sniffing the air as she did so. As the smell got stronger she could have sworn she caught the scent of Crimson but she could have been wrong. She glanced around once more before she stilled and closed her eyes focusing on the smells themselves.
There were as many smells in the air as there was minutes in a day, the smell of trees, flowers, grass, Glaive herself, mushrooms, pinecones, blood, animals of all sorts, and then there was another smell. It was a light smell and overpowered by the scent of blood but still it was there and she was sure it was Crimson. There were few that neared the Airay household smelling of blood, hell there were few that neared the Airay household of their own free accord. It was just one of those things; they were sort of like the crazy people at the end of the road.
She honed in on the scent of blood and followed it up into the trees. Moving silently through the branches, not even her chains jingling; slowly she circled around till she caught sight of the shimmer of crimson. She had found what she was looking for; she launched herself across the opening to tackle the blood covered femme out of the tree. “Crimson, sneaking up on me like a creeper are we?”
(Sorry that took FOREVER)

Leaning against the tree she allowed her tail to swing silently back and forth as she waited. She was entirely too patient to respond to anything but whenever the other decided to pick up on what was happening. Her muscles were tensed enough to react if needed but she allowed them to relax for the first time since she'd left her mission. Instead she began to check some of her pouches, counting the poisons they contained and how sharp her weapons were and was almost upset when she realized there was nothing she needed to stock up on, which meant she was going to be left with more boring days alone to laze about. Being lazy had always had it's perks but Crimson liked action and the hunt and adrenalin and if something didn't pick up quick she'd probably fall back into habits that some of her housemates would personally kill her for if they could get a hold of her long enough to do so.
Of course she needed to get this damned dress off soon too but that could wait until later. Outfits weren't really her thing and she'd prefer to just leave it here but it was evidence in case the family decided to try to track her. A hilarious thought really because if they even attempted it they could begin counting down the days until she began to pay them visits that ended in bloodshed. She may not be as notorious here but people were quick to catch on that you should try to get revenge on a highly trained assassin, top of her field. It wouldn't end well.
Catching the movement from the corner of her eye at the last moment she smirked and allowed her body to move in tandem with the others, arms wrapping around the pleasant body that was against her and turning quick enough to get them to land halfway on their feet. She had to admit she may have had to lean against a tree slightly but was glad that she could still move like that. She couldn't imagine surviving back home if she lost that ability. "As if you could ever be snuck up on. You would have caught on sooner I just wanted to see if you'd be able to pick up on who I was." Grinning widely she allowed her sharp teeth to poke out of her mouth and her tail to coyly play with the others. Sometimes she wondered whether she should just come out with an invitation to play but she wasn't sure of the other enough just yet to allow that sort of trust.
Looking down at her hands she snickered slightly before letting the other go. "Seems I've gotten you a little dirty. Something tells me you won't mind it much." Letting her magic begin to fade the effects she reached out and swiped one last bloody stripe down the others nose before letting it dry on her claws. "I must say it suits you~" She felt the purr as she said it and let her eyes spark with chaos. Goodness how could people live without this feeling?

Glaive gave a cheeky grin her tail wrapping around Crimson’s in a pleasant manner. “Hmmm, I suppose you are right, it’s rare for me to be snuck up on. Still... if you tried I bet you could.” She winked slightly a smile curving her lips. She enjoyed Crimson so, the female was just such fun. “You should have known I would have been able to sniff you out. You have such a distinct smell Crimson.” She said with a little snort as she rested comfortably against the other. Her tail still twisting and playing with the other’s, the piercing on the end of it tinking slightly in the wind.
Glaive wrinkled her nose cutely at the swipe, her eyes crossing to see if she could see the blood down her nose. She shook her head ears falling back against her hair as she snorted. “No I don’t mind.” She stated with a smile before she tossed her hair back. “Really you think it suits me do you?” She asked fluttering her lashes and posing for the other. “Tell me does it bring out the color of my eyes?” She mused before bursting into giggles and shaking her head pulling back to look at the other.
She arched a brow her giggles subsiding slightly. “What on earth are you wearing?” She asked softly plucking at the dress in mild fascination. “Oh good heavens don’t you look like just one of those really cute little ladies. Walking around carrying a parasol. Or well... would have been had it not been all torn up.” She stated smirking at her, a devious look entering her eyes as her tail moved to flick back and forth. Crimson had to be slower in that dress, just had to be right? Well lets see just how slow she would be. “Your it.” She stated licking her cheek before zipping off.

Humming in approval at the thought, but not entirely agreeing she wondered if they ever had a killing competition who would win. While she was older, and more experienced, she had a feeling she wouldn't exactly be on her game. She would have a fine piece of tail right next to her, covered in blood and more then enjoying it which always made her a little bit less excited about being the one to win. Smirking at that she widened her eyes innocently, acting surprised. "Me? Have a distinct smell? Are you saying I need to bathe more? My how rude~" Letting her fangs hang out of her mouth she twisted her tail around the other's enjoying the feel of them rubbing against each other. It made her thoughts take a darker, dirtier turn.
Chuckling at the cute face she wondered how someone so bloodthirsty could also act so adorable. If she didn't know better she might think she was corrupting the girl......not that there was anything wrong with that. "Oh more then suits you kitten. You look ravishing in blood. I'd say Crimson looks good on you." Feeling her grin crack across her face she wondered if she'd catch the dirty play of her words. Gosh, she was acting like she was about to go into heat and for once the thought didn't disturb her.
Glancing down at her outfit she snorted as she watched Glaive play with it. "I had been. Imagine, me all dolled up and acting elegant and graceful in a house so full of things you could sell all of it and the next ten generations of your family could live richly their entire lives. Thank god I got to ruin it by killing the patriarch off. It was wonderfully chaotic near the end." Feeling the lick her fur stood up on end and she laughed loudly as she took off after her prey. The chase was in her blood, now how long would it take her to catch her prize?
