"Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
So this is a magical girl roleplay. Magical girls are defined as thus from Wikipedia: "...young girl heroes with superhuman abilities, forced to fight evil and to protect the Earth." Examples of this are Sailor Moon, Shugo Chara!, and Cardcaptor Sakura. For additional information (from what I can tell, it's pretty accurate in the basics) visit this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_girl1) This is a deeply emotional, twisted roleplay. Magical girls WILL turn into Witches. Maybe not all of them, but maybe most of them. 2) The character needs to be pretty thought out previous to the start of the roleplay. His/her strengths, weaknesses, flaws, likes, dislikes, etc. Put a lot of thought into your character before you make him/her/it. This is because all of this information will really come into play because of the wish your character chooses. If you rethink your character and decide you wanna make minor tweaks to the skelly to suit what you're thinking, that's fine. Just let me know; I'll more than likely okay it. 2a) Normal Puella occur in the ages of 12-19. If your character is any older than that, they had better be badass and amazingly scarred by her experiences. If they're any younger, she had better have a fantastic reason for making that pact. 3) Everybody should listen to the song given in the link at top of the roleplay, to the left in the first post. Not everyone may like the genre, but it sets the theme perfectly for this roleplay. The other one is kind of an alternate theme, but definitely listen to the first one. 4) NO REPEATED WEAPONS OR POWERS PLEASE. Wishes however, can be really similar. We all generally want the same thing out of life, after all. 4a) Upon making the wish and complying to the agreement, your character will automatically know how to use the weapon she's given (aka you chose). If your character knew how to use the weapon beforehand, she will become a god (metaphorically) at it. If your character knew a previous weapon before being blessed with her magical weapon, only by wielding the magical weapon can her powers be used (unless the wish she makes provides the exception). 5) Your character can start out as a Witch. Previous to becoming one, she could either A] Have been a Puella that turned, B] a normal girl/woman that was consumed by misery/committed suicide/violently murdered, C] A familiar of a Witch that gained enough power to become a Witch itself. Whichever one it is needs to be explained in the skeleton. 6) Men cannot become Witches or Puella. They can become familiars, however. If they become a familiar, they stop being completely human. They become a sort of abstract resemblance of half-man, half-beast, and can only live in the Witch's domain. If they ever leave, they become severely weakened and quickly die. The familiar's job is to keep watch over the Witch's lair and attack Puella when they appear or alert the Witch when the Puella can't be defeated. Men can become familiars by A] Being consumed by a Witch's power or B] Being swallowed in misery or kill themselves near/in a Witch's domain. Familiars do not come to be by choice. Women who become familiars can become Witches by absorbing enough power and killing/enslaving enough people. However, there is a creature that is a step above a familiar. 7) A Mexetra is a Witch's right hand man. These creatures have to be men, and serve as the eyes and ears of Witches outside of their domain. Mexetra are born when a man walks willingly into the arms of a Witch (either by being seduced with power, sex, or tricked). They retain their human form, but carry a brand on their back, the brand differing with the Witch. They are incredibly powerful, but because they feed off the power of the Witch herself, she can only support a limited amount of them. Killing a Mexetra is a direct assault on the Witch who owns him. Their job is to keep an eye out for possible Puella, and to kill identified Puella when they're most vulnerable. Most Puella (except fresh ones) can sense the presence of both Mexetra and Witches. However, exceptionally skilled Mexetra  and Witches can mask their power and seem like normal humans at first glance.
9] The wish your character makes thus defines them from there on out. Depending on the wish, it could either make them, or break them. Let's give an example (actually from the series):
A middle school girl has a crush on a boy in her grade. He used to be amazing at the violin. However, an accident happened, and now he is forever incapable of moving his hands, fingers, or wrists. Her wish to Kyubey is to heal his hands, and the wish is granted and he can play again.
However.
Not long after he is healed, a friend of the newly-turned Puella (the one who made the wish), admits to her that she is going to admit her love for the violinist. The Puella, without the courage to tell the boy she loves him first, falls into the darkness.
So as you can see, the wish you make is the defining moment for what your character could become or what she will be. This is why, like your characters, you must choose your wish wisely.
9a] Your character can turn into Puella during the roleplay. When she makes her wish, you will need to make minor tweaks to the skeleton, but that'll be it.
10] THIS IS A MAGICAL GIRL ROLEPLAY. THERE WILL BE GLITTER. AND PRETTY CLOTHES. AND PRETTY TRANSFORMING SEQUENCES. AND PROBABLY IMAGINARY MAGICAL GIRL MUSIC. However, there will also be death, drama, and insanity. This isn't one of those happy-go-lucky-oh-everything-will-work-out-in-the-end kinda roleplays. People will die. Puella will become Witches, and they will kill people they loved. There is no way to heal a Witch. Once a Puella turns, the only saving grace another Puella could give her former fellow is death.
11] Now that we've made that very clear, let's move on with the skellington, and how to survive in this Witch playground.

 1] The darkness is always present. When girls turn into Puella, their souls are taken out of their bodies and placed into magical crystals. Many of the Puella don't know this, however, because they keep the crystal with them at all times. If someone steals the crystal, or the Puella drops/loses it, her body becomes lifeless and cold. The crystal must remain on the Puella at all times. The colors of the crystal differ according to the Puella who owns it.
 2] Souls of Puella are placed into crystals in order to make the body more effective. It feels less pain, has more stamina, and can take more of a beating that it would if the soul was still inside the body. Separating body from soul is also a way to protect the soul from the severe damage the body will experience.
2a] If the Puella wills it, the crystal can transform into a medallion, necklace, pendant, bracelet, anklet, whatever. Many Puella do this because it makes the crystal harder to lose or be taken away.
 3] The more power a Puella uses, the more darkness fills her heart (as seen in the way her crystal will get darker and darker). She can cleanse the darkness from her soul by using Witch Seeds, little walnut-sized treasures that witches drop when they're defeated. Generally, the longer a Puella manages to stick around and survive, the longer she can use her power without having to cleanse her crystal. However, no matter how strong or how old the Puella, if her crystal goes completely black, it will break and the soul will emerge into the world as a newly-turned Witch. The more powerful the Puella, the stronger the Witch she creates.
 3a] Witches have two sides to them. They appear human in daylight and can wander freely, but when night comes they must retreat back to their own realms and transform into their true selves. They are usually undetectable during the day (if they're not using their powers), and are much more elusive when the sun is up. Therefore, to efficiently track and destroy Witches, the hunt must happen at night. Hunting at night also makes it harder for the Witch to potentially identify Puella outside of battle, during the daytime.
 4] The amount of Puella that exist are becoming less and less, as Witches are taking an hyper-aggressive approach to the dangerous balance. More Puella are getting killed, or turning into Witches, and the need for young girls to act as both protectors of the populace and hunters is now more urgent than ever. It's as if the Witches are preparing for something, and their ranks are continuing to swell.
5] In order to stop from becoming a Witch, you must cleanse your crystal, and your heart must remain pure and true to your wish. But that is always harder that it sounds.
As you can see, the cycle is endless. Witches are created from Puella, and yet Puella are the only ones who can destroy them. Will you remain pure? Or will you succum to the darkness?
"Darkness spawns from death of light. Light spawns from fear of the darkness. So what happens when fear becomes obsolete? What will spawn when those in the darkness decide to fight back?"

 1] Now, for Witches, your realms can be huge, depending on your strength. They can take up stories, buildings, even city blocks. Every normal human that wanders into your realm or is sucked in are instantly petrified, turning in living, breathing stone. 2] When these humans wander in, Witches have a few choices. A] To make the human a familiar, B] to eat them, C] to use them as bait for other humans (or Puella, if the Puella have been identified. They can also be used to lure in potential Mexetra) D] or to leave them there as decorations. Only Puella and Mexetra can sense or realize the presence of a Witch's Realm. But anyone can enter them. A Witch's realm seems like normal ground to normal humans, until they accidentally stumble in and are forever still.  2a] However, when a Witch is defeated, all humans that haven't been turned or eaten are released, with no memory of what happened. All familiars die, however. Mexetra, on the other hand, can be recruited by other Witches. Mexetra does not die with his witch. 3] The realm of a Witch is abstract and almost hallucinogenic, featuring strange creatures (the familiars) and other moving and shifting parts that can make someone very, very nauseous. The realm reflects the inner heart of the Witch in its entirety. Her hopes, her dreams, and her despairs before and after she became a Witch. Tomoe [the one in yellow] is a badass. This tidbit also gives you a little insight into how exactly you can define your character's powers. Though please remember you're not limited to just this.) Puella Magi Mami Vs Gertrud 4] Many of the Witches have become much more aggressive, actively hunting and killing Puella without waiting for the Puella to enter their realms. They're also kidnapping, turning, and killing those close to identified Puella. Not all of the Witches know why, but they can all sense that something's coming, and they must prepare for it by eliminating as much of the resistance as they can. 5] The powers of Witches are a little darker than of Puella, but if a Witch was originally Puella, her powers will reflect those she once had. If she wasn't a Puella, her powers will reflect her heart and how she died and what she dreamed of- Witches that were not originally Puella also tend to be weaker than those that were.  6] If you wanna be twisted, you can totally make your Witch character a girl that's friends with the Puella in school. She can know they're Puella, she can not know they're Puella, whatever. It's an idea. A ******** up, awesome idea, lol. Just remember that the Witch character can't been seen by normal humans at night, otherwise she'll be found out as a Witch. And a Witch out of her realm during the night is a sitting duck. 7] Now, I am officially done blabbing. ON WITH THE SKELETON! (and thank you for reading all of that)

Also. Write your posts in third person, but send me your profile in first person. Also give me a second color that will relate to your character. (The name of the color as said color will do just fine. Like firebrick for example.) One more thing. Give me a 100x100 icon picture of your character's face.
