This is a list of negative status effects caused by the chaos stone as well as the boon they grant if overcome. Roll the dice to pick an effect. Each player will have to overcome the effect individually which will be decided at a later time. For now just enjoy the chaos!


1) Drowsy: Hmm? Oh, did it move? You feel very tired and your perception is down. You are not as alert as you should be. Things may move near to you and you may not notice them or you may not be aware of attacks coming in until they are very close. Boon: Once you overcome this effect your perception is heightened and you can sense incoming attacks from a distance.

2) Jealousy: Why should I help you, I saw how you were looking at that elf! You suddenly feel jealous about everyone around you! Either you are threatened by their looks and physique or you are interested in someone and do not want them to interact with anyone but you! You will not give help or receive help from anyone while you are in a jealous state. Boon: Once you overcome this effect and help you give to others will have a greater effect.

3) Insomnia: How can you sleep peacefully when there's so many things out there to kill you? Due to poor rest the rate at which you heal is halved. Boon: Once you overcome this effect you will heal 10% faster than normal.

4) Jittery: Did you hear that? Or that? I think something is coming! You are too distracted to react to the first strike in combat. Boon: Once you overcome this effect you cannot be taken by surprise.

5) Clumsy: Oops! Ouch! Pretend you didn't see that. >> Suddenly you are tripping over your own feet and fumbling your weapons! Boon: Once you overcome this effect you will not miss your first strike on any target.

6) Phobic: Spiders? I hate spiders! You are suddenly afraid of everything and if an enemy charges at you fall prone and cower. Boon: Once you overcome this effect you fear nothing and can help your teammates overcome their effect.

7) Squeamish: Ew gross! You become hesitant toward bloodied creatures. Boon: Once you overcome this effect the sight of blood excites you and boots your spirits.

8 ) Mistrustful/ paranoid: I don't like the way you were looking at me. You are suddenly suspicious of everyone around you are won't let anyone within arms reach. You also won't allow them to touch your things. They might steal them! Boon: Once ou overcome this effect your teamwork increases and you can easily find rythm with any of your teammates, making you a dynamic duo!

9) Wrathful: I don't care what it takes, you're going to pay for that! You anger easily and don't let things go. This can often cause your group to get side tracked as you absolutely must resolve your issue before anything else! Boon: Once you overcome this effect your clear head will help keep people focused. You will be able to rationalize and calm others more effectively.

10) Hopeless: We're done for, let's just surrender. You're completely apathetic. It will be hard for your teammates to get you to care or put in any effort because you just don't see the point. In the end it will all just be futile anyway. Boon: Once you overcome this effect, your words will have more impact on other people and can either inspire them in positive ways or cut them down. Others be ware of your silver tongue!

11) Covetous: It's mine, I called it! Or maybe I didn't... but it's still mine! If you see it and you want it, well you're going to get it aren't you? Due to this mentality, you will do anythig and everything to take what you think rightfully belongs to you. Besides, if they can't protect it then they weren't worthy of having it. Boon: Once you overcome this effect nothing can be stolen off your person, not even in your sleep and you will be able to spot any thievery going on around you.

12) Delusional: You guys take the hounds, I'll take that puple people eater. Frankly, you're seeing things and maybe hearing things too. Boon: Once you overcome this effect your insight is heightened and you will be able to see into people's true motives. You my friend will not be easy to deceive!

13) Forgetful: What are we doing here again? I seem to remember being here for a reason, but I can't remember. Hopefully your buddy's memory is better than yours because information goes in one ear and out the other. Boon: Once you overcome this effect your memory will be crystal clear, photographic even. One glance at another teams map and you will be able to get through the territory as if it was the back of y our hand.

14) Indomitable spirit: We will triumph and we will win! We are heroes and nothing can bring us down! Your spirit is so strong that you are unaffected by the chaos stone.

15) Rampant despair: This is a disaster. Poor you, you get to roll twice now and suffer with two status effects! Looks like the chaos stone got you good. BWAHAHAHAHA!

16) Over thinking: Wait, but if I do this then he'll do this right? You suddenly find yourself obsessively thinking about the simplest things and trying to calculate every possibility. In battle you could find yourself waiting a little too long to strike because you're too busy thinking about your attack! Boon: Once you overcome this effect your reflexes will be able to act on instinct alone. You will find yourself reacting more quickly and with more precision than normal.

17) God complex: You think you can defeat me!? Bring it on baby! You suddenly become much more aggressive, taking a fight whenever you can get it. You are bored and even restless in the absence of a fight, going so far as to pick them with your teammate. It would not be out of character to charge head first into a fight without a plan of any sort. Boon: Once you overcome this effect you will be able to think clearly and with a level head. Others will find it difficult to goad your anger or trick you into making brash decisions.
