Biography: After waking up in Rukongai with no prior memories of his past, he was adopted by the kind residents of first Rukon District in North Rukongai. After about a year of being nameless, he finally learned how to read and write and began to call himself Genova. The villagers all treated him kindly and they all became his family. He was rather popular with the villagers, making a lot of friends and memories. However, one day, wolves attacked the village. Some were killed and many were injured. As for Genova, he had suffered an especially bad mauling, and it was a miracle he was even still alive. His entire body was mutilated with scars, save his face, which he had protected with his arms. Struck with guilt that he wasn't able to even protect the district that had treated him so kindly, he went into the woods to live and become stronger, despite the villagers' protests. So a few years went by with him living in trees, eating berries, hunting animals and strengthening his own body and soul. Not a day went by did he not think of the villagers, as he had never removed the bandages that had covered his entire scarred body. On the night of a full moon, Genova witnessed another wolf pack heading towards the village. Not wanting another tragedy to happen again, he took on the wolf pack with nothing more than a single torch. He did well fending them off at first, but the wolves had the advantage in numbers. As they slammed him to the ground and tore through bandages and old wounds, he cursed his own weakness. His inability to defend his people and desire to grow stronger was what unlocked his latent Shinigami powers. In a flash of monochrome reiatsu, the wolves were all blasted away from him and were dazed from the force. The bandages he wore were no longer the dirty white bandages that he had wore, but gray and full of power. This was indeed his Zanpakuto. Fully ready to kill the wolves that had plagued his village, he began to realize that they were all backing away from him in fear. In their eyes, he could see the same fear that the villagers had of the wolves. Killing them would be no different. He silently departed without a word, leaving the wolves alone. As the years passed on, his Shinigami powers grew and Genova became a friend of the forest. With time and patience, even the wolves began to trust him. Just like in the village, he was also beloved by all the creatures in the forest. There was no doubt that he had a knack for befriending anything, be it people or animals. After many long years, he finally returned to his district, surrounded by the very wolves that the villagers feared. At first, people ran from him in fright. After all, Genova looked nothing more than a robber with his changed appearance and black bandages. Plus, no one would dare approach him as the wolves surrounded him. There was but a single person that approached him, though. It was the grandmother of a childhood friend that he had loved, who had perished in the prior wolf attack. With solemn eyes, she affirmed that he was the Genova that she knew, and that she believed that he would always come back. Thus, Genova replied, "I apologize in the utmost if I have offended you by bringing the very same killers that have murdered your beloved granddaughter." The grandmother simply replied with words that he would forever hold in his heart. "You have beautiful eyes Gen...eyes so beautiful that you can see the kindness and purity in everyone's hearts.
Things eventually settled down in the district. Though wary at first, the villagers began to accept the presence of the tamed wolves and other creatures that would occasionally wander in from the forest. They greeted the adult Genova with much tears and kindness, reminiscing back when he was nothing more than a short little kid. After spending a year back in the district, he finally decided to become a full fledged Shinigami. He skipped enrollment in Shino Academy, instead, joining the Gotei 13 outright. He decided the join the Seventh Division of Seireitei and Rukongai Diplomacy, in order to express his views with others. He fit in quickly as usual, being well known with all the squad members. Eventually, he began to fill out an application for Lieutenant of the Seventh Division. However, the application required a fill-in of the applicant's first and last name. Always known as just "Genova", he wasn't sure what to do. He eventually filed away the paper in his barracks, leaving it for tomorrow's work. The next day, he couldn't find the application where he had placed it the night before. When asking his squad members, they all just laughed and congratulated him for being accepted as the Lieutenant for Division Seven. Apparently, his squad members had taken the application and filed it under the name of "Sven Genova". When asking how they decided the name, they explained that there was a typo on the paperwork. Instead of saying "Division Seven", it said "Division Sven". Thus, they named him after the "name" of the squad.

Shikai Abilities:
- Bandage Manipulation - A passive ability. This allows the user to control an infinite amount of bandages from the user's body that have a regenerative ability when destroyed, so long as the user is continuously supplying reiatsu. Though seemingly normal bandages, they have a sharp cutting power and are able to slam cleanly through regular solid metal.
Gravity Manipulation - A passive ability. This allows the user to manipulate the gravity of anything the user's bandages touch. The user can generate a force so great that the target is rendered immobile.

Bankai Abilities:
- Flutter Step - An extremely advanced version of Shunpo. The user uses a Shunpo past the target, leaving behind a flurry of butterflies where the user originally stood. By this point, the attack has either hit or missed. However, the attack is only visible after the hit has launched, meaning that the actual visibility of the attack has a lag time. The launched attack is an invisible carving blade of reiatsu that hits anything in a straight line in between the user and the butterflies (the user's original position). To the naked eye, it would seem as if the target was invisibly hit before the actual attack had happened.
Trance - The user converts the bandages into a flurry of butterflies. These butterflies corrode whatever they touch through a process of breaking down Reiryoku. The damage is similar to fire, only with no real flames. Alone, they pose no major threat, but in swarms, they can severely corrode and injure the target at a rapid pace. When meeting with blood, the butterflies will melt into the user's bloodstream and directly attack the nerves of the invaded limb, sending a message of extreme pain to the target.
Advent - The bandages covering the user all burst completely, covering the user from sight in a cloud of butterflies and monochrome reiatsu. The user encased in a chrysalis for one post, full to the brim with reiatsu. In the event that the outer shell of the chrysalis breaks with a powerful attack, all of the user's reiatsu to leak out, causing a massive explosion of raw reiatsu in a 30 ft radius that causes devastating destruction and leaving the user with only 0.01% of reiatsu left. However, if the chrysalis is not broken, the user transforms into a butterfly. In this final form, the user is able to manipulate gravity at will. However, there is a three second lag of control at ranged objects. When manipulating gravity at a ranged object, the user must hold a steady focus on the object or area with the user's hand for three seconds before manipulation can occur. This means that this will not work on a target that moves out of the user's focus before the three seconds are up. The user can only control an object or area at one time when using this ranged ability, but he can use gravity manipulation on as many objects/areas as the user wants without the three second lag, so long as contact is made.
