Now that...that had been a Flight. Frustratingly long, to be sure, but that just meant both dragons and riders held within their dragons' minds and emotions had been willing to make it worth their while. B'nen had no complaints now, and by the feel of his dragon in his mind...well, Gneisth was feeling pretty sharding proud of himself.
Taith was hard to win. Of course I am proud, the brown rumbled, perched with the large green in what B'nen supposed was the draconic equivalent of cuddling.
Yeah, yeah, you did good, B'nen allowed, smirking. The rider wasn't half bad looking either, which was always nice...

Keela always hated it when her green decided to stretch the Flights on for impossibly long times, but shards had that been worth it. Not to say that she still wasn't going to throw a bucket of water or something at her dragon later, but for the moment she was very much content. She didn't particularly know this kid, but hey, the Flight had been good. Both in the air and on the ground.
Of course it was. Only the best could hope to catch me, the green remarked smugly, quite content with her current cuddle-buddy. It only makes sense for His to be just as good.
Oh shush. The last thing she needed was to over-inflate anyone's ego. Glancing at the brownrider with a smirk of her own, she remarked, "Not bad. Your brown put up quite the chase."

"And your green led quite the chase - Taith's Flights always like that?" B'nen asked, slightly amused as he took the compliment for his dragon with a little half nod. "Because I think Gneisth might be a bit besotted..."
Besotted? I am appreciative, Gneisth interjected, broadcasting to all the parties involved lest his rider get too much of a say. He could tease His right back...
"Can see where it could get a bit frustrating though," B'nen continued, entirely ignoring Gneisth for the moment as he spoke to the rider. Though he had no knowledge of the threat Keela had given her dragon back during the Flight, there was no denying she'd been rather eager once the green was caught...

Good, cause you've got a fair amount to appreciate, the green replied with a pleased rumble, wraping her tail over his. Good Flights were the best.
"Most of them are, yes," Keela replied, amused by the brown's return comment but declining on replying back to it. "There've been a couple of times where she was caught early on when she got a bit too daring in her moves, but otherwise she definitely likes to make her pursuers work for it." Which, yes, got terribly frustrating when the Flight stretched out for a particularly long time. Taith was always so reluctant to simply choose someone...

"As well they should," B'nen offered, propping himself up on an elbow and offering Keela another smile. "Bet you two make a formidable pair in your Wing too. Perhaps Gneisth and I will have to see if we can keep up when there isn't massive amounts of instinct driving him on."
As I recall, it is you who are the lazy one. Gneisth, thankfully, bespoke B'nen alone, but it was still a near thing to keep from pulling a face at his brown's criticism. You are trying to impress this one?
I know you're a dragon and you can't judge these things, but yes, Gneisth, 'this one' is attractive, and, more importantly, at the moment seems to think well of me. Don't screw it up.
You are the one talking to her and more likely to screw it up, Gneisth reminded B'nen, sounding amused. Sharding smug dragons. Just because their matings were simple and uncomplicated...

Keela simply smirked. "Good luck with that," she remarked, doubting they could keep up in wing drills when it had taken as long as it had simply to catch Taith in a Flight. "You're more than welcome to try, of course, but we're a hard pair to match." They made sure of that.
As if anyone could ever beat us in drills.
Of course not. Doesn't hurt to offer a bit of hope though.
