Lesedi was patrolling again and feeling rather encouraged by the outcome of his first rogue challenge a few day before. In all honesty, it’s not as if he’d expected to lose and winning against a girl hardly seemed like an achievement worth boasting about – then again, some of those female Reavers were pretty scary - but it was certainly encouraging to start his first patrolling actions on a good note.
So here he was again, ready to fulfill his duty to the pride. It was grey a windy day and catching a scent was proving to be difficult, forcing the tawny lion tried to rely more on his sight.

He'd won his fight against the gray lioness whom challenged just a short while earlier. As far as Firaga knew, that was all he needed to become one of them. Little did he know his fight had been pointless. However he didn't know, and so he boldly, confidently, made his way towards the pride's lands. He was still disheveled from the fight. Some wounds already had blood crusting over. The evidence was all there than he'd fought. He was about to learn that the fight had been for naught. Although Firaga, the Silent Force, did not show his fatigue, it was there. The challenge that awaited him would end in him losing. Firaga's ego would take the biggest beating. Still, he knew this was where he wanted to be....

Oh, Lesedi hadn’t been expecting company to pop up so soon. His green eyes locked on the approaching shape, narrowing with a hint of annoyance. Who did that guy think he was? Entering the pride lands as if he owned the place… obviously, someone had to put him in his place.
Lesedi roared to make his presence known and quickly closed the distance between himself and the other male, taking note of his interesting markings with one glance. They reminded him a little of Aesir's and the tawny lion wonder briefly if they were perhaps related.
“Stop, stranger. You are trespassing on the lands of the Stormborn.” He told the dark lion, growling quietly under his breath. “Are you passing through or have you come to challenge us?”

Firaga stopped and stared rather blankly at the lion who approached, silently. This was certainly some reception.
"I have already won my fight against the one called 'Ember.' My name is Firaga," he explained in a voice that seemed to not rise above a husk, loud whisper.
He was young, but a seasoned fighter. All his life had been spent fighting to make it day-to-day. Hat had become of his family members he knew not. if any resided in the pride, he doubt he would remember them - much less they remember him. So when it came to admittance to the pride, he had no choice but to fight. His life was still one big battle yet....

Ember? Ember, Ember…
Lesedi was terrible with names and even more so when they pertained to the females of the pride but thankfully he’d overheard a conversation regarding that particular Freeborn. He looked at the stranger with a deep frown as the wheels slowly turned in his head. Yes, Ember was a girl from Aesir’s b*****d litter, one who had begun or was about to begin her training as a Priestess. Thank the Gods for gossiping tongues.
“A grey girl with fire hair?” The lion did not seem to be lying but he showed no exhaustion or serious injury. Lesedi watchd carefully, taking a few steps to stand in the way of the dark lion. “If that is true, then you’ve have been deceived. Ember is not a warrior of the pride. She doesn’t have the authority to allow anyone in. Only those who have proved themselves and earned the rank of Reaver may accept challenges.”
For a moment Lesedi almost felt sorry for the other lion. In his very prejudiced mind, the tawny lion was assuming Firaga had been tricked by the lioness into fighting with him probably to satisfy her whims. Tricky and deceptive, females were indeed and this was just one more piece of evidence to remember.
“You’ll have to fight again.” He concluded in what he believed to be a less antagonizing way. "Come back tomorrow."

He had been deceived? Firaga couldn't help the slightest widening of his amber eyes at this revelation. Deceived by a petty, battle-hungry, lioness... In part it did hurt his ego, but then again, how was he to know? The lioness, Ember, would have known. And she deceived him in to believing that he... Oh, the next time he saw that lioness....it would not be a happy meeting. "That would be the one... Deceived," he sighed... "Then you will fight me tomorrow." It was not a question, simply a statement. Firaga waited to see the lion's reaction, and whether he would accept.

Lesedi would’ve definitely been offended if the other lion had insisted on fighting him today. If he’d expected to win against the tawny lion when he was not at his best, Lesedi would’ve been merciless in proving him otherwise. Not that this would really make him more agreeable the next time they met, mind you. An askorun had to be taken seriously and considering the odd circumstances of Lesedi’s last challenge, the tawny lion believed it all the more.
“I will be here.” Lesedi said simply, his tone as he gave dark lion the words of the Stormborn greeting. It was always fun to see how strangers reacted to them. “One day I will kill you.”
