Standing at the gates of Amityville, Poke looked across the school grounds and towards the building, still trying to wrap her head around the fact that this was not a visit. She was a actual student, and this was her first day on campus. All the paperwork had been done, she had received her skull pin, and there were gnomes currently shepherding some of her belongings to the monster dorm rooms.
It was hard to hide the grin that crept over her face. Nor was it hard to not hear the chuckle that left her lips, which quickly turned into a cackle. She had made it into such a prestigious school, equipped with her own dorm room, better food, and more importantly, a battledome where she would not have to worry about teachers shoving her into detention for decking another student.
It was like christmas had come early.
Calming down, she adjusted the bag she had slung over her shoulder, and walked through the gates and across the campus ground. Her first priority was to find out where everything is, then to settle into her dorm room. Then she'd figure it out form there.

Mitsu had just been heading back from the library to her dorm, her nose buried in a book. She had just started a new fantasy book series and was already deeply enthralled with the story line. No doubt her newest volume wouldn't last the night, since grabbing it she was already four chapters in.
Only looking up from time to time to make sure she wasn't going to run into anyone, Mitsu barely managed to glimpse a familiar face. She had seen this particular ghoul on occasion at events and the school festival but never around campus. Curious as to what brought her by Mitsu stepped closer raising a hand in greeting.
"Hey, Poke!"

Ear fins flicking at the sound of someone calling her name, Poke looked around to see Mitsu approaching her. For a moment her grin vanished, having recalled the last time she had seen her, which was during the phoenix fight. She hadn't been able to find her afterwards, and had returned home.
But she looked alright now, at least. Holding some sort of book as well. Waving her own hand in return, she walked over towards the lycan.
"Hey Mitsu!" She called out, grin returning full force. "Hows it going? I hope you're doing well, since the last time we met was pretty chaotic."

Mitsu thought back on the last time they had seen each other and recalled the fight, the whispers, the hunters, and more. It all came flooding back in one big bad memory and the lycan's ears drooped in result.
"It...was a bit of a mess but I've gotten by," She admitted. "Things were a little weird at first when we all got back and I can't say everything is back to normal but its doable. How are you?" Closing her book after marking the page Mitsu opened up the flap of her messenger bag and stuffed the novel inside. "What brings you to Amity? I usually only see you during events that the school hosts."

Poke frowned at the answer she received, noting the drooped appearance of Mitsu. It seemed they had been just getting by, but then, what else did she expect? It wasn't like she had been frolicking with the derpicons in joy.
"It was pretty tough, but I'm doing a lot better now" She responded. As to why she was here, she chuckled, then held up the skull pin for Mitsu to see
"It appears I got a lucky break, and with a little help from my old schools counselor, I was able to enroll as a student here."

Mitsu stared at the skull pin for a long moment before her smile grew and she seemed to perk back up. "You're a student here now? That's so great!"
Bouncing a little excitedly she started to look around. "You'll be in the monster dorms right? Maybe you're not too far from me." It was sad Mitsu didn't know a lot of people from her own dorm. Jericho and Levi were among the few. She knew more demons and reapers than anything.
"Do you want me to show you around?"

"Isn't it?!" Watching the lycan bounce around in excitement was contagious, and pretty soon Poke was hopping from one foot to another.
"I'm pretty sure I'm in the monster dorms..hmm, lets see.." She pulled out a small pamphlet in her bag which listed the type of dorms there were on the school grounds, as well as other important information about Amity. "...I, think I am, I don't think I'd fit into the other categories." Placing the pamphlet back in her bag, she looked back to Mitsu. "Hopefully, though I have no idea were my dorm is at the moment, I only just got the key."
At the mention of being shown around the school, the dragon ghoul beamed brightly at the lycan. "Really? That would be awesome! If I ended up walking around myself, it would take me three times as long to figure out where everything is"

Mitsu beamed. "Come on then, let's drop your stuff at the dorm and I'll show you around. I was just heading there myself to drop off my books." She would text Shun to let him know she would be a little late coming over.
Motioning for Poke to follow her Mitsu headed toward the monster dorms. "Its a bit of a maze in our dorms so be careful." Mitsu warned as she drew closer. "Do you know what room number you have?"

"My room number..." Poke paused as she pulled out the key she had been given, while following Mitsu towards the dorms. "... is 546" Placing the key in her pocket, she glanced at the other buildings as they passed them, trying to remember which ones they were. "So the dorms is like a maze, huh?" A image of large corridors with many dead ends and traps appeared in her head. It sounded like a interesting idea, although it would probably mean she would get lost a few times before she found it. Thank jack she had Mitsu here.
"So, what kind of books were you reading?"' She decided to ask the lycan.

"Five hundred forty six? That's not too far from my room." Mitsu smiled. "Its not too hard to get to, the trick is remembering landmarks like the pictures and furniture. They don't get moved often so they are good leads to follow." As Mitsu had learned from experience due to bad navigational skills. "You have to be a little careful though, the monster dorms caters to everyone so you might find yourself in a pool of water or a pit of lava."
When asked about her book Mitsu peered down at her bag before pulling back the flap and removing the book she had just put away. "Its called Fablehaven. Its rather interesting. Its about a preserve in the human world." She detailed a little about what she had read thus far but other than being obviously fantasy it seemed like a thrilling read full of adventure. By the time Mitsu was done recounting the tale they were at the front door to the monster dorms.

"I'll have to keep the landmarks in mind then" Poke smiled back, then looked a little dubious at the mention of lava. In a dorm room. She had heard of some strange things in her life, but this one was probably one of the strangest.
" Theres a...pit of lava...in the dorm rooms" She replied slowly. The pit of water sounded fine, but the lava? "How..do they keep it from setting everything on fire?" Much less keep half the student body from falling in. "At least...it would make a pretty good landmark." It would be kind of hard to forget that sort of thing
Then dragon ghoul then watched as Mitsu took out her book, listening intently to her description of the book and what it was about. She enjoyed reading books herself; they were a good distraction, especially if you were bored, and she was always curious about human society and halloween history (the parts that contained dragons and knights, that is)
"That sounds like a good read. Action and adventures are my kind of thing" She replied at the end, before looking at the entranceway to the dorms. Her gaze lingered on the door itself, before looking around at the surrounding buildings. It appeared as if there was a little bit of everything from everywhere here. One minute she'd be looking at something she'd swear was from a haunted house, then the next she'd see a stone pillar placed in a random location.

"Magic I'm certain," Mitsu replied about keeping things from catching fire and turning to ash. It was the only true explanation otherwise the whole building would have be ablaze by now. She had also read enough from Shun's books on spell casting to get the gist of things. It was too bad she couldn't work spells herself.
"I rather like it," Mitsu admitted, stuffing the book back in her bag. "They have the whole series in the library here. I'll show you that in a bit."
The lycan kept her eyes peeled for the room number but it seemed they were a ways off yet. As promised the corridor seemed to twist and turn like a snake on a random path to no where. Mitsu paused from time to time to point out things she liked to use as land marks mostly because they had yet to go missing or be destroyed. A little further down and she pointed out her room and then continued on as they drew closer to the number on Poke's key. "We should be getting close I think."

Ah, right. Magic. She should known. Poke didn't know much about magic herself, considering she had no way to cast it. Besides, using her fists and claws usually got the job done in most cases.
"The library? That would be great, I'll have to remember to get a card to borrow things later" Poke commented as they walked into the building. Sure enough, the whole place was a maze, resembling the mishmash of objects displayed on the outside. There were paintings, chairs, tables, all looking like they belonged to a different era or location. However, she noticed they all had a distinct toughness about them. She realized that this was for the students who, like herself, were prone to breaking things.
There were also many windows, some incredibly large for such a building. Just looking at them made her want to spread her wings and take off into the skies. The thought of gliding over the school sent shivers down her spine, and she would have to try it out sometime soon.
She quickly brought herself back down and focused on what Mitsu was telling her, concentrating on remembering where the landmarks were and any other things she could use as a navigational guide. Soon enough, she found herself outside Mitsu's dorm. There wasn't much to see so far, considering it was only a door, but it was nice to know were it was encase she wanted to go visit.
"Cool, I haven't seen what my dorm room is like yet, but I've heard a description about it" She said to Mitsu. "I was amazed though when they told me. It almost resembles my own home."

" My dorm is kind of....cave like." Mitsu commented. " Like a den." She was curious though when Poke mentioned that her room was similar to where she had lived. " Oh? How so?" The numbers were counting down, Mitsu would probably see for herself soon enough. poke mattix sorry for the short post, I wrote it minutes before I had to leave for work XD;

"Cave like?" Poke inquired, feeling a smirk tug at her face. "Well then, you'll feel right at- HEY, CAREFUL WITH THAT!!" As they had rounded a corner, the dragon ghoul had spotted a few gnomes standing just outside her room, four of them trying to pick up what could only be described as a pirate treasure chest. She quickly stormed up to them, as it looked like they were overbalancing and about to drop it, and took it out of their hands. "This has some important stuff in it" Making sure her dorm room was open, she walked in balancing the chest in front of her. Inside, the room was dark; there appeared to be no light switch to flip on, but there was just enough light to see that the room almost looked like a cave itself. The wall were rocky, and if one listened closely they could hear the drip, drip of water falling of a stalagmite. In one corner there was a deep hole carved into the ground, filled to the brim with water. And scattered about the area were some of the dragon's belongings; More chests were dumped on the edge, while a small bookshelf sat itself straight in the middle. There was even a punching bag laying on the ground, but there didn't seem to be a bed.
