The Keyblade Wielders are chosen by Masters of The Blade to be trained to combat the darkness. They are guardians of Peace, and prevent darkness from corrupting the universe. Each Wielder starts out as an initiate, they train with wooden models of a basic Keyblade. Then, the wielders must learn, things like Light and Dark, Kingdom Hearts and the dangers of it's power. Finally, when the wielder has completed their training, they are promoted to a true Wielder, and are granted the power to create a Keyblade of their own in their own image. Wielders possess the ability to unlock a person's heart when that person is either defeated, or about to die. They can also seal away Darkness of a world by accessing the world's keyhole.
