Within the United States, the city with the most criminal activity would have to be the monsterous Soulham City, which is also said to be the most productive and produces a lot of today's technology. There was nothing more that the large police force could do to prevent the numerous crimes that happened daily and there was little hope of this city being more than what it was; a tragic city that would continue to worsen until no one within their right mind would care to live there.
At least, it was this way until a young man stepped out of the shadows. he had the strange ability to manipulate the world around him by being able to create nearly anything that his mind thought up. Crime rates dramatically decreased, but little was known about this man and the people were beginning to become cautious of this man, whom had the power to easily take over the city without so much as a finger lifted. This man, though he was just your average high school student, would never step out of the shadows unless there was a need and never intended to do anything of the sort. Why would he use his powers out of context when there was little gain from taking over the city?
Unfortunately, another sought not to simply control it, but to destroy it. Please, enter archenemy: Destroya. She had turned up out of the blue with extraordinary powers. What are her powers? To destroy. That was all that she was and is capable of and threatens the existence of everyone within the city. Little it be known that she was just your average high school student, too. As a matter of fact, she was in a majority of the hero's classes, but she was so good at blending in that he may never see past her expressionless facade.
Now is the time to step up and either stand at the sidelines and watch or step up and fight for what you truly believe in.

① Follow all of the Gaia ToS, guild rules, and all of the rules that will be stated below. I have the right to kick you out of my RP if I see you breaking them.
② Cursing is allowed in small doses. We are NOT sailors, so we don't need to swear every other word. It gets annoying when all you read are *s and @#$%s.
③ Romance is seriously encouraged! Every RP is in need of a good kiss every now and again to get your blood stirred. Alas, we may not cyber.
④ If it ever gets too the point where it gets too hot for your character and they need to take their clothes off with someone, then I would prefer it if you PM me and ask for a time skip, because no one likes to read moaning and groaning. PG - 16!
--> BTW :: This is a straight RPG, which means that there won't be any yaoi or yuri. It's not like I'm against it, but not here, please! <--
⑤ Since there will (hopefully) be some action in this RP, I ask that you don't god mode. Nope. Think again, buster.
⑥ I require good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. If you cannot spell or write competently, then I will only give your submitted profile / post a frown and a glance. I will not reply and then you'll never know whether you were accepted, unless you keep watching the RP for updates.
--> Do NOT PM me every five or ten minutes asking whether you were accepted or not. You'll know, trust me for a moment or two. <--
⑦ Pretty posts are always superspecialawesome and I adore them with a passion! A picture of your character, name, and a color is required, but feel free to jazz up your posts with icons, lyrics, and the whole works!
⑧ If you want to reserve one of the roles, then title a PM: "Charging Up". Send in an RPing example.
⑨ If you want to take one of the roles, then title a PM: "Destroy the Destroyer". Send in an RPing example.
>> Note :: If you do not send in a PM with the right title, then I will delete it without even opening it and checking it. <<
⑩ HAVE FUN! < This is the most important rule!

Ⱥϲϲєρҭєɖ Ȼʜαʀαϲҭєгʂ The Name is: Adrianna Noel Neverhart The Age is: Sixteen The Role is: Destroya
The Story is: As all good stories begin, there is often conflict in order to intrigue the reader... well, this isn't an attempt to intrigue you, but to make you realize that even the most 'evil' of people are mostly misunderstood. Adrianna was the first born child to a very loving and excited young couple that wanted to get a family started before they were too old or demotivated to properly care for a child. They had been blessed with a beautiful little girl in which they named after the darkness that they had 'been in before her birth'. Little did they expect that she would be considered the darkness that everyone would come to fear in the future of Soulham City. She had been raised like any other single child; pampered and raised to believe that she had great expectations. Alas, she didn't act spoiled or even enjoyed being given gifts more often than other childred her age were given. She hated the feeling of being different from the other children, but her parents didn't know why she acted so emotionless when most children her age were hyperactive and full of life and energy. Instead, she was rather emotionless towards the world and was disinterested with the world around her. Then her powers came into being one random day. She had often been picked on by the 'class bully', but had never felt truly angry until he had shifted his targets upon a young boy that she had found to be worthy of her affections. The bully had been throwing rocks and sticks at the other boy and suddenly, her anger built up so much that the stick simply burst into flames, badly burning the confused and frightened boy. Adrianna knew that it was her fault and began to test her newfound abilities on other things, such as the dolls that her parents wished that she would become interested in playing with, destroying them in various fashions that suited her fancy at the moment. She vowed at a young age that she would not use these powers for evil, but for good, and if it meant hurting someone in the process... then she would do it without thinking twice. Now that she's in high school and has been deemed the city's main fear, she refuses to give up the path that she has currently chosen. Her reasoning will be later revealed.
Anything Else?: Adrianna spends a majority of her time studying for her classes, her next destructions, and playing the violin. She is a rather lonely girl, though she doesn't admit it, and has no friends at school in hopes of not being found out about or hurting someone by complete accident, since she does not have full control over her powers.
Username: Seraphim_Lie The Name is: Kyle Darien Mercer The Age is: Seventeen The Role is: The Creator
The Story is: The tale of the Creator is, as most stories, typical. Born to an abusive father and a suicidal intent mother, Kyle was brought into the world the hard way. Life wasn't easy in the beginning and, when he was halfway through the age of 8, his father up and left them. His mother, distressed and filled with such uncontrollable sadness, prepared to take her own life a day later. At the moment she was about to commit to the act, she gave her son one last look. Instead of saying her final goodbyes, however... she saw something else. A young child that, without her there for him, would surely perish in the cold and harsh reality of life. To this day, Kyle never knew if it had been her own will and resolve, or if his power had unleashed for the first time and asked her to stay... Living with his mother for the remainder of his past years, Kyle had seen it all. Crime, violence, death... Soulham City was a shadow of what it should, and could, be. He vowed to himself that, one day, he would rid this town of all of this hatred, this unnecessary way of life. Surprisingly to him, that day was far sooner than he had expected. About the time he was 14, Kyle found himself in a situation where he, along with three other civilians, were taken hostage. While the police attempted their best to handle the situation, things were spiraling down, hard and fast. When it all seemed lost, and a thug had aimed his gun at a hostage... it happened. Not only did a bullet-proof wall appear out of nowhere around the thugs, but a vehicle ready to take them up and away... This... had been what Kyle had wished for. This was not some miraculous coincidence. Days after, Kyle began to experiment in various ways to see if, just maybe, he had somehow made that wall and vehicle appear. After a series of trials, he found that this was true. All he had to do was think about something, and it would happen. For the next three years, Kyle took this power he had and, with as much discretion as he could muster, turned the city upside down. Crimes rates decreased, violence deteriorated, and peace began to reveal itself once more. During this time, various people all around the city began to exclaim that some being of supernatural power was behind all of this. Because of this, this 'being' was given the title, 'The Creator'. Every time he contemplated over this, Kyle laughed as he thought about how much this felt like that one anime, "Death Note". Despite this, though, Kyle didn't wish to 'take over the city'. He was only a teenager, though he knew he needed to know more, to understand how to run a city, before he could even consider the action. He was, at this moment, simply a high school student, and that was all he needed to be.
Anything Else?: Kyle has done everything he can to make sure his mother continued to live a normal life. He has found that his powers have the capability of, while not completely changing the mind of a person, 'creating' an idea in the head of someone. This has helped his mother throughout her days, and he has tried to shift her personality away from suicidal...

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ It was one o'clock in the morning and though many were asleep, the city of Soulham was still very much awake. People busied themselves to and fro, never stopping to notice the girl wearing a long, black trench coat walking down the street, her amber eyes staring straight ahead of her. As she reached the shadier part of town, she pulled her hood up and over her face as she continued onward, though there were people watching her now, knowing that she didn't belong in this part of town. Then again, Adrianna Neverhart belonged nowhere nor to anyone. She was her own being, her own person. She was the only thing she could depend upon in this life.
She passed by several drunkards and they turned their attention to her, and it was not good intention. They began to follow her before she turned down an alley and then they rushed at her, two grabbing her arms and the other grinned, planning on getting the first turn with her. She had kept her head lowered, but finally she looked up and into his eyes. "Let me go or you won't live to regret it." She said in a quiet tone of voice. They simply laughed and the one standing in front of her reached out and pushed the hood away from her face, but the moment that his hand touched her skin, he spontaneously combusted and his friends instantly let go of her, screaming something about there being a witch. The other two didn't get very far before one turned to stone and began to crumble instantly whilst the other began to melt from his bone, which also melted like an ice cube in the sun.
"Told you so." She said with a small smile before she pulled her hood up and continued on her way to the warehouse district of Soulham. She leaned against one of the light posts and all of the light bulbs of all of the lamp posts on the street burst, plunging the street into darkness. She sighed, "I'm so uncreative... I need to think of some new form of going about this..." She then snapped her fingers and the warehouse across from where she stood began to shudder and fall in on itself. People flooded out of this so-called 'abandoned' warehouse. "I really should just kill them, too... but I'll allow them their lives this time."╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator ...BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The sound of an alarm woke the figure, sleeping under the covers of his own bed. With a grunt, the male rose up slowly, the covers descending his form as he did so. With a hand dropping down to press a button that would silence his alarm clock, the male tiredly got out of his bed. The time was 7:30 AM, and he needed to prepare for school. In about fifteen minutes, the boy was clean and dressed as he descended the stairs. Though he had time before school started, he always insisted upon himself to be there early. That said, with a single hand grabbing the two bags his mother had ready for him and a farewell call through the house, he exited his home and made his way onto school.
It was around 8:05 AM by the time he arrived outside his school. While it wasn't the best of places, it suited him just fine. After all, he learned, and that was the importance of a school. As he prepared to enter, his eyes and ears turned toward the man nearby, his regular job of selling newspapers to passerby and student alike continuing on. However, it was his words that caught his attention and, needing to read this for himself, he moved over and bought a copy. A few minutes later, and the boy could be found in his first classroom long before the class would even start. With one of the bags opened to reveal food and the newspaper strewn on his desk, the boy read about the night's event as he took a bite out of his mother's cooking.
"A crime scene set up around an alley where a burnt body was found, along with an unusual broken stone figure and something else... Several street lights bursting simultaneously... And an abandoned warehouse falling apart though it was in a decent state..." With a sigh, the boy sat upright as he thought this over. These were no mere accidents or coincidences. Someone, one way or another, had caused this all to happen. But the newspaper showed no evidence to whom could have performed such devastation... "I wonder..."

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna had gotten back home around two in the morning and had slept until six in the morning. Her alarm clock made the most annoying sound known to mankind and, in her usual morning grumpiness, nearly destroyed it. She managed to push the urge away as she sat up and rubbed her eyes after slapping the off button. How on earth would I explain to my parents how come my alarm clock suddenly blew up into a thousand tiny pieces without them freaking out about how there was a terrorist trying to kill me... She pushed her fiery colored locks away from her face before she pushed the warm blankets away from her. She hated the feel of how it was warm one moment and freezing the next. She was nearly tempted to crawl back under her covers and tell her mother, whom would worry why her daughter had not been up and running by six-thirty, that she was sick.
She sighed as she walked to the bathroom in order to ready herself for another day in the hell that she believed would make the actual thing look like heaven. She knows that I would be lying... since I never get sick... She finished getting ready by six-thirty, as usual, and stepped out and into the living room just as the news channel got to talking about the strange deaths of three unidentified men and the destruction of another warehouse. She didn't smile or feel pleased with her good work. She felt nothing towards that night's episode and knew that she wouldn't feel happy until her goal was accomplished. She went into the kitchen and began to prepare her own lunch and her mother gave her a hug and kissed her on the cheek, just as she had every morning since Adrianna had been able to 'take care of herself'.
"Did you have a good night's sleep?" Her mother asked with a bright smile that made Adrianna's cold attitude melt into a small smile and a nod. She loved her mother and promised that if anyone dared to harm a hair on her head, then she would destroy them in the most painful way possible. She would drag their sorry soul to hell with her. Then she simply took her violin and threw her backpack over her shoulder as she headed to school.
She was there an hour early, but then again, she always practiced her violin in the music room when even the teacher wasn't around. Little did anyone know that she had broken the lock on the door. She practiced until it was eight and then rolled her stiffened shoulders and placed her most precious possession in her locker before heading to her classroom. She wasn't eh only one there, she noted that there was another there, a boy with oddly colored hair and strangely blue eyes that startled her. She walked over to her desk in the back of the classroom, closest to the window, and stared out of the clear glass, wondering whether the company's that she was targeting were getting the picture.
She heard the boy speak about wondering something and said aloud, against her own wishes, "Wondering often leads the greatest of knowledge."╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator As soon as the other voice spoke up, the male somewhat jumped in his seat. Having been so far in his train of thought, he had been unaware of the female's entrance. Calming down almost as fast as he was startled, though, he turned his gaze toward the female, noting her looks and stature. That was... Adrianna... Yes. The only reason he knew of her name was from the last year's yearbook, stating the names of the musicians of the school. She had been one of them... That said, though... it was so unusual for her to speak to anyone, especially him. It was... strange, at best.
Looking back to the newspaper, he then spoke on again. "I just... can't wrap my mind around this. I've seen websites describing the person whose helped bring this city back to its feet as 'The Creator'. Have you heard of that?... But this... this isn't that person's work. With a name like that, this being couldn't possibly be able to destroy things on a whim... could it?" He knew personally that he was lying through his teeth. Not about the destruction part, but the fact that he was playing off like he didn't know who the Creator was. Still, he didn't exactly show off this talent to anyone and he sure as hell didn't plan on it.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna nearly cringed when he replied to her. She hadn't meant to speak to him, but she had been curious as to what he was wondering about. Of course, it was only natural for him to wonder about who destroyed the warehouse and killed the three men. She was surprised when he continued to speak about the 'Creator'. "The Creator... were the person to do all of last night's terrible crimes to speak with him, I'm sure it would be one hell of a conversation, don't you agree?" She then closed her mouth quickly. Why am I keeping up a conversation with him? Why on earth am I even conversing in the first place? You're a freak. Freaks don't converse with anyone else! Then she inwardly sighed, knowing that there was no way to redeem herself by this point and continued, "I believe that they are two different people, for being able to create and, from what I've heard on the news and have read online, destroy... that would be overpowered.... Just to have such freakish abilities would be overpowered, though."
She leaned back in her seat and then finally looked at him, her amber eyes always holding a strange glow to them when the light hit them just right. It was like burning embers. "I'm sure that Destroya wouldn't be able to simply create things, either." She crossed her arms over her chest as she gazed at him, no emotion apparent on her face. It always seemed that she was bored with life and everything within it. "But... I've heard rumors that Destroya is waiting for the night that they meet the Creator." She then shrugged it off, "Then again, the city's heroes and villains always need to meet, right? Like in all of the horrible good vs. bad movies."╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator The male always had an idea of what Adrianna's personality was like, but it still surprised him to hear her speak like that. Her words showed a level of knowledge that typically came from those who studied their butts off, yet she didn't seem like that type of person. From her words alone, however, two things truly concerned him. Turning in his seat to face her as fully as he could, he then asked.
"How are you so sure that this 'Creator' is a man? For all he know, it could be either a he, a she, or an it. ...I guess 'he' is the generic term for most things that we do not understand, huh?... You do make a point, though. There has to be more than just one person or thing in play here..."
Before he could ask her his second concern, the doors to the classroom burst open as the students began to take their seats. Darn, he had run out of time. He had hoped to speak with her more about this, but now... she would probably shut herself away again. Well... he supposed having a small window of conversation was better than none. Still... Destroya. He had only heard rumors about this other 'being'. Destroya was most likely behind these events and more from the past, now that he thought about it. But... was it really an enemy to him? If he heard from police reports correctly, it seemed that, those Destroya's methods were... unorthodox, it still managed to bring 'good' in an aspect. Sighing to himself, he knew he would have to think about it later. For now, class was about to start.

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna simply shrugged at his comment about being sure that the 'Creator' was a man. "Doesn't it simply sound more masculine? I mean, Destroya sounds more feminine, if you really think about it, but then again, no one has seen either of these two at work, so... I guess we'll just have to wait until more information is released." Just then the bell rang and the other students of their first period class poured it. She rested her hands on the desk and turned back to facing forward, her eyes focused on the teacher that stepped into the room. She didn't favor calculus, but she would do whatever it took to get through it with flying colors in order to keep her parents off of her case.
She took out her homework and clicked her pen a couple of times before sitting back and glancing out the window. She was surprised that she had kept up a conversation that long, for she had never been the 'social butterfly' that her parents wanted her to be. She would simply crawl back into her mysterious and 'gothic' shell as several of the more popular girls sat around her, ignoring her as if she didn't exist until one glanced over and noticed her homework sitting on her desk. The girl reached over and plucked the sheet of paper and began to copy the answers down, just then the pencil that she was writing with broke. Adrianna then reached over and retrieved her paper, "Too slow." She said with a small smirk that went unnoticed.╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝

Kyle Darien Mercer The Creator Similar to Adrianna, the male took out his own homework, a mechanical pencil, and his notepad. For a moment, he took the time to glance back to the female, noticing how most of the popular females of his class tended to sit around her, though never looking or speaking to her. He also noticed that, when one of the girls tried to copy Adrianna's homework, her pencil had snapped apart. ...Karma? Maybe, she was probably just writing too hard.
Turning back to face the teacher as he asked for the homework, the male turned his in before opening his notepad to the closest blank sheet. Once the lecture had started, he began to take notes of the important points, keeping it neat and easy to read. As he did this, though, the slightest bit of his mind remained on the conversation with Adrianna...

Ⱥɗɍɪɑɳɳɑ «ɗєʂҭʀσʏα» Ƞҽʋҽɍɧɑɍʈ Adrianna handed her homework to the girl sitting in front of her before also taking out her notebook and preparing herself for taking neat and brief notes. She had studied the night before for this lesson, so she already knew how to do it, but sometimes the teacher gave them tips that the book or study guide did not, and she found that the quicker you could finish your homework, the more you could destroy. The class finished in an hour's time and when the bell rang, the other students got up and literally dashed from the classroom as quickly as they could.
She simply stood up and packed her stuff, taking her good sweet time in doing so before casually making her way to her next class, which was French. I wonder if he's got enough food for thought now...? The villain asked herself in her mind. She wanted a little trouble to start stirring up, she wanted rumors to be spread. She wanted more excitement than simply being heard of on the news and in the papers. It would be more amusing to have someone hunting me down. I'll have to give him the hint that I target warehouses.╔════════════════════════════════No good deed goes unpunished no act of charity goes unresented no good deed goes unpunished that's my new creed my road of good intentions lead where such roads always lead no good deed goes unpunished.════════════════════════════════╝
