APPEARANCE
(( User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. something like this maybe, definitely keep the hair about the same and eye shape but not the color, also tanner skin I don't know why I originally had the pale one aha))

Riltmos' body has been shaped by years of living on the Skhalsar: nimble fingers for baiting and making hooks, a lean, toned form for swimming, and a sharp eye for spotting fish (or anything of value in the water). He is an average height for his age, around 5'9" with a mesomorphic body type, although he is quick to lose weight when there is not much food to go around.

His face isn't usually worth a second glance; a typical oval shaped face, although a little shorter than average. Riltmos sports bright yellow eyes under a pair of moderately sized eyebrows. His brows are the same color as his hair, a natural dark navy which is cropped shortly and manages to spike wherever it pleases, despite Riltmos' constant attempts to fix it. His skin is lightly tan, despite the extreme lack of sun exposure, this is something his entire family inherited long ago.

Riltmos is host to a variety of scars, many on his calloused hands from working with hooks and his spear. He is not the definition of graceful, but he is not especially clumsy. Although most of his scars are small, he does have a large one running from his right shoulder that tapers to his lower left back. This was given to him by a Bhar that was after a Riverhund he was hunting.

The Bhar put up quite a fight, and had to be taken down by Riltmos and two of his brothers. This is the moment he and his brothers were considered to become men. They each wear one of the claws on a string around around their necks, Riltmos included.
His body is always covered in a wetsuit of brown, dappled Svel skin, something he took seasons to gather himself (the majority of the Svel skin his family gathered had to be sold, his mother was strict to limit the amount he could keep himself) and fashion into a wearable garment (with the help of his four sisters of course).

His navy tunic is much less rich than his fur-lined brown gloves (more Svel) or blue boots (made of the only Skhal he was ever allowed to keep) ; it is made of a heavy mystery material (for the price he bought it, he didn't want to question it) and however worn it looks, never has had a hole in it and always manages to keep him decently warm. Over time, he has added some sea-green cloth belts to his garb to hang pouches and other things on.

Riltmos does not have many other accessories, but for his spear. Each man in his family has one, it is the first right of passage most riverdwellers undergo: making a spear. It is wasteful to make many breakable spears, so most fishermen spend their early careers perfecting one. Riltmos' is far from perfect however it suits him well. The shaft is one of the few stronger pieces of wood he could find in one of his only trips to the edge of the forest, but the sharp head is not made of the Cleinstone he wishes it to be, rather it is a common rock shaped to a point.

PERSONALITY

Riltmos is a confident young man, with a surprising amount of patience. He has a great attention for detail to go with that patience, making him excellent at noticing things, as well as attentive in general. His confidence however, can be his downfall. Sometimes he is too confident in what he says or does, and this can get him in trouble.

He loves a good adventure, and swimming if he can tolerate the temperature. Riltmos is also a lover of stories, which are frequently told in his large family. He is a natural born leader, with experience from caring for his siblings at an early age, and being the eldest male in the house (under his dad of course). Communication is his one key weakness in his leadership position. Since he's usually too confident in what he thinks, he doesn't always understand the need to communicate effectively his plan of action, unless specifically asked.

Stress doesn't usually get to Riltmos, unless it's from his mother who is the most stressful person in his life. She is the ruler of the lives of Riltmos and his siblings, and their views often clash, but Riltmos is required to respect and obey her wishes regardless. Obviously this can be very frustrating. To relax, Riltmos likes to scavenge or rivercomb. He takes long walks across the river looking for interesting items. Once and awhile he finds something valuable and takes it to market. Riltmos is most calm on rainy days where he has nothing to do and can watch the rain from his small room. He doesn't always like to be cooped up in his attic room, but it's very relaxing on rainy days.

ABILITIES

Riltmos' strength lays in his ability to lead and take command of a small crowd. Growing up as the eldest of six other siblings, he had to know how to stay on top or else his younger siblings would overtake him. When his mother was busy financing or doing other business things and his father out hunting, he was charged with the rest of the household. Mostly that meant orchestrating chores and keeping the estate in order, but it was a taxing job.

He is a good judge of character, and easily knew where each sibling would thrive best and worst doing chores and tasks in the spring when the family was at their busiest.

Riltmos' faults however, are in his over confidence and wild nature. While he can take charge very well, after a while it will either go to his head or he will get an idea that he won't communicate to his group very well and will go through with that idea.

Physically, Riltmos is average for a boy of sixteen; swift, nimble, and strong. His one notable physical weakness is his back was damaged, leaving him with aches and pains to deal with once he was an hour or so into his work, walking, and most movements in general. They are usually dull, but hit him on his back and he's not happy.

While Riltmos admires valiant knights in shining armor, he only has a glimmer of potential to become one. He is good with his spear and his small dagger defense wise, but he isn't very good at hand-to-hand combat and has never held a sword.

HOBBIES

Adventuring/Exploring: Exactly as it sounds, Riltmos is quite the little adventurer, loving to get small bands of his peers together to go dragon slaying or the like. Riltmos had dreams of being a knight once, but he knows his place is on the river.

Wood carving: Being quite dextrous with his small knife, Riltmos loves to carve small wooden tomes. He leaves them at the edge of the forest sometimes, or along the river, hoping that the gods will appreciate it (Riltmos' Mother embedded religion in the entire family, they believe in the ancient, natural, and nameless gods of places like the river, sky, and forest.) His enjoyment of woodworking lead him to working for a carpenter during the winter/fishing off-season.
