Lore The shadow Isles. They say they don't exist... Mythical islands haunted by ghosts and spectres. Tales to frighten children. But I know better, I have been there. When I first set foot there I immediately knew something was wrong with that place. My skin crawled, and in the pit of my stomach, I felt a terrible revoltion. Life didn't belong there, but I also knew somehow, deep inside I knew.. the islands welcomed me. . As I wandered deeper I saw death all around me. Ghostly trees, grass and flowers engulfed me in their horrifying radiance. It was so quiet and beautiful. I passed my hand through a spectral leaf fluttering in the wind...but there was no wind. That's when I understood that death was another world. And I was at it's door. Then I heard the song, Death's song. My companion cried out in terror and fell to his knee's. I embraced him, I told him he had nothing to fear. He was going to a better place...
I will take them ALL to a better placcce...

You awake in a hot sweat with a severe case of nausea, but find yourself unable to move further than a few inches. You could have sworn you opened your eyes, but come to find this unending darkness is permanent. Your head is being held up by what feels like a small wooden piece. It's uncomfortable and hot, but you don't care. All you care about is the excruciating pain that torments your neck. You'd investigate it more, but there is a more pressing issue.
You're locked in a wooden casket, buried six feet under. The air is limited and the clock is ticking.

RULES GUIDELINES
For those of you who don't want to read the post below- I will explain some of the things that were covered and a little more.
❶ -This section requires you to make use of the random number generator. I will ask each one of the remaining participants to generate a number each time they post. (1-100) Will be the base I'd like you to use.
❷ -If you happen to roll one of the many pre-selected numbers, an occurrence will happen based on what number you rolled. (Don't worry. The moderators will be informed of what numbers are flagged so you won't think I'm being unfair. emotion_awesome )
DETAILS THAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW.
[Your character and the poison.] The poison is designed to slowly kill your character over the span of a week. Since everybody's body is different, you may implement some of these side effects at any time- It doesn't have to be in order.
-Nausea. -Exhaustion. -Your insides will begin to slowly deteriorate over the week, starting with your lungs. Expect your character to be spitting up a s**t-ton of blood. -Mild hallucinations. -Your muscles will feel like jelly. emotion_c8 -Seizures. -Dehydration. -Insomnia. -Severe headaches. -Muscle aches.
Good luck. c: -------
THINGS I DON'T WANT TO SEE.
❶ Changing your odds number after you've posted is a big no-no. If I catch it- I will disqualify your characters dead corpse. emotion_donotwant
❷ One does not simply walk out of Mordor. If you try to leave the forest in character, you'll be disqualified. 'Nuff said.
❸ Death does not like to be cheated, nor do I. There is no way to take off that death trap around your neck. I don't care how much of a genius your character is. If you "magically" take it off without rolling the corresponding number- see the end result of the first rule. heart
❹ No. I will not tell you what numbers are flagged for greatness or devastation. If you ask...I will be cross with you. >.>
❺ Please be reasonable. Your character is slowly dying, and as much as you'd like your character to be a total badass and pretend not to be bothered. I at least want to see them experiencing the poisons side effects.
- No. You can't kill NPC's to get ahead. If I see that you will be removed from the exams. [LIST STILL BEING UPDATED.]

THE COLLAR AND YOU! (For those who were too ******** lazy to read the post from Senri) The collar itself is made of a really rubbery material that bunches up and conforms to the wearer's neck--a little like a scrunchy. It sort of pulls the hairs out of your neck. It's very tough and stretchy and would be impossible to cut off without slicing up your own neck. That pain is minimal, however, compared to the eight needles pinning the collar to your throat. While they jut out of the collar, not unlike nails or pushpins, it's apparent upon closer inspection that these needles are hollow and poised to inject something into your neck at the slightest provocation. Snapping them off would only make the needles more difficult to remove. At worst, it would cause the collar to inject air bubbles into your blood vessels, killing you with a stroke instantaneously. That said, the extra length on the needles seems to serve as a sensory device for the rest of the collar. At the front, the color is clear to allow others to view the concoction circulating throughout. It's green normally and is completely harmless. When "activated", it turns bright red and shows up through the collar. In this state, it's extremely poisonous in even small doses and can be absorbed through the skin (causing corrosive chemical burns in the process). Consuming even half of the toxin contained in the collar will most certainly kill a man--much less having it injected directly into the throat. The toxin is also activated by exposure to the atmosphere, so if the collar is broken or torn, the poison inside will immediately light up and become dangerous. This, of course, assumes the other needles aren't triggered to inject you beforehand.

Just as your eyes began to adjust to the darkness, a bright light scarred your eyes, projecting an image of Senri- the background was sort of distorted and fuzzy for obvious reasons, but for some reason...no matter how hard you tried to look away, the image seemed to follow your gaze. (Think of Angel's subliminal messages from Borderlands 1&2)
"Good evening, Sssubordinatessss. If you're getting this message, then you've survived the first part of the exams.....for now. I'd refrain from trashing the casket. when you die, you'll be buried in it.
You'll notice a collar nestled tightly around your scrawny necks... I've made sssssomething truly wonderful thissss time.... it'sssss desssigned to kill you in the mosssst violent manner possible.... all it takes is one ssssssingle touch. Oh I ssseemed to have not mentioned that yet... I am getting ahead of mysssself. Let us ssssimply ssssay thissss... If you try to remove the collar, you will mossssst certainly die. The toxin is also activated by exposure to the atmosphere, so if the collar is broken or torn, the poison inside will immediately light up and become dangerous. This, of course, assumes the other needles aren't triggered to inject you beforehand. What you have on is both a poison, and an antidote. You cannot access the antidote, nor can you try and make one...or replicate it. In a sense your body is a ticking time bomb. The poison coursing through your veins will inevitably kill you over time.... There is only one antidote, and it is conveniently placed in the collar, but you cannot access it. However.....you can take it from others, but at the price of destroying them. That is assuming you have the capability of separating the poison from the antidote, which you don't.
However, the collar is not even the crux of the matter. For the Fourth and last segment of the exams, you are expected to survive on the island for three weeks- which is actually half your life expectancy in regards to the poison. The poison should kill you in two weeks give or take. You will not find food or water here, it will be dropped off at a set time by a carrier.
Be warned....this test is not for the faint hearted... It is meant to test you, mentally...and physically... You cannot help your friends here....only two people are destined to pass this test, they are your enemy. So abandon that hope....or you will never pass the last segment. ....and to those who are so foolish as to believe in things like love and friendship. Tell me how do you expect to protect them when you can't even practice endurance, perseverance....
...If you find my methods unjust, then you truly are weak... ...and have no business protecting the village and it's people, or anybody for that matter....
Welcome to the final segment of the exams. Good luck....
(PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE POST BEFORE THIS ONE TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE DEALING WITH! heart )

"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
With a faint groan Sessouresu opened his eyes; Well.... he thought that he did; it was hard to tell seeing as how there was no light; what so ever so what he was didn't change from when his eyes were open and when they were closed. "Ughh,....." Yet another groan, this time it was due to the fact it had dawned on him that he had a pounding headache... and his neck hurt.... a lot. "I ******** bet this is Senri's doing" Sessou Spat as he light touched what ever it was on his neck that was causing the discomfort, and yeah it just hurt more as he did that.
As he sat there looking around the darkness Sessouresu activated his Sharingan, yet again no change what so ever, it was making him wonder what exactly this round was, he was currently guessing the first step was to get out of..... whatever it was that he was currently i-.......
Sessou's train of thought was suddenly detailed at a bright light shot into his face and Senri appeared in front of him, though not in person; most likly through some sort of Sensory Jutsu.... she was telling them exactly what was going on.... poisoned..... burried underground..... and left there; then as suddenly as she appeared she suddenly vanished once more; leaving Sessou and everyone else (If they were in this round of the exam and in the same situation) in total darkness once more "...............That.......... b***h"

Character Theme: Rin Toshite Saku Hana no Gotoku When Serene was in darkness once again after seeing the vision from Senri, if someone could see her face they would be surprised not to see her normal neutral look or one of fear. Her teeth were clenched, and there was fury in her fiery red eyes. "...Senri..." She said the name soft, with a venom in her voice. She told Senri before, she didn't like being toyed with, her life being treated like she was some expendable pawn. She was the only one who had the right to choose if her life should be sacrificed for something, not Senri, and not for the sake of some stupid test for rank advancement. She was going to survive this, and she was going to make Senri pay for believing she could play god with people's lives...
Serene could already feel it...the pain in her chest, a nauseous feeling in her gut, the pain throbbing in her head. She knew she didn't come from as tough stock as the rest of the clan, she was extremely tough for an Aramori, but in the end she was still just an Aramori (regardless of the fact she kept it hidden) She probably wouldn't survive the poison for as long as others would...it meant she needed to act fast to save herself... But first she needed out of this box.
Locked in a casket and buried underground...it would be tough to get out. Clawing her way out of the box wasn't advisable, it would waste much to much energy and cause the poison to flow through her blood even faster. Her sword would be a much better option, however with the small amount of space in the casket, drawing it would be impossible, let alone manipulating it. It was for situations like this that it was always smart to carry a knife, it was the ultimate tool in most situations if you could think of a way to use it.She reached for the hilt at her hip and raised her hand to the end of it, where the hidden knife was attached, connected to it with razor wire. After she drew it, she wiped the oil accumulated on it off on her gi (which she was happy to have back, it would suck to accidentally set the casket on fire while she was in it) and then stabbed the knife into the casket above her at face level. She twisted it, letting it dig through the wood and eventually reach the earth beyond it. She tried to ignore the wood shavings and then the dirt falling on her face as did it. Then when she dug her knife far enough in the dirt that it stuck there, she then released her hands from it. She made a few quick hand seals, the same seals that she always made. She used her firebal jutsu, this time making a long stream of flames instead of a massive fireball. She had leaned forward so her hands were touching the pommel of the dagger, the force of the flames causing it to shoot through the loose dirt up through the ground until it hit the air. Anybody looking would see a stream of fire erupt from the ground like a miniature geyser then see her dagger fall on the ground to the side of the whole that was created.
Serene's flames caused the earth around the hole to harden, creating a fist-sized passageway to the surface. It didn't seem to help her much, since there was no way she was fitting through it...or was there? In a time like this, her Aramori heritage was a blessing. It was a dark night, but she could stil make out a tiny bit of light making it to her. And where light could travel, she could travel. Using her kekei genkai, Serene was able to turn her body to light and move through the hole she created, she handed hard on her back but she didn't care, she was free of that box.
As Serene made her way up to her knees, she suddenly went into a coughing fit. She covered her mouth with her hands as she coughed, and her eyes opened wide as she saw blood. It was as she thought, this poison was hitting her hard and fast. She wiped the blood from her mouth and rose to her feet, noticing she was already feeling dizzy. She didn't know where she needed to go now, so she just started walking.

~Feed the fire, break your vision~ Takeo slowly opened his eyes and quickly wondered if he even did so. The lighting didn't change at all. He felt his eye muscles open and close so he figured he was somewhere completely void of light. He noticed the air was stale and he could clearly smell his own body odor quite well. He attempted to move and on impulse he attempted to get up. His neck flared with pain and he quickly ceased his head's movements. His hands quickly found walls and a ceiling and his legs found the same. Was he in a box?
Light suddenly blinded his vision and a voice began to speak. A female voice he recognized. Senri's. So she was running this part of the exam? He should have seen this coming. He quickly looked around, trying to figure out his surroundings though he couldn't see much past the slowly focusing picture of Senri. He wasn't happy about his coffin or the fact that there was a collar around his neck(though he didn't realize its presence since his neck was in pain). The worst part of this message was the poison. He didn't know what the plan was or the goal. Survive? Obviously this was a joke of some sort. Her message finished, the light disappeared and once again, Takeo found himself in darkness. His mind quickly demanded he get out of the box first before anything else. First he attempted to puch on the wall above him and found he couldn't. He mentally face palmed. He was in a coffin, of course it would be buried. "Damn it Senri", he muttered. Plan B then. He shifted as much as he could in the box so he could bring his hands together. Forming handseals as best he could he prayed the coffin would allow chakra through and pressed his hands against the wall, forcing chakra out into the what he supposed was earth around him since he couldn't open the lid. His plan was for the earth below him to push his coffin up, much like how he had first tried to raise his earth wall when he was training before the exams. His coffin shifted and groaned against the earth as it moved and Takeo felt quite uncomfy as his neck was fixed in place. He prayed this didn't disturb the collar and its contents. He stopped moving and tried the lid again. This time the lid came off and he squinted as light flooded his vision again.
After climbing out and stretching his neck, he tentatively touched the collar around his neck. Finding it with his fingers he shivered. It was like an unwanted piece of clothing. You know, one that would eventually kill you if you let it sit. Takeo felt a lurch in his stomach and prompted threw up next to his coffin. Coughing through the vomit, he noticed a lot of red as well as the food he had consumed earlier. "Great, I am poisoned. I really hope this doesn't continue." Another lurch brought more and Takeo fell to his knees. Not having the feeling to talk, he simply raised a finger to the sky, as if Senri could see it. Yeah, this poison thing was gonna suck it.

Yasuhiro Uchiha
Yasuhiro awoke with a groan looking quietly around him. Two things immediately became clear. One it was dark. Two his neck hurt. Well at least that means I'm alive. he thought bitterly. He tried to recall the last thin that happened to him. He could remember... poison? thats right he was dying from a poison. He would have to remember to sock the b***h with the vial if he ever saw her again.
Suddenly Senri's face appeared and he was ripped from his thoughts. Well not senri's face but an image of it. He listened closely as she explained the next part of the exam. I wonder if she is going around and doing this one at a time for everyone or if she is doing it all at once to the remaining... "Wait did she say i'm in a casket?" he stopped his own musing immediately and though no one would be able to see it he turned paler then a cotton sheet and he had to fight with all his might not to scream in panic.
Taking a deep breath he tried to calm himself down, there was no point in freaking out because he would still be stuck in the box. He had to slow his heart beat down to normal or he wouldn't be lon for this world. So i have three weeks huh? two before this poison or whatever is supposed to kill me. Poison is circulated more quickly through the blood stream if I move about more. So maybe if I can just stay still after I reach the surface and remain hidden i can outlast the others. Then again that's assuming no one finds me. I'm going to have to play this smart. he thought with a dry grin.
Closing his eyes he tried to think of those in the exam. Without a doubt the one eyed genius survived. Koto seemed strong as well, the mimic would be on the prowl as always. His fire loving brother, who in hind sight must have been a twin or something of the sort, would probably still be alive as well. Then there was Serene, he hadn't seen anything of her abilities,(though he'd seen plenty of everything else) It was possible she would survive but it was tough to tell. Who else would be there was hard to say but those were the people who were the most dangerous.
Taking a deep breath he let it out slowly noticing how stagnant the air was becoming. "I'm going to have to be cautious around those guys, they are ruthless. they would probably kill me without a moments hesitation." he thought out loud.
Placing his hands against the frame of the box he tried to move it but it didn't budge. "Great buried alive too. This exam is just great." he thought with an irritated sigh. I'd refrain from trashing the casket. when you die, you'll be buried in it. he recalled senri's words for a moment. "we're already burried in it..." he said sarcastically. Now the issue was how to get out...
"I have an idea..." Feeling around for his sword he found it lying next to him and with a quick jab at the caskets top it caved in under the earth above it. the eartth is still fresh if i still have air I should be able to make my way out. he thought as he began moving the dirt that cam in aside. He had to move his scarf to his mouth and tie it tight to block any dirt that he might accidently inhale otherwise. The sticking his hands through the hole he scrunched down into the bottom of the casket and worked the hole a little larger before sticking his head through and pulling himself through the dirt above. He had managed to make a tiny gap between the casket and the loose earth so now he merely had to keep digging up wards. However he was on a time limit as so as he broke the coffin lid. He would have to hurry. Clawing with one hand he made his way to the surface and as his head broke free he took a deep breath, pulling the scarf down to do so. One arm followed after, followed by the other gripping his mothers sword. Then with one final heave he lay on his back taking in huge lung fulls of air. "step one done... now what." he mused aloud.

(Just a quick notice! Everybody is buried about 10 miles apart so chances of finding eachother are slim, but as the days progress you'll probably be close enough to stalk eachother. ;O
But one thing you'll probably notice is that there is no sun. The plant life just has this creepy a** glow. Kind of like Avatar, where the plants came to life at night. Only when you move to touch the plants, your hand goes right through them. They're spectral- like spirits in the form of plant life. The trees seem to be solid though.)

Sharingan, One Tomoe: InactiveAlone in the dark the Stranger awoke, at home. For a moment there was confusion which quickly turned into such an ugly black and startling hatred that could make the darkness in front of his eyes seem pale and even light when compared. It was something primal beyond the sense of panic or irritation, rage knew not these borders, however these lands were the bounds of hatred he so often adopted as his home land. All within that accursed boy's mind, now here he was caged again. Then the strangest idea entered and left his mind like a hollow whisper."Am I.. caged again?"He searched out of himself and realized he could not, it was a feat he was only capable of when he was inside the depths of the shattered consciousness of Haruki. No, this was different or rather, it was as before. He looked inwardly and there was Karasu, however there was something... amiss? He was weak, weaker than ever before.
Suddenly the Stranger became aware of his physical body, and the pain that bound him to reality, leaving his inner reflection scattered to the void of black. Other than the obvious, the first thing that tripped the Stranger's sense was a sense of stagnancy, the air was not flowing here. It was humid and hot, the air stank of perspiration and his head was suspended in mid air by something rigid, or wooden? It did not feel like a stone nor could he adequately tell given the depth of his tactile knowledge of any given substance with the back of his head.
The next concern that crossed his mind was paralysis, he began working his toes. All in functioning order, beginning from lowest to ensure he check everything, he continued bunching muscles up his legs, back, stomach, chest and arms. He flexed his neck while simultaneously clearing his throat. It is amazing how someone can ignore a foreign object in their body for so long until they actually move the body part in question with the said object.
Pain. That was all that he could fathom for a moment was just, pain. The last time he had sampled such pain was the day Haruki had been blinded by his older brother Takeo, albeit temporarily. It took him a couple agonizingly and excruciatingly painful sharp inhales to get himself under control and ready himself to the pain. He still did not know his condition, for now he welcomed everything to help him understand his plight.
He awakened his Sharingan with and effort and reached out with his sense that his sensor abilities granted him. What he saw stopped even the Stranger for a moment, he could not tell where he was; all he knew it was tragically beautiful. Veins of chakra and lights bled through this place, anyone could see.. but something was familiar. It took a moment for the Stranger to realize he knew this chakra. That was when an image burned into his retinas.
The light in the stark void was harsh and unforgiving; that was when he saw her and his blood froze. There she was before him, glorious, sultry and best of all dangerous. "Hello darling." While the "image" much like a deliverance from heaven might appear to the unworthy, distorted and hazy; he saw her with stark clarity. Not because of his Sharingan but simply because he was so focused on her.
While listening to her message of warning and caution, perhaps doom to some; all the Stranger could focus on the brightness of her, it hurt to look at her. She... was glowing? It dawned on him that it was her.. chakra?! Never before had she ever displayed so much before ever. He did not even need his Sharingan his sensory abilities were enough alone to tell. In that moment, for the briefest of instances, she actually reached into his core and gently laid fear in his heart. Unfortunately that was possibly the worst case for Senri, for the Stranger would probably obsess over her for the duration of his life. The sheer amount of power was incredible, not even the Clan Head commanded this amount of power. No, this was more like the chakra beasts of legend! Yet her skin was paler.. weaker, almost as if she was a flower wilting under the sun's gaze.
A longing and covetous jealous grew in the Stranger as he tried to reach out to the message in front of him vainly; only to be stopped by the casket in question. He was indeed buried in a casket, reaching and knocking about he confirmed that the casket was also completely surround by earth. The lack of a hollow thump, in reference to the loud thud gave him the clue and he could only conclude that she would have him buried underground. After all she did say she would get him back for the forest.
After a moment her image slowly faded out of existence once again leaving him alone in the dark. He smiled at the thought, he was actually happy. The vial was poisonous, so it had now become fun; he might even die here, who knew. The Stranger was a very single-minded creature at the most awkward of moments, truly.
Now was the time to get out of this damn thing. He was out, by the gods he would not be caged again! Hebi spoke of a device on his neck that would fragile as glass and deadly as her beautiful, petulant glare. His clone would kill him just in summoning him. He fire techniques were neither focused enough nor capable of freeing him without severe risk of catastrophic injury. As much as he usually didn't care, he needed to live for three weeks. So that meant he would have to get creative.
In that moment he was glad how much care Karasu had taken into the strength of his core as well as his overall flexibility. For gathering the supplies he needed that was invaluable here. Through minor shimmies, crammed smacks of his stomach, hands or legs; he slowly continued to move him arms around while reaching for the pouch located at his back. A smile stretched across his face as he retrieved his desired objects; three kunai, a roll of medical adhesive tape, and finally a few of his paper bombs. In fact it was all but seven of his remaining count.
He set to work, gathering the kunai between his fingers in a fist then applying enough tape to wrap around his wrist. Halfway through this process he realized that this part of the plan wasn't going to work. He put down to of the kunai, and kept the last one place in his hand in a upside down grip. His hands were clasped as if in prayer and the kunai's blade was towards the unseen lid of the coffin. Locking his thumbs on the bottom to keep his hands from slipping to a minimum he slammed the blade home just above his chest a few inches below his new necklace.
However instead of ripping the blade out, he began torquing the blade in a sort of gyrating circular pattern; so that the maximum turn was making a large conical shape in the dirt as he dug. The dirt began to trickle in, and the Stranger concentrated as he began to channel his chakra up his hands, through the blade and into the ground much like a chakra pad. While maintaining a link from him to his "lid" of chakra, he continued to work the kunai around until he had an empty space in the dirt. The only thing that kept the dirt from collapsing in on his cone was that pad of his chakra. Carefully keeping one hand close to the hole, he gingerly removed his kunai as if he as taking the high-heeled boot off of a loved one.
Taking one paper bomb at a time from the pile on his stomach he began to slowly slide the paper through the whole and placing them as shapely and smoothly as possible. It took him several minutes, occasionally he would lick his fingers to get the paper to stay. Eventually he had lined the whole with paper bombs and filled the middle. He was starting to strain as the slow exertion of chakra was more than annoyingly taxing. Taking on last paper bomb, he stuffed it all but a sliver away so he could still touch it; then he began to scoop up some of the loose dirt and pack it back into the hole.
His neck ached and his head began to throb uncontrollably, yet he fought for focus. The Stranger needed it now more than ever, when he was ready as he would ever he removed his hand from the coffin. Placing his fingers of his right hand on what remained of the tag sticking through the earth and the coffin lid, he sent a surge of chakra to light it. Crossing his fingers interlaced at rest across his chest he waited, not because he knew the plan was a success far from it. Instead he figured he may as well be peaceful when blown to bits.
There was a small hissing before a cacophonous explosion shook his reality and dirt rained in on him, though not as much as there should have been. To an outsider's perspective it would have looked like a bomb went off from under ground as the shaped charge that he had built sent nearly the entirety of the energy and force of the explosion up and out by the direction. With a shout the Stranger shoved both of his palms at the wood in a strike as the lid crack a sundered, snapping in half with a loud crack.
The first thing he felt was the cool air, the first thing he perceived was the light, even this darkness was brilliant in comparison. His sweat instantly began to cool on his face and neck, only some minor annoyance at the dirt intermixed with his sweat. He retrieved his tape and kunai and began to crawl out of the crater he created. As impressive as it looked, it was taxing and time consuming; given enough time anyone could get out of anything. The Stranger was fortunate enough to have escaped this time... who knew was the future would bring. For now, he was nauseous and he desperately wanted to lick Hebi.
It was the first thing he could think of that she would hate. He tried to pick her chakra out but that was sort of the problem, it was everywhere! She was in the phantasms of vegetation, in the ground in a network of veins like the life of this very island. He looked up at the sky and his knees buckled and he closed his eyes, then forgot because he was a sensor he could still see the colors. He lurched forward and his hands and knees heaving, though nothing came out. He decided until he got his "island-legs" he might want to leave his Sharingan off for now. He stood up, and felt a migraine forming; he sneered and for a moment thought that only women were supposed to be prone to them. He tried to recall where the most concentrated chakra was hers and began to slowly walk. "I've had worse mornings I suppose..."

Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

There was darkness. Suffocating and all encompassing, it seemed to devour him. That darkness and solitude. Where was he? He felt an odd pain around his neck, but decided to ignore it for now as he attempted to reach out in front of him but found his movement restricted...a lid...he was in some kind of box...wooden...a coffin...had to be.
"Cute..." he muttered to himself before trying to push the lid open. it was proving difficult and he couldn't figure out why... until it dawned on him. He was buried alive. Before another thought could cross his mind and projected image of senri flashed before his eyes explaining the rules to this "game".
"Must she be so capricious?" he said to himself.
Once he was able he focused on his hands and decided that getting out of this box quickly was of paramount importance... and while he would've loved to save this trump card for later he needed to not waste time digging his way out slowly.
He focus on the tenketsu in his hands and made one double fisted punch powered with his"Dragon's soul reborn" technique...he immediately regretted that for two reasons... 1 as the wooden lid was pulverized dirt began to poor in and 2 the use of his chakra seemed to cause one big wave of fatigue to hit him...
For a moment he couldn't move and it looked like he'd be smother in dirt but his arms managed to regain there power and he was able to claw his way out of the ground. As he got out of the coffin he was surprisingly pleased with the surroundings...It seemed to him a case of tragic juxtaposition: An eerie and dark scene of beauty and lifeless despair. Seemed like the kind of place Senri would pick...
He decided to save his strength for now and slowly made his way forward hoping he wasn't going have to hard of a time here...

"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
As Sessou remained laying there he couldn't help but let out a drawn out sigh. This wasn't really a hard situation for him to get out of; it was just annoying, everything about it was annoying; the ache in his neck; the spinning feeling and sore muscles most likely a result of the poison, and that ohh yeah; he was kind of buried alive. "Well I might as well get on my way" He grumbled to himself slightly. As he took a deep breath and formed a few hand signs; is body quickly becoming covered in chakra, his protective cloak taking shape around his body. While he didn't want to use too much chakra right off of the bat, its better to use more and have a surefire escape than try someone and fail; only to make things worse.
Once the Cloak was completed Sessou quickly made a few hand signs and started to compress chakra into his hand, molding it until it took shape. While there technically wasn't enough room for the entire length of the Spear inside the Coffin, that was quickly fixed as the molten Spear started to incinerate the wood and dirt to his left and right. The Spear could melt both Stone and Metal; so some wood and Dirt was child's play for it. Once it was fully formed Sessou Pressed it to the Roof of his coffin, The cloak protecting him from the Heat of the spear. It was lucky for him that the response to the heat was almost instant, seeing as how the Flames would quickly take up the air that was inside the coffin with him.
It was only a matter of Moments before Sessou could Hold the spear strait up above him, his first goal had essentially been to 'stab' directly in front of him, first making a hole for his arm, and then shoving the spear into that. The Tip of the Spear Breaking the surface and making a hole for air to flow through.
After that was completed, all he had to do was to 'dig' his way out by burning the ground in front/above of him. This Feat took him about ten minutes in total. However at the end It looked more like a Meteor had landed and scorched the earth leaving a crater more than something had dug its way out. Scorched earth and what looked like glass remaining on the edges as the cloaked Sessou stood up and walked his way out of the once had been coffin. The Spear and the cloak vanishing as he stepped out and looked around. "This place looks about as cheery as a mortuary....." He said before sitting down on the edge of the hole. "No wonder Senri likes it"
