Accepted! When I look in the mirror, I see.. Hello, and my name is Lily Fairbanks, obviously! I'm in the eleventh grade. In case you haven't noticed, I'm female. I've been around here for seventeen awesome years. I really can't stand hypocrites, being pushed around, or spicy food. I also hate large crowds and dark colors.. I love being the leader, playing drums, and cats! Actually, I love adorable things in general. You want me to tell you something about myself? Well.. I guess I'm a bit commanding at times. I absolutely hate being inferior or playing second fiddle to somebody else. I'm a bit hyperactive, but hopefully not to where it becomes annoying. Don't worry, though, I'm not all strange, I can actually be calm when I want to and I'd never dream of hurting my friends! I've lived in the southern countryside for all my life, so I'm a little stereotypically outspoken, too. Eh? My background, too? Well, I suppose I can say that.. My life has been pretty average so far. Seriously, the only interesting thing I've really done is gone to art camp and broken a leg. That's why I want to do this, you know! Go on tours, have some excitement! My parents are split up, but it never really phased me much.. I play drums! I suppose I'd also like to tell you.. I'm bisexual, but my friends don't know about that yet, so stay quiet, ok? Also, I'm undisputedly the dictator of this club. They don't know that, either. Hello, and my name is Ebony Skell. I'm in the eleventh grade. In case you haven't noticed, I'm female. I've been around here for seventeen "awesome" years. I really can't stand small-talk, large crowds, and dealing with people, to only name three... I love the darkness, my violin, and animals. I might have two more, or so, though. You want me to tell you something about myself? Well.. I excell in all things academic and musical. Well, it's not as if I can just pick up any instrument and be amazing, but rather, it's all concentrated in my violin. I'd rather go with the flow than try and make waves...unless you make me angry enough. And that's quite rare. I have a long fuse. I don't like many people much, and that's probably why most people are put off by my irritated scowls. Am I supposed to care? Eh? My background, too? Well, I suppose I can say that.. I've always lived in the suffocating smog of the city. My deadbeat dad threw himself off a building, but I'm much better off with my mother. She's strong, emotionally and physically. Where do you think I learned how to fight? I've never used it before, though. Only once. Or twice. That's why I'm here, though: to learn and, well, control my temper.. . I play the violin! I suppose I'd also like to tell you.. maybe if you get my trust, you'll find out more. Hello, and my name is Ava I'm in the Twelfth grade. In case you haven't noticed, I'm Female. I've been around here for Eighteen awesome years. I really can't stand Posers, Haters, Liars, Cheaters, Dark places, and Being away from my brother. I love Flowers, Sunrises, Singing, Photography, and My Brother, though. You want me to tell you something about myself? Well.. Outgoing, Loud, Fun-Loving, and Energetic Eh? My background, too? Well, I suppose I can say that.. I'm part of a set of twins. My brother is Alex. We had a basic childhood, but when we were 10, our father went into a drunken rampage and beat our mother up pretty badly. He even broke my arm and Alex's nose. But, we still live with them, only we stay out of the way now. We keep our sanity with our music.. I play my Vocals! I'm a singer. I suppose I'd also like to tell you.. I always have my camera with me, and I like to take random pictures. Hello, and my name is Alex I'm in the Twelfth grade. In case you haven't noticed, I'm Male. I've been around here for Eighteen awesome years. I really can't stand Bullies, Jerks, my Father, Thunderstorms, and anyone who picks on my sister. I love My mother, my sister, Music, Quiet places, and Drawing, though. You want me to tell you something about myself? Well.. Quiet but not in a "Shy" way, more in a "Don't mess with me" way, Intense, and Mysterious Eh? My background, too? Well, I suppose I can say that.. I'm part of a set of twins. Ava is my sister. Well, look at her bio to get the details about our life. I hate my father for what he did to my mother and Ava and myself. I keep myself sane by focusing on my music and drawing.. I play Lead Guitar. I suppose I'd also like to tell you.. I always have my sketchpad with me. I'm always drawing random things, or portraits of people. Hello, and my name is Yumi Reynolds I'm in the 12th grade. In case you haven't noticed, I'm female. I've been around here for 18 awesome years. I really can't stand not being the star of the show, indecisiveness, wasting time, and sweet foods. I love being the star of the show, music, and fashion, though. You want me to tell you something about myself? Well.. I can be selfish, vain, hard headed, and a bit too serious. However, I am loyal and helpful to others, especially anyone in need. I also have a fairly level head on my shoulders and can be really down to earth. However, I have been told I am too polite for a normal teenager. Eh? My background, too? Well, I suppose I can say that.. I was told I was destined for greatness. My mother played viola professionally, being a famous child prodigy, and my father was a big name psychologist studying prodigies once they became adults. It was assumed I would be good at music and academics, which I am. However, unlike my mother I specialized in voice, studying opera and classical music. I live alone while Mom is on tour and Dad is abroad at his different conferences abroad, but I am a responsible kid so they trust me. I also have a big brother who is pre-med at Harvard.. I play the piano, a bit on the viola and guitar, but my voice is my true instrument. I suppose I'd also like to tell you.. I am a bit of an "idol" at school because of my grades, looks, and sort of famous parents, especially with the guys. Too bad I'm not interested in dating.

Rules of the RP.
1. Romance is highly encouraged, but don't go overboard. Nothing too dirty, if you can help yourselves. Take it to PMs. 2. No Mary-Sues here. Your character can't possibly be good at everything. 3. Stay active, please. I don't want this roleplay to die. If you do decide to leave for any reason, make a detailed couple of posts about how your character is moving or graduating early. Just give us something! 4. Stay semi-literate at the very least. I know we all have our bad days, but if one-liners are all I see, I'm going to say something.

 The last bell of the day rang and Yumi sighed closing her notebook that she was doodling in (her doodle, like usual, looking like something a four year old would draw) as her Latin 4 teacher tried to squeeze in a few last minute questions. Most of the students had their bags packed five minutes ago and they disappeared the second the bell rang dismissing them. After all, it was Friday, what could you expect? Yumi Reynolds would have been quick to follow and soon surrounded by a group of friends, chatting about weekend plans and some Fridays even turning down a date request with her usual lie about just having started seeing someone out of town. Today she lingered, drawn by the curiosity about the rumor about someone wanting to start a band in room 203. It was probably a joke band (where they were really bad and looked at it as a way to become "cool"), but if they were halfway serious it might be interesting. Standing she placed her things in her designer leather satchel and headed towards the door now that the class was mostly empty. Room 203 was only a short walk down the hall so she took her time, pausing to readjust the bag on her slim shoulder and overhearing one of her classmates discussing the linguistics of irregular noun declensions with the teacher. Rolling her eyes, bored by the intellectual chat, she headed out the door with a casual, "Have a good weekend, Mr. Parker." ((OOC: Hope that starts things out on the right foot. Writing blocks can be irritating.))

Even my heart...
...is a broken metronome. E b o n y ~ S k e l l Ebony was so sick of dealing with this snotty freshman. He sucked at the violin and didn't even care so why was she working with him during orchestra class? What she really wanted to do was take a seat and play the violin with other players who actually cared. It didn't matter that she was better by all of them by miles, she just wanted people who would actually try. "You suck. You're a horrible teacher and I don't understand a thing you're saying." The stupid blonde (That just happened to be his hair color, Ebony didn't even like the dumb "Blonde vs. Brunette" debate.) said bluntly, dropping his poor violin on the ground and flinging his bow to the other side of the room. My eye twitched. What a waste - his violin was absolutely gorgeous, better than her worn-out but well-loved instrument. "I'm sorry, I'll find another tutor for you who can bring themselves down to your level of stupidity." She stood up and left class late, thanks to that blithering savage. She was about to go home when she remembered hearing about Room 203. She didn't want to meet the new people, but she wanted to play. Her musical side won out and she slowly peered in the door to Room 203.

Her musical side won out and she slowly peered in the door to Room 203. Mr. Reynolds, the Latin teacher, nodded before returning to the discussion and Yumi left the room heading three doors down to room 203. A Gothic dressed girl with almost black hair and pale skin stood there peering into Room 203. The girl's dark style contrasted slightly with Yumi's more loud and bright fashion choices, such as her purple skirt and white shirt, though her short black nails might have fit with the other girl's fashion. Yumi raised a brow, the girl looked familiar, then she noticed the violin case the girl carried and suddenly, Yumi realized where she recognized the girl: she was in the orchestra (which Yumi quit Freshman year in high school but still attended the concerts with her mother on occasion). The girl her mother had pointed out Yumi's sophomore year. "You're pretty good on that," Yumi said nodding towards the instrument. "Mother said so: she doesn't complement people unless you earn it, especially when it comes to stringed instruments." Yumi shrugged and walked past the girl into the room not bothering to waste any more time.

~|Ava and Alex|~ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ Ava and Alex stared at the clock in their last class. Luckily, they shared the same class at the end of the day: Calculus. Alex wasn't as good at math as Ava was, but with her help, he had made it into the more difficult class. 'It looks good for college' was her argument for doing so, but even Alex knew that Ava had helped him into the class so she wouldn't be alone in a room full of people she didn't know. When the bell finally rang, they picked up their backpacks and slung them over their shoulders, and rose from their seats, headed for the door. They went their seperate ways towards their individual lockers, agreeing to meet up outside Room 203. Alex got his guitar case out of his locker. Ava retreived her notebook of songs. They both met at the door to Room 203, looking a bit nervous. "You ready?" Ava asks. "As ready as I'll ever be. How about you?" Alex replies. "Ready to go." she responds. They nod to each other, and enter the room. They see to girls have already arrived. One of them, a slender brunette, Ava regonizes as Yumi Reynolds, the school's music idol. The other one, a gothic girl with brown-almost-black hair, she regonizes as Ebony Skell, a junior in the orchestra. They find two chairs, and sit in them. Alex takes his guitar out of the case and begins checking the tuning on it. "Hi. I'm Ava Axon, and this is my brother, Alex." Ava says, gesturing to herself, and then to Alex. Alex looks up at them, gives a nod, and goes back to tuning. They both sit patiently, waiting for everyone to arrive. ☆═━┈┈━═☆ If you come to fame not understanding who you are, it will define who you are.

...is a broken metronome. E b o n y ~ S k e l l Ebony was so busy peeking into the empty room like some idiotic girl in a horror movie that she hadn't even noticed Yumi coming towards her. "You're pretty good on that. Mother said so: she doesn't compliment people unless you earn it, especially when it comes to stringed instruments." With that, the school's "idol" pranced in the music room. She, of course, didn't know who Yumi really was, but she did not like the title that she held. After all, she wasn't the only one with talent. And she didn't have the most, either, in Ebony's opinion. Rather, she chose to believe that talent was spread out in different areas and when you got to her or Yumi's level, you were extraordinary no matter what category was your specialty. She was pleasantly surprised, though, when Yumi had paid her that compliment. She was elated when she had heard that it came from her mother. Her mother was a famous violist, a child prodigy. She allowed herself one smile. She had just taken her seat when another pair of people came in - one boy and one girl. "Hi. I'm Ava Axon, and this is my brother, Alex." They both had dark hair and dark eyes and were each a year her senior, if Ebony was not mistaken. Alex wasted no time, pulling his guitar straight out of his case and beginning his tuning. She nodded her acknowledgement and held her elbows, staring at the ticking clock. She wondered if this was all the people that were going to be here."You'd think the person in charge of all this would actually be here first." She muttered quietly to herself. She didn't know or care if anyone else heard, but what she did care about was time. She had homework to do and music to practice. But she waited, hand clenched on the handle of her violin case. {By the way, I did read how Madotsuki requested that we start it because she had writer's block. That was just Ebony saying that.}

"Yes, Mr. Simon, I know" Lily said with a sigh, her high-heeled boots tapping the ground in impatience. "No, I won't be late again. Look, I have somewhere to be, can I get up now?" Ignoring her teacher's irritated glance, she jumped out of her chair, almost knocking it over in her hurry. Lily rushed up the stairs, almost tripping over her own feet, and stopped in front of the door to Room 203. "Forty-five seconds" she muttered to herself, looking at her watch. "That's a new record." Noticing that other students had already arrived, she held back from entering, and took the time to examine them. Raising an eyebrow, Lily saw that Yumi, one of the most popular girls in school, was there. Lily herself never being very well liked among her peers, she was slightly shocked. Other than her, she also noted a pair of raven-haired twins and a girl clothed in all black. "Ebony" she noted. She had been in band class with the girl in middle school, and knew that she was quite talented, but the two had never spoken; Ebony's quiet personality and Lily's own loudness made them polar opposites. Deciding she had stalled enough, Lily took a deep breath and prepared for her grand entrance. Well.. grand being a subjective term, in this case. The door slammed open, banging against the wall, and not a second later, the blonde girl tumbled in, nearly crashing directly into her own drum set. "Ehe.. ow" she said to herself, her face flushing as she looked up to see every other student staring at her. Standing up and dusting off her leather flight jacket, Lily puffed out her chest in a show of superiority and grinned widely. "Hey, everyone! The name is Lily Fairbanks, and welcome to the Clearview High music club!"

~|Ava and Alex|~ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ Ava looked up to see who had entered the room. She saw Lilly Fairbanks, a junior who she knew played the drums. After her inncident with the drumset, Ava held in a laugh. Alex peered up at the girl, sighed, then went back to tuning his guitar. Looks like I'm the only guy in here... he thought. Once his guitar was fully tuned and ready to play, Alex sat back in his chair and relaxed. Ava played with her fingers a little, trying to resist the urge to snap a picture at that very moment. Her camera was strung around her neck, as always, and was full of the most random photos ever seen. ☆═━┈┈━═☆ If you come to fame not understanding who you are, it will define who you are.
