DEFENDERS
Their purpose: Defenders is one of Amityville's notorious clubs. Often dubbed "The Brawlers" those who belong to Defenders are often seen as aggressive idealists who will fight tooth and nail for what they believe in, preferring to express themselves through action than words. Despite this aggression, the club takes a firm stance on being honorable and just. In their eyes, it's up to them to be able to defend those who cannot defend themselves. If they don't, then who will? Besides, there may be more to the club than meets the eye... The question is, are you welcomed within the inner circle?
Defenders Campaign Speech: Hey. You. Sick of getting pushed around by someone and watching them get away with it? Yeah, me too. There comes a time when you've got to push back, and you know what? Now is that time. That's what Defenders is all about: we become stronger to right wrongs and defend those who can't defend themselves. Stop following the herd, and come run with the pack.
Defenders Mottos:
- Anytime, anywhere, any place.
- Stand up for what is right, even if you must use your fists and fight for it.
- Only For Just Cause.
Defenders Rulebook:
- Only For Just Cause. Don't start a fight because "you felt like it!"
- Stand up for what's right. If you don't, no one else will.
- Seek to become stronger.
- If you see a fellow Defender being attacked, jump in. Nothing sucks more when you have your back against the wall only to see your reinforcement turn tail and flee. Always jump in.
- Remember to stop and think once in awhile. While we are bros before hos, don't jump in and make an a** out of u and me.
- If someone yields, the fight is over.
- Dissipation may only occur if all participating parties agree to it, and the agreement has been witnessed by a non-participant.
DETH
Their purpose: DETH is a peace-loving group of close-knit individuals who are unafraid to take small, calculated choices in order to bring peace and harmony between Halloween, Humans, and even Minipets. DETH is particularily interested in humans, and hope to study humans upon post-graduation. They believe that harvesting Fear through peaceful means, such as light scaring or gentle spooking, is the way to go, and that human and halloween co-existence will one day be possible.
DETH Campaign Speech: Change of course, comes from within! There are many groups today who do not understand that harming humans is like harming each other. Humans are just like us! Violent actions need to be suppressed to promote healthy human-Halloween interaction! DETH Motto: Save a human, save a life.
DETH Rulebook:
- No harming humans absolutely whatsoever. That means harmful scaring too!
- Scaring must be done in peaceful non-violent ways. Learning to harvest Fear through peaceful scaring is key. Working with Humans is also key.
- All creatures are equal, but if we do not take action to prevent inequality from spreading, then noone ever will!
- Band together to fight this oppression of violence! Protest and show them what is right by using our own resources! You too can make a difference!
SCREAM
Their purpose: SCREAM isn't concerned about equal rights of humans, because the real problem lays with the inequalities within Halloween itself. It's quiet caste system of races and subspecies. It's members feel that society is trying to make them less rather than more. It's NOT an official club, as many of their activities are punishable beyond mere detentions. It's members aren't without a sense of justice, but it's their view of justice, and they'll do whatever it takes to even the scales. So far their actions have been small in scale. Enabling school-wide walk outs. Occasional graffiti. Classes that exclude other races may find equipment ruined or missing, sessions interrupted or blocked off in some manner. Similarly, species specific clubs are also targeted. Areas that force students to shift into humanoid forms are also often damaged in some manner. While most of SCREAM's actions involve stealth and sabotage, several of the more out-spoken demon supremacy advocates have respawned in the infirmary, unable to say who or what attacked them.
SCREAM Campaign Speech: Halloween is rotting from the inside out, and has been for centuries. Our society is full of ancient laws, ignorant traditions, and an upper echelon of decrepit puppet masters who'll make sure things stay just as they are, with them on the top and all us little people on the bottom.
Do you like being diminished by pins and wards? Do you like your form forced into something else, simply so that you fit in with their idea of what should be? How about servitude, do you like being a servant? How many of you were created just to one day be a servant of someone supposedly better than you? How many of you are at this school just to increase your base value? How many of you have been excluded because of your race? Your appearance? Do others look down on you, just because you don't fit their mold? Because you're different?
Those at the top will stay there, and these things will stay the same forever, unless we start taking what they refuse to give us. Unless we start making points they can't ignore. Unless we make that top a little too dangerous for those in power to stay there much longer. We need to make the change. We're starting small, because right now we are small. But we won't always be. We're starting out quiet. But we won't always be.
