The sky faded to a soft amber color as the day began to near to an end; the first stars gave off their first twinkles and flickers of light. One might fine the scene peaceful or relaxing, but to Shikoba, it was just another end to another boring day. It was something he witnesses everyday and would witness again. And tomorrow would be just another day that he would have to go through in the same routine way. He sighed melodramatically and tossed his head up, gazing longingly at the sky. Was it too much to ask for some action? Some...excitement? He lowered his head and continued his trek at a slow canter. If he could only find something different - that anomaly that could set him in a different route. Something that'd help him see life in a different light or give him something to not be so...bored about. He left himself drift into thought while his legs brought him to the small pond he was content to sleep near.

The rather large mare wandered with no real destination in mind since the day was coming to an end and the night was the perfect time for her to go hunting. She could use a good meal and could use something that would make her sleep soundly during the night. So she continued until she saw a small clearing in the distance and the sight of another only made a smirk cross her muzzle. She couldn't wait to see who or what was there, but for the moment it appeared to be a stallion. As she approached, she stepped into the clearing and flicked her wings giving a small hiss in her throat. She didn't want to frighten him away, but her stomach was telling her things that were most unpleasant. "Wandering alone? Aren't you afraid something awful might happen?" She asked the stallion giving another flick of her wings, but truthfully she wasn't going to attack him at all. She just liked to play around and nit pick at.
Sniffing the air, she knew another creature was in the area. She might have to make a kill during this little meeting she was having with this stallion. "Are you queasy around blood?" She asked perking her brow up.
