Dungeon Crawl

You find yourself in a dark room. There is little to no light. You can hear water dripping, and other beings coughing and moaning. In the far distance you can make out the sound of clanking armor - guards. You find that you have been restrained. You are chained to a makeshift bed. It's a cold slab, with a single layer of cloth draped over it. You're laying on the cloth.

- As always, follow Gaia TOS
-You start at level 8 - Class and Race must come from the 3.5 PHB (Player's Handbook)
-You do NOT have to keep track of your experience points. I'm a little more laid back than some DM's - I'll tell you when you gain a level.
-When you roll - Roll in this thread. It's fine. Unless I say otherwise - it's a d20.
-Give yourself your Max Hit Points.
-NO MULTI-CLASSING: Not for this one, it's just a basic Dungeon Crawl.
-Each player will receive 1 special item during the campaign which is to be determined once I have your class/race.
-You have a Bag of Holding I -I hate having to keep track of encumbrance.
- Please post your character sheet in the "Character" Thread under "Pandas Dungeon Crawl"
- PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE ART THAT IS USED IN MY THREADS. IT'S ALL CUSTOM WORK AND I USE IT FOR MY D&D CAMPAIGNS.
- All posts made under the "document" setting are occurrences in the game. If I'm asking you to roll a check or the like, then it will be a standard post.

The clanking of armor gets louder. As the sound grows, you can start to hear the voice of another. A female voice, possibly? She is screaming angrily. She is speaking a language you don't recognize.

You cannot see it, but you hear a door to the west open loudly. The door slams against the wall as it is swung open. The shouting continues, and you can now hear the guards converse. They are also speaking a language other than common.

You can vaguely make out a large figure held down by possibly 3 or 4 guards, you can't tell. The guards sound oddly feminine as well. The large figure is tied down to a slab similar to your from the sounds of it.

Looking around, Slade tries desperately to grasp the situation at hand.

The guards restrain the large being parallel to where you're held. Another guard enters with a torch, from the door to the west. It is a hooded figure, male. You can make out a silvery color under his hood. His armor is dark, with silver designs - you can't quite make out what they are. His face is not visible.

You see him bow to the three guards. He speaks a few words in the language you heard before. The three guards leave through the same door to the west. You can clearly see they are all female, and all have long white hair. Other than that, little is visible. The guards' armor is deep purple, from what it looks like.

The male figure walks over to a chair, and places his torch in a holder.

You still cannot make out the large figure being held down on the slab across from you.

"I've done nothing wrong. Why am I being held prisoner?"

You see the guard sitting in the seat to your right, snap his head in your direction. He speaks a language you're not familiar with. His tone, is clearly understandable. He's angry. He turns back, and continues on with his guarding duty.

The large being across the room calls out:

"They don't care what you have or have not done. These dark beings will consume you for their own, and their Queen will make you hers."

"Do they understand what we are saying? I have no clue what is going on and you seem to be the only one with any reason who can relate."

The gruff voice bellows back at you...

They know what we say. I know little of their language, but I know they do not mean us well. Have you dealings with dark elves, before this day?

"I am half elven myself. I guess I could think of a few reasons why dark elves would want me."

"Yes... but have you prior encounters?!"

The gruff voice sounds slightly annoyed. You hear the chains binding the creature rattle and clank.

You see the male figure to the right of you rise from his seat. He walks over to the large being and strikes it hard with the hilt of his weapon. The restrained being grunts, and you see the male step back, and wipe his eye.

He's obviously just been spat on.

You hear the voice speak a language you do not know, and the the chains holding the being rattle fiercely. You hear the tensing of metals, and the male figure starts to call out... He backs away from the restrained being...
