The pumpkin sun shining, it was a relaxing day and pretty much perfect for a picnic. Not that Israfel was up for one. He had eaten early, and now was only interested in lounging in the warmth of the sun. Classes had ended early even, and while many a more cold inclined student was indoors, the siren was practically purring with the warmth on his wings. He was a bit jittery with all that was going on, and with summer just around the corner? It would be a good break from all the drama hopefully. Until then, he needed to find a good spot to nap in.

For once, Ren was alone - and outside.
He was not normally one for taking walks, but the day was much more light than it had been in weeks, and while LW was spending time with Tybalt, Ren had decided to take advantage of the good weather to take a small walk.
Wings fluttering, he slipped out onto the grounds, sliding his hands into the pockets of his slacks as he did so. But Ren did not get very far - not paying much attention to where he was walking, he smacked straight into someone standing just a short distance away.
"Ouch...Israfel?"
He recognized the boil, but it had been so long since they had spoken that Ren wondered whether or not he was even saying the right name.

He hadn't been looking where he was going, his own fault really, the fact he was still occasionally off in his 'space land' a tad annoying. Both for him and no doubt for others. He'd spent the better part of a year forcing himself to regress rather than progress after all, not the most fun for anyone. Shaking his head, the siren looked at Ren smiling. "Yes, and you're Ren are you not?" A glance over and a small brush at Ren's shirt. "My apologies for not seeing you sooner. You out to enjoy the sun as well?" Wings shuffled side to side as he looked over as he spotted a prime sun nap spot taken by one overly large reaper. Ear wings falling to the side, he sighed. "Sorry, trying to find a good spot to nap in... been a long time since I took a nice nap in the light."

"Yes, I'm Ren," he replied, and slipped his hands into his pockets, rocking back a little on his heels. "It's been a while, hasn't it? How have you been?"
His eyes traced the path Israfel's took, brows drawing together in slight bemusement at the reaper he was looking at before he returned his attention back to the boil. Expression softening a little, he smiled crookedly.
"Ah, well. I know that feeling. It's been a long time since I've managed a successful nap in general, I'm afraid."]

Ah ha! So he was right. "It has been a while and I am well. Matured a bit, been working on getting things organized before I head home. Though, might not depending. My family has been... difficult." Shoulders slumped, he stretched out his wings, giving a few good flaps before hovering. "Hrm, there are usually good spots over by the caves, and if you can deal with the sound of water, a river out in the woods has a nice sunny bank. I was just looking for something close to the school, in case I got called or some such."
