Oh that was it! She'd been chased through this forest by that dragon for long enough! Skidding to a hault Elleth stood in place, chest heaving as she fought to catch her breath and calm her heart. Bending over she placed her hands on her knees and panted, find racing to formulate a plan that would involve one stupid sadistic dragons death.
But time was not on her side as she heard the beasts hissing laugh sooner then she'd hoped. Turning around she spied it ambling along, following the trail of destruction she'd left in her wake. It had all the time in the world while she did not. That fact only served to further ignite the anger in her breast.
"You....you think this is all a joke don't you!" She screeched as she launched herself at it. The dragon didn't seem surprised by the action and spread its wings, beating the air to kick up leaves which were quickly imbued with its power. "You think that we're nothing more than snacks and free meals that you hardly have to work for don't you!"
Elleth dodged the glowing plant matter as she closed the distance between them, "Well we're not! We are the top dogs on this continent!" Her hands struck out, shattering brittle scales to rend the soft flesh underneath. She spun on her heel and started to strike at the other side of the now stunned dragon. "We aren't your play things! We are weapons created to kill you!"
Blood sprayed as she struck a vein, severing it easily. The crimson liquid coated her arms and splashed across her face and hair. But she wasn't done yet, she was tired of all of it. "When are you going to realize that we're here to stay?!?" She launched herself up into the air and landed on the dragons head, hands already pounding away at the tough scales that covered its skull.
"We- Wont- Leave! And nothing you do will make us!" She screamed as her fists finally broke through the protective layers of scale and bone. The dragon fell with a scream, body already starting to decay as it fell. Elleth hurried to escape the death magic and stood a little off to the side as the body was reduced to bone. The top of the dragons head still bore the marks and the hole she'd left.
Grabbing her trophy Elleth spat on the dragons remains before turning around to leave. The forest was eerily silent, as if the entire thing had stood witness to the childs rage.
