Another day, another visit with Hel.
Mot hummed happily as he left his room and straight across the hall to the room belonging to Hel. He could never get enough of her company, especially since they'd had less fights as of late. Mostly it seemed Hel was holding her tongue more often than not, which Mot wasn't sure was a good thing. Maybe he could get her relaxed again.
The reaper knocked a few times, a smile still planted on his face. "Hel? It's me! Would you spend some time with me today?"

Maybe Mot was use to this, but Hel wasn’t in her room.
That was alright though.
She was close.
Very close.
The ghoul popped right in Mot’s face, upside down.
“Ah! Hello Mot!” She replied, grinning a bit as her braided pig tails swung a bit. What in Jack’s name was she hanging from? It was hard to tell. Living in a gothic building had its perks though…there were many things along the walls and ceilings to hang from. What was Hel doing on the ceiling? Working on her parkour. Duh.
“Also, do you really have to ask?”

"AAH!!" Mot yelped, almost jumping back as a face was soon right in front of him. Oh, but it was just hel, not a something that was not Hel. "Ah, Hello dear." Mot said with a nervous chuckle.
"I suppose not." He smiled and leaned forward, placing a kiss to the upside down ghoul's nose. "You look as if you're in an active mood. What would you like to do today? I'll join you."

Sadly, it was kind of satisfying to startle Mot…not that she had to try really hard.
The ghoul blinked as he kissed her nose, looking rather stunned for a moment before wrinkling it out of reflex as a smile pulled at her lips. She was still not…use to this affectionate Mot. She also wasn’t sure if she should reciprocate. Would that scare him off still? Huh. “Huh…? Oh, ya, I am!” She blinked again. Do…something? It felt like forever since she had done something with Mot…much less training.
Hel crossed her arms, still hanging upside down, and rubbed her chin thoughtfully, staring at the floor. “…Well…would you like to do some training today?”

Affectionate Mot was affectionate, and not even the forced kind. He'd simply allowed himself to accept that he felt a certain way around the Valkyrie, and that she in turn needed to know he did.
"Okay, we haven't trained in a while. Let me get dressed." Mot said with a smile, turning to leave Hel for a moment while he got dressed into somethign easier to move in.
He emerged soon after from his room dressed a lot less formally than usual. It was his fitness club attire; track pants rolled up to below the knee, running shoes and a teeshirt with a graphic of a skull and chains, lastly dawned was an unzipped hoodie. All of it was black. It felt weird dressing like this, but Mot wanted to go all out. "Okay. Ready."

Hel just stared after Mot like he was possessed.
Let him get changed to train, huh?
Alright then.
While Mot was changing, Hel let herself drop from the ceiling, shifting as she landed on her feet in kneel, the metallic bits of her boots clanging noisily down the hall. She stood, brushing off the leaves of her baggy tunic before resting her hands on her hips. Hel never needed to change to train. She went as is. Imagine her surprise once again though, as Mot came out looking ready to well…train. Once again, Hel just stared. Mot…not…in his usual clothes…
The ghoul just looked a bit flabbergasted.
“…You are just…making my head spin at every turn…you know that, ya?” She reached out to tug on his sleeve a bit and then started to make her way towards the staircase and down it. “…So…was there something in particular you wanted to work on?”

Mot tilted his head curiously as Hel stared. As it went on he started to flush a red colour. It was embarrassing going out in such clothing and his ghoulfriend's look was not helping. "I uh.. I am?" Mot answered back, tugging at the hem of his shirt. "I just don't want to sweat in my good clothes.." He murmured shyly.
Mot followed after the short ghoul, trying to get used to running shoes after having gone so long without them. "Nothing I can think of. I am not much of an athlete to begin with."

“Ya…you are.” Hel replied with a soft smirk, looking back over her shoulder at him. He didn’t like to sweat in his nice clothes…pffft. She knew, Mot. She knew.
The reaper started to hop down the stairs, humming as she pondered what they could do today that would benefit them both. On the second flight of stairs, the ghoul stopped, and her face exploded into a wide grin as she spun around to face the cowboil. “I got it!” She announced. “…We shall climb things!”

Mot hopped along after her down the steps, stopping as she did with a puzzled look. He smiled politely at her enthusiasm and tilted his head.
"Things?" He parroted. "What sort of things are we climbing?" He imagined trees.

“The reapers dorm!” Hel announced, and then paused. “….Uh…okay, maybe that is too advanced for you…um…we shall start with the brick wall behind the reaper dorms. Then…we shall go find other things to climb!” She resumed going down the stairs. “Pulling yourself up works on upper body strength and traversing obstacles as well! Very good training…”
As soon as she was at the bottom, Hel headed through the back and out into the garden. She went down the path, looking back at Mot before arriving at the brick wall…which was pretty formidable…it was taller than Mot.

"Th-the dorm?" She seemed to smarten up on that idea, the reaper signing with relief. He'd not climbed things like that since he was a child. Hel had a point though. This training would be good for him! Maybe a few weeks of this, and he wouldn't be so much of a twig compared to the other reapers. He'd been getting more and more self conscious of that. He followed after her to the backyard, staring up at the tall brick wall. "...oh dear." No, he couldn't be negative! Mot took in a deep breath and rolled up his sleeves, leaping at the wall. He had no hold on it at all and fell right away. Clear the Wall! 1-5 = Fail ••• 6-10 = Success Attempt 1/3 ••• Fail

The ghoul smiled up at him. “It is alright, Motty!” She encouraged, and then watched as he gave it a shot…and then fall off. “…Uh…” She rubbed the back of her neck.
“…Ah! Here…see, when you try scaling a surface like this, Mot…” Hel pressed herself against the wall and looked up. “You try finding bits of bricked that stick out for you to just have enough to hold until to pull yourself up…” She reached out and started to pull herself up. “That and well…just sheer power and determination!” Hel climbed the wall and then reached the top, sitting on it as she looked down at him. “You can do it!”

Attempt 1/3 • Success!
Mot took in her advice watching the way she combed with ease and strength. Mot thought more about strategy, looking for a spot that had a foot hold and began to climb.

Hel rested her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands as she watched Mot start to scale the wall.
Her lips pulled into a wide smile as he seemed to be getting it. “Ah! Good job!” She encourage. “Keep at it, you are doing great!” Now the question would be…could he continue to make it all the way?

Attempt 2/3 ••• Success!
Mot was getting the hang of this. Not only that, he couldn't let himself stay weak in front of his warrior Ghoulfriend much longer. He needed to show her he could be strong too. He had determination. He had strength.
Mot found one hold after another, scaling the wall steadily. Sweat began to bead down his temples, his body not used to such arduous activity.
"P--piece of cake."
