It had only been a brief encounter, but for the Page, Nysa, meeting his ancestor seemed to only stir more questions in his mind. He had spoken to Sir Camelot about the duties as a knight, and though the teal haired Page did value the man's words, he could not help but wonder if the advice was accurate. It would make sense if the duties of Camelot were not the same as the duties of Nysa. Camelot was of Earth, while Nysa was of Neptune.
As he patrolled after his school activities at Hillworth, the lad was easily tucking away some of these thoughts in the back of his mind. He had a checklist he was forming for the next time he saw Ancestor. Questions, some trivial, and some very key to becoming a better protector of Destiny City. The main question he'd have to ask was about his duties. What were the duties and responsibilities of Nysa? Not of knights, not of squires or pages, but the responsibilities of Nysa!
The lad made his rounds via rooftop, but eventually had to pause in his efforts as something managed to alert his nerves. There was something chaos aligned nearby. Nysa was certain it wasn't a youma, for the sensations he was feeling weren't nearly as untamed as those hideous creatures. Glancing at the surroundings from the rooftop, the lad was able to figure that at least he wasn't in the less reputable parts of the city. It was perhaps a relatively middle class area, near a relatively popular shopping center.
"Let us see what we are dealing with today..." he said with a faint sigh before leaping off the edge of the building, landing upon sure feet at the ground with a certain grace that almost made it seem like he had been doing such all his life. Folding his arms behind his back, he then began to approach the source of the negative sensations with steady footsteps.

Sailor Virtus was ready.
It was a new day! Well, a new night, actually, but the details were not the important part here. Well, they were, but not those details. But he supposed he couldn't just glance over some details, and not include others, as that was not fair and he was in the habit of being completely honest with himself and with everyone he could.
Okay.
It was a new night. And he was still ready. He had been practicing, training, and most importantly fortifying his mind for this. His new attempt at being the best soldier he could for his friends and allies. He would gather energy for them, he would defeat the White Moon senshi and try to let them understand why he was doing it. He was going to stop losing, because he had been told time and again to win.
He always did as he was told.
He was learning, though, that he had to encompass a lot of things into following the one important direction. The prime directive, if he wanted to be a nerd about it. He had to justify doing somethings that, in any other situation, would be bad. They weren't bad, though, because it was what he had to do, as a dark senshi. Just as lions ate cute bunnies, it was a part of his nature. His life now.
He was busy draining someone of their energy, after a particularly valiant effort to capture his young and strong target. Well. He was an adult, in his thirties maybe, and he had come down the alley by mistake. It turned out to be a big mistake, but Virtus, at least, wasn't going to kill him. Or even hurt him.
Just take some energy and let him sleep.

Already this was not boding well on Nysa's opinion of whoever the chaos inflicted person was. It seemed that everything chaos related took place in an alleyway. Youma, Negaverse Agents, and now this fellow.
Thanks to his conversations with Miss Grus, he was not absolutely clueless as to what this boy could be. He most certainly was not a Negaverse Agent, and his uniform bore a resemblance to the senshi fukus he had seen about the city. It was darker in color, but also had nobler colored metals, such as gold and silver, as well.
Cautiously, he stepped forward, peering at the boy and the man within his grasps. Rather than stay quiet, he announced himself in an equally careful manner.
"Pray tell, what is it that you are doing?" The condition of the man did not seem to be good, though at least he was not missing a starseed and still seemed quite alive.

Virtus looked up in surprise, blinking at the senshi. Well there went his new resolve! part of his training had been to pay attention to the auras around him, and make sure no senshi snuck up on him. This guy felt clean, like senshi did, but it felt different enough that it had no registered to him as something he was looking out for.
Now he had to make sure that any energy coming toward him warranted at least a glance up.
He smiled at the stranger, tilting his head in wonder at him. There were so many people to keep track of! This guy had an interesting looking outfit and was certainly not a senshi. He knew, though, that 'order' was not just senshi, so he had to be careful.
"Hello! I'm just doing my job! I'll be finished up in just a second. Please don't try to stop me, or we'll have to fight and I don't want to do that."

Nysa maintained a cool, calm, and collected expression upon his face as the boy turned to face him. He seemed a bit too wide eyed for someone who felt of chaos, but here this boy was, seemingly fresh faced and looking as if he was mugging someone. Rather than approach or force this odd boy off of his victim, the Page reached into the interior pocket of his coat, then pulled out a simple white feather.
It was not a threatening object, and the lad easily moved it through his fingers until he was holding it so the soft fluffy edges were brushing against his own cheek. It was a ploy to put the boy's guard down.
"I am not so certain how I would feel if my job looked as if I was assaulting an individual." There was a pause as he seemed to try to judge any sort of reaction that came from the darker senshi before he ventured to continue speaking.
"You seem to be a rather civil boy. Ruffians fight, civil boys converse."
Another pause as once more the teal-haired fellow continued gazing and mentally judging the situation.
"Take a break from your duties and we can discuss this as gentlemen."

Virtus watched the feather in wonder. What was that? Why did he have it? When Virtus powered up he didn't get to keep any of the items he had on him before, so he didn't get a feather. Not that he'd had a feather before.
Maybe this guy had found it recently and was keeping it with him.
It was a pretty feather.
"I know how it looks," he said, nodding his head, "and I know why you're concerned! But I promise, he's just going to sleep a bit and then he'll be fine. I didn't hurt him at all!"
It was true. Sometimes he knew they had to be a little physical to subdue a target, but tonight had been fairly straight forward.
Really, he was getting better at what he was doing, at knowing why he was doing it. He smiled and nodded his head.
"I try to be civil! But I also have to stay on schedule. It's kind of like my job, and I don't want to disappoint," he smiled easily, continuing his work as if the other weren't there. Well, maybe not so rude as to ignore him completely, but certainly not stopping for his sake. He felt things were going well, that they had an understanding that they were both doing their jobs.
Though, he wasn't sure what this guy's job was, since he was not a senshi.

There were aspects which concerned the lad the moment the boy made such plain statements about his task at hand. "You mean 'sleep' as in 'rest,' yes?" There were others who would have meant sleep in a whole different manner which had a much more grim meaning. Based off how the boy was acting, Nysa assumed that he was not nearly as much of a threat as someone from the Negaverse.
However, that didn't mean that the Page had put his guard down completely. Despite how seemingly neutral his body language was, he was more on the edge than he was before.
You should go in there and separate the senshi from the man.
For a moment Nysa's lips seemed to purse up slightly at the thought.
It is not attacking. It is proactive defending. He was in danger before you were around, you are compensating for not being here to start.
A part of him didn't believe the reassurance, causing him to hesitate for a few more seconds. He was a pacifist, and starting a fight was never his intent. However, it seemed as if this young lad had no intention of giving up his task at hand.
Silently heaving in a breath, the Page then rather suddenly zipped towards the dark suited senshi. Rather than strike with a fist or a foot, the teal haired individual thrust out the soft edges of his feather towards the senshi's neck. In a subtle manner, he began to move it into circles. He just needed a break from the senshi's concentration.

Virtus looked at Nysa in wonder. Of course he meant rest, what else would he mean? He was no killer, by any means, and the idea that he was supposed to kill anyone at all was still not something that had registered to the guy.
Maybe one day he would learn, but that wasn't going to be today.
Virtus was not a pacifist by design or thought, really. It was probably an apt term for him, as he did not particularly like to fight, but he did do it because it was what he was told to do. And he always did what he was told to do. It was basically his motto in life, in fact.
And he was getting more and more okay with the things he had to do, facing them with the same optimism and happy innocence as anything else.
He nearly jumped out of his skin when Nysa charged at him, though he was stunned by the tickling that followed. He laughed and began to swat frantically at the feather and at the young knight.
"Ahah! Stop! That's tickley!"
At least he wasn't thinking about draining energy any more. He backed up on instinct, curling away to protect himself from the fluffy onslaught.

That was exactly what the Page was looking for. As his momentary opponent swatted in his direction, that meant he had less of a chance to defend against the attempted actions that followed.
Keeping his feathered arm extended, the lad then used his free arm to try and loop about the assaulted man's waist in an effort to pull him out of this strange senshi's reach. If successful, the Neptune Page would attempt to swing his own body between the unconscious and the conscious of the two.
Whether or not he was successful, he still would offer these words "...now that I seem to have your attention... might we have a word or two?"

Virtus had not been expecting his opponent to move closer. In fact, all he had really prepared for was swatting and maybe punching, then he thought the other would run away. Or he would have to run off himself.
Either way.
But now he found he was moved by the Page, quite literally, and he was stuck without the fight he was expecting in this fight. Not that it was a bad thing! He was always more ready to talk then to throw a punch but he was trying to do things the right way.
He'd learned that talking wasn't the right way. But all these lessons were so confusing. All he knew was he was trying. And that was what counted! They'd be proud of him, but more important than everything else, he would do as he'd promised to do.
"I don't mean to interrupt you but I can't talk! I have to do my duty here. So if you don't mind..." he struggled a bit.

As rude as it could have been seen, Nysa had to confess his standpoint. "I do intend to interrupt you, young sir. I intend to interrupt you until you leave this man alone."
There was a pause before he added "We can talk, or I can just whisk this man away to safety right now." With those options out, the Page loomed in closer, seemingly somewhat threatening, but more invasive than anything.

Virtus' instinct was to step back and let the Page take the man, since he seemed very intent on it and maybe they had plans Virtus was not aware of and was getting in the way of. He wanted to apologize for holding them up and let them head out, but he remembered his training so far.
They were here to stop him, and they would do anything to stop him. Though it pained him to think it, he had to imagine that maybe, just maybe, this guy was a bad guy.
Virtus had never really believed in bad guys before.
"I'm sorry!"
He said it as he lashed out suddenly. It was not the most coordinated of swings, but it was a very urgent and necessary move. He remembered what Remarque told him about his posture and his swing, and he tried to balance himself so he could try and hit someone as hard as he could.
Right now that was Nysa.

It was hard to get out of the way when one pressed themselves close to the opponent in the first place. When this dark suited senshi swung, he managed to pop Nysa in the chest. It wasn't one of the best places to aim for (if the boy had been aiming at all), but it caused damage and it got the point across.
"It would seem that you would prefer to resort to violence then..." was all he offered as he took one step back to distance himself. He didn't lift a hand in an effort to fight. In fact, it was quite hard to do such when somewhat still holding up an unconscious man.
In an effort to remedy this issue, Nysa continued to hold the unconscious body up as he moved towards a wall before attempting to prop the man there so he'd at least be in a somewhat more comfortable position upon waking. However, he attempted to keep an eye out for the dark suited senshi, in case he felt the desire to take another swing.

A hit! A palpable hit!
Virtus could have done a backflip in his happiness. Except he could not do a backflip because he would hurt himself and likely land on his face. And also he needed to keep his mind in the game here, and if he took time out for a victory dance he might lose that little triumph of landing a hit quite quickly.
It was better to wait until the whole battle was won. He hadn't even done anything particularly amazing, in anyone else's eyes. No, he'd just landed a kind of pathetic hit. But to him it was such a big step! At leas he could take joy in the simple things in life.
He didn't attack while Nysa put the man to the side, politely waiting. Then he charged, as best as he could charge, and tried to take that swing Nysa was anticipating. This time, Virtus tried to aim, looking for a face or a head to punch.

At least the boy was courteous. He had waited until the Page of Neptune was able to right himself. It was commendable, and structured in a sense like a fencing tournament. It was also foolish in a sense, but Nysa would not complain in any manner about this turn of events.
The blonde senshi would not find the teal-haired fellow to be as easy a target as the first time. This time, rather than finding any sort of impact, the dark senshi would find himself whiffing air, missing his mark as the lad stepped back, leaning his head back to ensure a miss. He was now steadied on his feet and not distracted by the potential victim.
