I was writing this thinking I might turn it into lyrics so the form is a little weird.
No one ever realized the pain they caused,
Till it was done and I was gone
Some people thought they knew me
but what no one knew
was that
I was never Queen of anything,
I never had much fun in school,
I stood by my friends when I was needed,
But when my turn came I was all alone.
People thought I was stronger than I am,
they thought that I would go so far

Everybody stopped and stared
when the TV man came on and said
“this girl’s gone and run has anybody seen her?”
They found me two states over with my grandma,
when I came home everyone cried

It don’t matter if you aren’t the “in-crowd”
You stood by us when you were needed
We’re sorry you had to stand Alone
In the end I’m not sorry that I ran
it brought my friends back to me
now I’m glad
sailing high as a feather
cause
I might not be queen of anything,
I’m still not happy in School
But I still stand Strong for my friends when I’m needed
And when my turn comes I’m never Alone.
