She was lost and there was an angry dragon searching for her somewhere behind her. She hadn't done anything to piss it off and yet it still wanted to eat her for an a-after dinner snack. The Oblivionite felt tears welling up in her eyes. It was unfair. 100% unfair that she should be the victim of misplaced anger. But dragons she'd noticed were unfair creatures. Her survival against the first one had been nothing more than a fluke.
A rumble of triumph behind her set her off again and for a moment her mind translated the roars. 'Come back! I promise to flay you tenderly so that your moist blood coats you like chocolate would coat sliced fruit!'
Elleth blanched and with an extra burst of speed managed to loose the psychotic dragon again.
