About a week after her last failed attempt at dragon hunting, Kavanna decided to go back to the continent of Ayr and try again. This time, she went for the tongue of a dragon or two. Another delicate meal for her to eat that her father had taught her how to cook.
It was yet another long trip there, and once upon the continent, she was able to find another dragon quite easily. This continent was filled to the brim with dragon upon dragon upon dragon. Each of them were all different. Their shapes, sizes, strengths, everything. Last time she was here she had lost terribly. Now she seemed to fair much better.
She hadn't actually killed a dragon yet, she cut the tongues off of two which flew away as soon as they felt the pain instead of staying to attack. But the third, this one was asleep. When she cut it, it woke up instantly and began to attack. She instantly knew she had angered the wrong dragon.
It blasted her with air, straight in the face. Luckily, she was strong enough to kind of defend herself against these dragon's now. Her ward ability was stronger than it had been in the past. She quickly took the dragon by the neck with one of her vines, and snapped it. It was a great addition to have actually, the vines. She was able to do things she wouldn't normally be able to do.
Suddenly, the bones appeared and the soul fell to the ground softly, the gray swirling soul within just waiting to be released. "Yes! Another successful day of dragon hunting!" she said, returning to her boat and making her way back to the Celestial Fortress.
