APPEARANCE
Skyla is short, standing at a mere 4'8" off the snow covered ground. If you can see her you will discover that at a glance it would be hard to distinguish Skyla from a boy. She is not manly by far but neither is she womanly. Distinguishable traits such as ample breasts and wide hips are nonexistent, her breasts small with hips to match the dimensions of a very small and flat washing stone.
Much to her dismay her whole body is small and lean from a lack of proper nourishment growing up. Her skin has no lustrous golden tint, and instead it is pale tint that is highlighted with small blotches of a faint greenish discoloration over the top of her chest, shoulders and hands. Green eyes vividly highlight the face that she is otherwise ashamed to show the public. The top of her cheeks, over the bridge of her nose and around her eyes is scarred, the tissue permanently damaged from severe frostbite one season as a child.

Skyla wears white, mostly to avoid detection in the perpetual snow covered world. It aids her travels and helps her remain safe. Her first layer is a long sleeved, high collared underlayer that goes over neck. The fur she wears is white, most likely audenheir fur. Tall boots keep her feet dry in the snow and a long white coat keeps most of her body warm while hunting.
The most important feature of her outfit other than her fur is the white cloth wrap (similiar to a desert turban but with less head wrap) that covers most of Skyla's face. This both protects her from the chill but it also acts as a shield against her and the world.
PERSONALITY
Skyla is simply awkward. She is unfortunate enough to have the social skills of a svhel out of water and the face of one too. Low self esteem and gullible, Skyla certainly believes all this to be true. She's sensitive and with her low self esteem and gullible nature she'd easily mistake a conversation to be about her appearance when it is not and become distraught over it. Simply put, she's dramatic and easily jumps to conclusions, becoming hard to persuade otherwise once her mind is set on something.
Loneliness draws Skyla back to the city, and as much as she would like to find a deep hole to hide in the dream of living a normal life shines brightly. She tries not to let her misfortune discourage her, often making an attempt to socialize with people with diligence and an iron conviction. The stigma for hunters is hard to ignore but nothing is worse than Skyla herself as she digs her own grave. She's restless, fidgeting at every look and glance that might threaten to unravel and overwhelm her. Tears are not uncommon even for safe topics and it only gets worse the longer her attempt lasts.
She is may be naive but she is also decisive and strategic, making up her mind easily and following though. Above all, she keeps her word no matter what because that's all she has left that's worth anything and she is determined to hold onto it.
ABILITIES
While stronger than a large percentage of women, Skyla is not stronger than a man and has little hope to win a hand to hand fight with one. In a fight, her best skill is to simply remain hidden with her small stature, continue to remain unnoticed and then use her speed to either run away or to get the upper hand to make up for the huge disadvantage in strength. Her weapon of choice is the simplest, not requiring much know-how to use. Small knives are also easily concealed and light enough for her to use without difficulty, bringing to question just how many of them she keeps on her at any given time her for both protective and hunting gathering proposes.
Not as useful as skill with a hammer, or a knack with fur but Skyla is quite knowledgeable regarding plants. Not just the plants from the caves but the plants found near the forest as well. She's no genius on the subject but with a strong mental conviction and time she has learned quite a bit on the subject. A small dream, but gathering all her knowledge and making a book has crossed her mind more than once. However, Skyla remains unable to continue past the solitary study. Although she is able to draw the pictures of the flowers rather accurately, she has no reading or writing ability to make a book of any use to anyone and neither does she have access to any resources that would allow her to. Skyla's ability to converse properly with other people is extremely rough. She has trouble looking anyone face to face, her eyes quite fond of looking down.
Skyla has absolutely little sense of monetary value, so don't ask her to hold your money. In the same sense, it is poor judgment on anyone's part who gives her goods to barter with. She has little skills in this department and to top it all off Skyla often sells things well below their worth simply because the bartering takes too long and she becomes uncomfortable.
HOBBIES
Simple interests that don't require much have always attracted Skyla's attention. Simply playing in the snow, or building a small snow sculpture can keep a good portion of her free time occupied. However, her favourite activity would be drawing. She often draws plants, but she enjoys the rare chance to draw animals, wild or domestic, or even people if she's feeling brave. It is not unusual to catch Skyla at a pub, keeping her head down and trying to spot a glimpse of a handsome man to draw or imagine becoming friendly with.
