It had been a long time since she had last met up with her big brother, even if she had stayed over at Mac's for a long time. However, they had promised to keep in touch during that meeting they had on the rooftop... Which was why she had texted Mot last night, asking if he would like to come to her room for tea. She had gotten some fruit teas from Xiu, and had made a special trip down to a bakery in Town Heights to get a small Spookie Road cake that she hoped Mot would enjoy, just for the occasion.
She even changed out of nightgown into something proper - a blue and white dress - even though she was sure that they wouldn't be going out. After boiling water for the tea, and setting up the utensils on the coffee table, she removed the cake from the mini-fridge and put it on the table too.
With everything ready, she sat down on the edge of her bed, and waited for Mot to arrive.

Mot was looking forward to his day with Lizzy. He always enjoyed her company, and wished they would hang out often like they used to. He did so love his time with Hel, but Lizzy was his first best friend here at Amity, and still very dear to his cowboil heart.
He left his room, taking with him the basics such as a wallet and his harmonica. FooFoo tried to follow but was coerced to stay with some treats the cowboil tossed back inside the dorm room. He informed his ghoul friend he would be out for the day, and then headed outside, bound for the Demon Dorms.
Time passed, and soon he was outside Lizzy's door. "Lizzy? It's me." Mot called, knocking lightly on her door.

"Mooooot!" It did not take long for her to answer; the moment the door was flung open, a Lizzy tackled Mot with a hug. The only reason they were still standing was the fact that she was strong, and did not have much strength. Grinning up at her big brother-figure, she gestured into her room, inviting him in, "I hope you're feeling peckish."

Mot was suddenly greeted by a pink haired demoness flinging herself into his arms. Mot laughed and hugged back, letting go soon as he was led inside. "A little, I guess." He was still a picky eater, but at least he ate now, thanks to Hel and her pushy ways.
The sight before him had the cowboil whistling, impressed. "You went all out." He murmured, smiling softly. He had not expected such a cute little set up for his visit.

"I bought the not-too-sweet cake! Wouldn't want to spoil dinner, after all!" She nodded, tugging on his arm till he was in the room, and then making him sit down on the couch, "Wait here! I made tea too! Would you like yours hot... Or cold?"
She walked over to the kitchen corner, and turned to stare at Mot, sparkling away. She might be getting sparkles in the hot water used to make the tea.

Mot followed her in and sat down where she placed him. It had been some time since he'd been to Lizzy's, and looking around was like being in a whole new room. "Hot, please." He replied, looking back at Lizzy only to see her start sparkling again.
Huh. Maybe she had a disease after all? Hopefully it didn't get into his tea.

If Mot wished to become the Sparkling Spiderman, this would not turn him into one. Sadly, Lizzy had no idea why she was even sparkling.
"Alright!" She answered, putting a teabag into a small teapot filled with hot water, "Hot tea, coming up!" Putting the teapot, teacups, cup of sugar cubes in the shape of skulls, and teaspoons onto a tray, she carefully carried it over to the table before pouring each of them a cup. Immediately, the fragrance of apples and peaches filled the air; it really wasn't hard to guess the flavor of the tea she used.
"Here you go," She placed the cup down in front of Mot before taking a seat beside him, "If you want to add sugar, you can! I like mine sweet..." Really sweet, seeing how she chose to put in two cubes of sugar.

Mot took up the small cup, taking a sip without putting much f anything into it. He didn't have a sweet tooth, and preferred things with little to no sugar in then. "Mine is fine as is." He replied, finding it's natural taste more than sweet enough.
For a short moment he almost wanted to bring up how things were with Mac, but immediately the idea was tossed in a trash bin. He didn't like Mac, and despite his tough love fixing things with Hel, he really didn't want to hear about him.
"I haven't seen Rosenthal in a long while. How's he doing?" One devil for another.

"He's been out adventuring!" She nodded, looking guilty as she looked down at the cup of tea on the table, "I've been too busy and distracted to really play with them much recently, so he's taken to doing his own things with Jimmy..." She sighed before looking up with a smile, "And how have you been? Didn't have a chance to talk to you much during the picnic."

"Aw. I see. FooFoo has been doing a lot of that too, but he keeps bringing me back money and it worries me where it's origins are from.." Damn his thieving minipet. How would he ever explain his actions?
"I've been good. Much better." He replied with a warm smile. "The picnic really helped give me a sense of closure." Not only for Riley's passing, but everything muddled seemed so clear after that day.
"How about you? You always seem so busy lately. Are you alright?" Not only was she a founder of Seeds, but she'd been organizing that picnic and such.

"... Money? Really?" She frowned, tilting her head; the image of FooFoo in a cape and a black eye mask - the typical bandit costume from movies - made her giggle though, "I wonder what minipets would tell us if they could speak... Maybe FooFoo's been busier than you think."
Out adventuring and all.
"Ohh, that's good!" She smiled, glad that the picnic had helped; that was the point of it, after all, even if the hurt was bound to continue for a bit, "Yes! I've been fine... Well, could be better, but considering the things that had happened recently? I'm just happy that everyone's alright..." She paused, stirring her tea, "Oh! Have you thought about getting a mentor yet?"

Mot nodded. "I've thought about it a lot. But, I just can't seem to settle on anyone." Mot frowned, staring down at his tea. "I don't know what would be best for me. I know for sure I want to be a Boogeyman when I graduate, but how do I get to that point? A couple people have come to mind, but I'm still not sure."
The Grim Reaper turned his head to Lizzy, managing a soft smile. "How about you?" He was interested to know who Lizzy would choose to be mentor'd under.

"Ohhh, a Bogeyman!" Her smile widened as she lifted the cup, taking a sip of tea, "I meant every word, you know... What I said about the Bogeymen during the Seeds meeting. I think you'll make a wonderful Bogeyman! One that people will be able to trust... I wish I know more about them though, but... No names come to mind, except for the one named Saebel."
At the question, she looked sheepish, "I was thinking Professor QB... He's a member of DETH, and they wish to protect humans. I... I know hunters are humans, and they are terrible, but... I still feel uneasy whenever we had to fight them." She sighed, looking torn, "I want to talk to him, and find out more about humans in general... And then make up my mind about how I feel towards hunters."

Mot smiled at Lizzy's support, the name drop earning a curious hum. "Saebel, huh?" Perhaps he should do some research on that individual, he thought. Anything that prepared him for the future was worth looking into.
"Pro-human, huh? Hunters are the only encounter I've ever had with humans. I wonder if all humans are like them.. Still, I have to agree, I am not comfortable with harming them either. I'll only do so in self defense." He wasn't sure if he'd heard of QB before, tilting his head curiously.
That actually reminded him, he'd not been in a class in a very long time. Oops.
The reaper seemed sheepish, then sipped at his tea again. "Taken any cool classes lately?"

"Oh no! Um, Professor Qb brought us to this place once, during a class," She nodded, smiling at Mot; it was obvious that she really liked the idea of DETH, even if they were a little too idealistic, "There were humans there... Normal humans who couldn't really see us, much less attack us. They could be scared, and there was this human lady who could see us. She works with DETH to protect that place, known as a 'safe scaring ground' for us to scare humans, and get Fear..."
At the mention of classes, she was about to shake her head when she remembered Professor QB's open class, and slowly nodded, "Uh, yes... It's kind of where I learnt the sparkling."
