As many of you may have been aware, SHINee celebrated their 4th** year debut on the 23rd. What better way to show our appreciation and support as they continue to shock, awe, and wow us with their expanding fan base than with a song!? That's right, we're gonna compose a song for SHINee! Everyone's welcomed to join in, everyone's input will be greatly appreciated.
 - ALL ENTRIES FOR THIS CONTEST, LYRICAL OR MUSICAL COMPOSITION, SHOULD BE MADE HERE IN THE THREAD - ALL ENTRIES ARE TO BE ORIGINAL SUBMISSIONS, ORIGINAL IDEAS, UNIQUE TO YOU AND ONLY YOU - You may make multiple submissions. Do not modify old submissions as I will not backread when looking for new entries. If you have made a submission and later wish to submit a corresponding portion for said entry, please quote it and place the new material there. Ex: You submit a melody and later add lyrics to it.**: Correction curtsey of raven mae mae

- Lyrics are the only entries for which I ask a colored entry. I don't care what color, but post all submitted entries in a color so that it may easily be differentiated. - Each person is free to propose lyrics for the entire song, the chorus, one of the verses, the bridge, or for a possible rap section. - If you submit a complete song, type it out in the order that the lyrics would follow. - Feel free to use Korean, but make sure to include an accurate translation. - We will collectively choose what type of song (ballad, dance, etc) via a poll. The poll will not be added until there are 3 completed samples by which a sound decision can be made. The samples will be made available via YouTube after enough musical contributions have been made. - Musical composition entries should be made using an audio file uploaded to YouTube OR an image posted here of clear and legible sheet music. - If you do not have an idea for the complete musical composition, then feel free to submit a melody only. Melody entries may be sung using words, "da", "la", etc. - Submit a link to an audio of you singing something accapella and something with instrumental. Each shouldn't exceed 30 seconds. They can be one continuous file. - Post it to YouTube. Feel free to post it with a password, but make sure that your entry gives the necessary password. - Make sure that your two songs are contrasting - one upbeat, one ballad. Your ballad should be the accapella song, and your contrasting piece should be the one with music. You may submit it in reverse, but this gives the best measure of your vocal abilities. - I will notify you via PM with a response either way. However, "Yes" responses will also be posted here.
