So it's occasionally highlighted that Scootaloo can't really use her wings. It seems like they're going to eventually make an episode involving her and how she learns to fly.
I personally would prefer they did not. Not because I suddenly hate the character or anything, no. Because she's an awesome character, and differently abled children could use a positive role model, and Scootaloo would serve as that role model. She could come to terms with her inability to fly and it would be framed as normal, acceptable.
Seems like something the show could do, but I don't know if they would. Y'all's thoughts?

I find it kinda funny comin' from ye considarin' yer view on th' whole Derpy incident
Anyways, methinks that an episode should be made fer it, thoughI don't necessarily mean that Scootaloo actually learns ta' fly proparly. Yer goin' offa' th' whole ova'come challenges bit, it could be that she has an episode where she tries ta', but can't and accepts it and get's ova' it as ye mentioned. Then they could also lata' have an episode where she actually does learn how ta' fly, though not wit'in close proximity ta' each otha'

And Scootaloo would be overcoming a challenge; she'd face her insecurities about being differently abled in a traditionally abled society. PS: Whew, I thought the guild had died.

She could come to terms with the fact that she couldn't fly, and everyone would let her know that they love her and she's awesome anyways. Her cutie mark's going to be related to mobility, not flight, I don't think. She's a great dancer, scooterer (?) and other things like that. She'd be a great way to show kids who aren't traditionally abled that they're just as awesome as the traditionally abled kids. Nine know the rest of the world won't treat them that way. BRING THE PADDLES, WE GOTTA RESUSCITATE THIS GUILD

Ahhhh I agree with you a bunchhh~ I hope Scootaloo remains unable to fly for the same reason -- to give differently abled children a role model and connection to the show. Like you, I hope there's an episode where she accepts she can't fly and is perfectly fine with that because she's great at other things c: And like Rainbow Dash, her role model, I hope that fills her with confidence/pride ;w;
